Very clean, organized and friendly service.

This is quote the Indian market. Kind of reminds me of the ones in Chicago. It was really large for Cleveland and had multiple brands that I was not familiar with. Large selección of prepared food at a nice price. Very competitive pricing. Great customer service. They even stocked a brand of pre-made spice boxes that were not loaded with salt. Highly recommend this store for all your Indian needs.

Sunny's Asian foods is located inside the grocery store in the back. This is a review for the restaurant part of the store which is excellent. With plenty of vegetarian options there isn't much I can complain about. Every time I have been here the food options have been excellent. They do cook upon you ordering so do account for that because there will be a wait. They do tend to oversell and under deliver on wait times, so I would be cautious with that aspect of it. They do have complimentary tea which is amazing while it lasts. I really wish they just sold the tea so I could sit there and drink tea all day ! As far as the store itself it is well stocked with most things you would need in your indian pantry. I would say its more of an Indian store than an Asian/ SE Asia /Chinese store given that the majority of the items cater to the Indian subcontinent. They do have an extensive amount of ready to cook meals and the spices that you would need. They also carry some misc religious paraphernalia which is handy if you are looking for it. The check out staff is very friendly and tend to remember you by name after just a few trips which is quite nice. The store also has Indian sweets that are home made in the front of the store that are different from the eatery in the back which are all quite delicious and probably a bad idea to try if you are on a diet ! Friendly staff, good food, excellent options, great service !

Well stocked place for your favorite Asian provisions. Fresh, packaged, frozen, they've got most anything you might be looking for. Excellent spice collection, and they even have a small restaurant in the back of the store. I'll have to return and try it out, didn't have time that day. The location is convenient off 422 at Rte 91 and Aurora Road (43).

In retrospect, getting a cart would have been a good idea. I really like ALDI in terms of selling European products. It always allows me to feel nostalgic and also expand my taste palette. Prices are budget-friendly. Although a die hard ALDI fan, this was my first visit to this particular ALDI location. The store is spacious, well lit, and very clean. The store was almost empty when I visited on Monday evening. Lines and self-checkout lines moved very quickly. I was in and out in about 20 minutes, which was grocery store efficiency win. I love that there's "quick meals" section by the entrance! If you need any other items you can't find, Marc's is in the same plaza. I found few negatives during store navigation: product organization and stock. Certain parts of the store such as fish and lunch meats were illogically organized and not in the manner other stores do their organization. It took me awhile to find smoked salmon. When I finally did, it came in very small packages. It was ideal for one person but wasn't what I expected. I was unable to find liverwurst, macarons, cream puffs, and a few other minor items. My final haul was the following: lobster dip (too watery), crab sticks (too sweet), pitas (always delish), smoked salmon (more salty than usual), and Rainier cherries (tasty). I also discovered few new-to-me items: Choco Changer sustainable chocolate, clover honey, mimosa bottles, rose cones ice cream, and boho hanging chair (in AOS). And really, is this even an AlDI review without shoutout to AOS aisle? It was very well stocked but had very few seasonal items (except a fan, which is super seasonal). I'd recommend this store for anyone looking for a quick shopping experience during the week.

They squeezed way too many registers in this tiny little area, and worst was the self checkout scanner guns have 3' cords and start near the floor. Completely useless. I checked three different ones before decided on one, oh wait.. it was broken. Looks like I'm not the only one who tried to pull them farther. Seriously, scanner could barely even reach the register, let alone your cart to scan. Had to pull cases of water completely up to register. What a disaster. Zero employees to help too. Spend the extra time and go to the Aldi in Bainbridge.

The food was overall, very bland. It was expertly prepared, fresh, and beautiful. But the taste was quite boring. Be prepared to eat a second dinner when you get home. Also be prepared to sit at the bar- this place is very tiny. The vibe is nice. Low ceiling, dimly lit, comfortable cozy. The server/ bartender (I'm pretty sure she was running the whole place) Nikki, was phenomenal. So friendly, good drinks. We started with the oysters which were good. The mignonette sauce was a little different, it had lemon zest in it. It was very good! But the give you laughable amount. Like, a splash. Then we had the fig and prosciutto toast. This was the highlight for us. Tasty all the way around, 4 generous servings on the plate. Jam was so good and the prosciutto was warmed up ever so slightly. I had the hangar steak with some unseasoned boiled carrots. The steak was tender and high quality, but I couldn't taste a bit of seasoning. Also served with a tiny crispy potato pancake. Husband had the halibut special. This had some wasabi crust and if you got a bite of the wasabi it was good. The bites that weren't crusted were boring fish. Again, very fresh and prepared well. Black rice and asparagus also boring. I got a hint of lemon on one bite I tried. We also had the Brussels sprouts, which were charred along with the few pork belly pieces. Husband finished with a whiskey crème brûlée which he enjoyed. He did not, however, enjoy his Dark and Stormy. He said it was all booze and no beer or mix. Sadly, we won't be back.
