In addition to a candy store, B.A. has an ice cream shop and mini golf. Both the ice cream shop and mini golf are very cute. Unlike the candy, the ice cream is very reasonably priced. 3-something bucks for a big scoop of ice cream and 2-something bucks for a "kiddie" sized cone, though my friends and I all agreed that the "kiddie" size was definitely more than suitable for an adult, lol. I got a scoop of the blueberry ice cream, and it was rich and creamy. Was filled with lots of actual blueberries and made for a nice, cool sweet treat on an unusually warm October day. The staff was friendly, and I really enjoyed the vibes of the ice cream shop. Lots of cute touches like swings for seating and the tables being covered with paper that you can draw on with crayons.

Candy in packaging, candy in bulk, nostalgic candy, foreign candy, candy without allergens as well as candy that's gluten free, truffles, and of course the option to do gifts if you need. I love the décor - very happy without being cheesy. There was a girl giving out samples by the door. Stepping in a lady asked if I needed help and when I told her I had never been there she gave me a tour of the various sections. I didn't pay attention that closely to the prices, except to check out how much the foreign candy was, so I can't say much for how much bulk candy would be. I will say that the foreign candy is expensive. If you can get to any of the European stores or Asian stores in the Cleveland area - it will definitely be cheaper BUT they may not have everything this place has. After exploring the store a bit I decided to get 3 truffles to really try this place out. I got one strawberry balsamic truffle, one lemon truffle and one passion fruit caramel truffle. Each one was $2.80 which is decent I'd say for truffles. The strawberry was average, the lemon was good - very lemon-y without tasting artificial and the passion fruit one was also average. Overall I'm glad I tried this place out. I think it adds a nice variety of sweet options to the area. I think that if you want straight up chocolate, See's (also in Beachwood mall) may be a better option. But if you don't want chocolate then definitely come here to try this place out.

The moment we walked in, my teenage son looked around and said, "It looks like Candy Crush exploded in here!" Honestly, that was the perfect description. The décor is bright, colorful, and fun everywhere you look, pure happiness from the walls and ceiling to the whimsical chandeliers. The whole place feels vibrant, cheerful, and incredibly welcoming. It's the kind of spot that makes you want to stay awhile. One thing that really stood out was the large seating area, which would be perfect for birthday parties or group gatherings. There was so much to look at, and the atmosphere alone made the visit worthwhile. The selection was impressive. In addition to countless ice cream flavors, they offer specialty sundaes, waffles, sweet treats, and even a little shop area with candy and toys. We sampled a few flavors before deciding on Cookie Dough Cookie, Chocolate Oreo Cookie and a Coffee Bean, and all three were delicious. The only downside is that some of the larger specialty sundaes are a bit pricey, but the quality, portions, and overall experience help justify the cost. If you're looking for a fun, unique ice cream destination that's as much about the experience as the dessert, Sloan's is definitely worth a visit. We'll be back!

I visited for the first time on a Friday evening in early October 2024. I never knew this candy store existed so it was fun to check it out. I had just finished dinner at Pizza 216 down the street so as I was walking back to my car, I stumbled upon Rocket Fizz. My friend who was with me has been here before and said she loved the candy shop. We briefly decided to stop in to browse, mostly because I was curious and wanted to visit. All the bright colours from the outside looking inside enticed me to enter and will probably entice you too (see my attached photos). SWEETS GALORE -- If you enjoy sweets/candy then this is your sugar heaven! You'll find all sorts of chocolate, soft drinks (soda/pop), chips, gum, etc. They sell many drinks and chips from Asia that have unique flavours (something you may find in Japan or Korea) so I thought that was cool. I saw plenty of bubble tea drinks and traditional soft drinks such as Coke and orange flavoured drinks. I only browsed for about 5 minutes with my friend but I ended up buying some taffy's (chewy sweets) which cost 15 cents each. Most of their chocolate bars were an average cost of $6+ for a small size. I also bought a "Hubba Bubba" (bubblegum) that is shaped as tape so it's called Bubble Tape. If you have kids or a niece and nephew, bring them here as they will love it even though your dentist might not. I had fun browsing and while I wanted to buy a unique sweet/candy item, I just did not feel like spending too much money right then. The two store associates working that evening were friendly and answered all my questions. I'll certainly be back as I'm a sweet tooth. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 128/150 total reviews in 2024 - 777 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 9 December 2024

It was empty and almost closing time when I strolled in, enticed by the promise of chocolate, but I looked around the many different chocolate offerings before deciding on a sugar free raisin cluster and a regular, but half price, Halloween decorated chocolate pretzel duet. A majority of the chocolate for sale is holiday themed. I am saving the chocolate pretzels ($1.50 after discount) for another day but thought the raisins cluster ($2.50) was pretty tasty! It looks like this was a home based business up until recently and can be hired out for parties and larger gifts. Pretty cute!
