The shop offers limited indoor seating but some tables in the outside also. It is super cute. Menu is plentiful with lots of unique options. I loved all the Filipino nods. Had the BEST cinnamon roll today at All About the Cinnamon!…read more My mother is 90 years old, from the South, and unfortunately isn't able to make her famous cinnamon rolls anymore. I ordered the classic "Big Papa" today, and it reminded me so much of hers that it actually brought tears to my eyes. That's about the highest compliment I can give! They also have some really creative flavor combinations, so of course I had to try a few: Classic Big Papa -- 10/10 Caramel Pecan -- 10/10 Reese's Peanut Butter Cup -- 8.5/10 Everything was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. All About the Cinnamon is an absolute MUST-TRY. If you love a really good, homemade-style cinnamon roll, you need to check this place out!

I'm going to need a Straight Outta Oven parody sign because these are FRESH!…read more The vibe is an homage to Angeleno culture highlighting sports and pop culture. But the real feature is how they roll; that is the cinnamon roll! The options are endless the but I'm a sugar avoidant lady and I need the vegan options. Which thankfully they are prepared for on the vegan part...just let them know. I forgot to let them know and ended up purchasing two giving the non-vegan one to a friend that would enjoy it. The staff were great, listened well and communicated I had to wait 15 min for the vegan cinnamon rolls to be ready which wasn't an issue for me they let me know and gave me the option to wait! To lower the sugar I modified my order by omitting the glaze and going with the Marathon that has a blueberry compote and holding the brown sugar crumble. I'm very happy with the ability to modify and reduce the sugar and the staff had no issue or hangups abo. Are the cinnamon rolls sweet? Yes these are everything you would expect from a precision crafted cinnamon roll! it was a little intense for me but not bad! The roll was fresh from the oven. The sugar was perfectly caramelized. The cinnamon pops with quality! The bread has a subtle chew then melts in your mouth. HOW TF US THE BREAD MELTING IN MY MOUTH!!!! Like I take a bite it's a perfect bread soft soft slight crisp not chewy then it recedes to reveal the full spectrum of flavor. Perfection 10 out of 10 on baking skill! The cinnamon rolls are big and the blueberry compote was fresh! I ate half of my roll before a gig (45 min) left it in my car, then came back to eat the second half and the blueberries were starting to ferment. That was my bad as the temp in the car caused that process to kick off but yes CONFIRMED you are paying the prices for premium FRESH ingredients and it's well worth the cost! $12 for the regular Marathon cinnamon roll $13 with a $1 add on for the the vegan Marathon cinnamon roll. Total $25 for two large Marathon cinnamon rolls!

Even though it was around 9p in a suburban strip mall there was a quite a bit of foot traffic so happy this business is popular! We got the strawberry shawty. Apparently it is pretty popular as the staff was preparing some pick up and they gave us the one they just finished. We get three free toppings so added more strawberries, mochi, and whipped cream. It was pretty tasty and great creamy texture.

And the cold foam on the Matcha Cloud was perfectly creamy, seriously so delicious. The space itself is super spacious and gives off a cozy study-lounge vibe. It's pretty quiet and very student-friendly, but honestly anyone could come here, hang out, get some work done, or just enjoy their coffee. There's plenty of seating and plenty of parking, which is always a plus! The whole place also has this really cool Korean café-inspired ambience that makes it feel different from your average coffee shop. Super cute, relaxing, and just a really nice place to chill. Now, everything feels overly modern, and unfortunately, it completely took away the charm and vibe that made this place what it was. On top of that, the coffee just isn't good anymore. I really wanted to continue loving this place, especially because of how much I enjoyed it before, but it just doesn't have the same warmth, quality, or character it used to. And my bf goes "babe, it's figuratively, it's pronounced like partY" Smh. Aye aye. Anyways... I have to say, I think this is a solid boba shop for the area. I got something simple, a taro smoothie with boba. The boba pearls had a nice chewy texture, and the brown sugar sweet tasting. The taro was fine. It had a nice slushy consistency and I do like that the cups here are thick and stumpy looking. Not overly expensive. Priced fine. I do want to try other flavors, and maybe add pudding next time.

The prices are not commensurate to the type of strip mall and overall valley location that the spot is in. Also, the churros took 10 minutes yet somehow tasted stale and lacking cinnamon. This place might be for those that like to make their life hard...those that expect a treat to have drawbacks...those who enjoy paying more for less. Admittedly, good churros in the valley are hard to come by. Churro Man sucks, and Junior's Churros switched over to catering because they were the best on the streets. My items were hot. Location is at a strip mall, lots of parking. I got the Cinnamon Sugar Churro with sauces to go. I would have wanted to stay, have a coffee and play a game or two, but I had to get home so I placed my order to go. The place looked so fun, a place to hang out for all different ages. My favorite halo-halo spot!…read more I come to Cafe 86 all the time, and honestly, their halo-halo is one of my absolute favorites! It's probably the ONLY halo-halo I can actually finish because it's not overwhelmingly sweet. Everything blends together perfectly, and you can actually enjoy all the flavors without feeling like you're eating a bowl of pure sugar! Both their regular Halo-Halo and Upside Down Halo-Halo are SO GOOD! I also love their calamansi drinks and Cali-Mango Slush. So refreshing and delicious! The atmosphere is another reason I keep coming back. They even have a cute little mini library with books, which I love! There are always people studying or just hanging out, and it has such a nice, relaxed coffee shop vibe. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the service is consistently good. I always ask for just in case they do have oat milk so if you have any special requests, depending on how busy it is, might be better to talk to someone to order!!! The Tiger Tea was really delicious and was a good amount of sweet. The Mermaid drink was a fav from my group. I really liked the Milo and the Ube Milk teas.
