That band aid cost me 800.00. Fast forward 1 year and I called Gowland's dreading the cost. They sent out Art within a few days. I told him what the other company did so he took apart my outdoor unit, went upstairs in the attic and assessed the problem. He even called the manufacturer to check if my upstairs unit was still under warranty. Unfortunately, it was out of warranty for 8 months. (If I had called Gowland's the 1st time I would have saved a small fortune) Basically I needed a new upstairs unit and Art told me that the unit I had was a nice one but it was a little overkill for the size of my house so he recommended a smaller version. The salesman called me up(I believe he's also the owner) and gave me a price that was much lower than I expected. See this is the type of service that keeps companies in business. Pigs get fed and hogs get slaughtered. Gowland's was fair, not greedy. The next week, Art had the new unit installed and I had A/C for the 1st time in 8 months. Just in time for the summer. I cannot recommend them enough for their professionalism, expertise and fairness.

If you simply try to blow pine needles off oif the roof with a blower, the shingles lift up. I have contacted him at least 6 times and now he says he needs to contact the roofing material manufacturer since they are uplifting. If a hurricane comes along, I will lose half my roof. I need this resolved and I am getting g the run around. I will be reporting this to someone who takes reports on shady contractors in the St Tammany area. THIS MUST BE RESOLVED!​​

He's very customer oriented and very thorough, and he keeps scheduled appointments. His family ( wife and children ) are involved owners in a 4th generation business. I'll confirm one of the other 1 star reviews as being 100% accurate. When I initially reached out for an estimate I never got a call back with a quote. I should have taken that as a sign and took my business elsewhere. Kevin May was hired to do a job that he clearly was by NO means qualified to do. He half did the job. So many errors so many imperfections. He tried to get away with not properly doing things then when told about them he had an extremely nasty and unprofessional attitude as though this was a service that he was doing for free. He went to lowes to supposedly purchase materials. Only to later find out that he thought that it was okay to purchase chips, and drinks at my expense. Complete and total ignorance. He left trash outside of my home boxes old cabinets ect. he did not clean up after himself neither did he haul off trash from the poor job that he completed. The job remains to have many errors that he feels like I should be okay with. I attempted to report him to the better business bureau but he's not listed. I can definitely see why. Based on the quality of work or lack thereof its clear that he is by no means licensed. I'm not sure who could have given him five stars and why because he is horrible and lacks professionalism and his work is garbage. I will never in life use him if he were the last person standing and I would never recommend him to anybody. One STAR because ZERO is not an option. I am a property manager for a home where DoneRite HVAC…read moreinstalled a new Daikin central system. From the beginning, the system was shutting itself down for no apparent reason. DoneRite claimed that changing out the attic duct system would resolve the issue, so $4500 was spent doing that with no improvement whatsoever from this unnecessary expense. After this, DoneRite told me that it must be an electrical issue in the home. I had an electrician come out to inspect the wiring and no issues were found that could cause this. Additionally, I had the power company come out to inspect their connection. No issues found. During the entire process, DoneRite has been unresponsive to texts and phone calls. I haven't been able to get a person to answer the phone in their office for weeks. At one point, the owner of the company did finally return a call and told me he would try one thing and failing that working he would make a warranty claim on our behalf. Since that time, he hasn't returned a call, letter or email (it's been weeks) We have been ghosted by them totally. Meanwhile, we have 10 years left on our vaunted 12 year warranty, but DoneRite won't assist us in resolving this matter through our warranty. The catch 22 is that Daikin requires an authorized dealer to make a claim. DoneRite won't help and other companies are reluctant to take on this type of system and/or take on a warranty claim for a system they didn't install or service. Meanwhile this system is now shutting down daily and must be reset daily in order to work.
