This has been proven to be very taxing emotionally, financially, and physically. My Godsent partnership with Sunlight Contractors, LLC is a result of my personal frustration with the unreturned phone calls, missed appointments, improper inspections, and inflated estimates I experienced with over 20 other roofing contractors. After this hurricane, tarps were placed by someone else, but more were needed due to the continuous rains and high winds. Mr. Ira's crew quickly provided new ones and properly nailed down the existing ones. Because I presently reside in North Texas and own property in Louisiana transacting business during this Covid-19 pandemic has been mostly virtual and proven to be adventurous. Authorizing Sunlight Contractors, LLC with this job assignment has me fully persuaded that there are still companies out here that want their clients to be proud of their investment (home). I was able to select the shingles that I wanted and not pressured into selecting only what was currently in stock. After their meticulous inspection of my property, I was provided a contract that gives the job description so in depth that it lists how many boxes of nails that are needed. My every interaction with Sunlight Contractors, LLC specifically Ms. Jessica and Mr. Ira has been enlightening, educational, impressive, reassuring and downright outstanding!!!! Mr. Ira and Ms. Jessica have repeatedly quelled my fears with their superior, noteworthy dedication to deliver a 5 star customer satisfaction experience from the beginning to the end. They are very patient, detail-oriented and have answered my every question with a phone call if necessary rather than a text or email. If you're at the beginning of the process of hiring a roofing contractor, don't do what I did and waste time and money by "entertaining" inexperienced contractors that aren't qualified to inspect your property let alone assist you with the insurance claim submission process. With this company I feel like I have become a member of an "elite group" of people because I'm one of their clients. Come on and join me and hire SUNLIGHT CONTRACTORS, LLC. This is one choice in life you won't regret making!

I used their division/subsidiary located in Diamondhead MS. Their offering/proposal is to shoot foam from exterior of home behind any bat insulation and fill the void in between the studs with foam to better insulate your home. During the initial appraisal and assessment of my home, I was told that their customers have been obtaining 20-30% better electrical/energy bills after RetroFoaming their homes. At 20%, that would have been approximately a 7-year payback at my home's current rate of energy use, all things remaining equal. The blown-in installation in my attic had settled and they suggested extra blown-in along with their foam treatment. I agreed. With the $800 worth of blown-in, the total estimate and bill came to $4933.56. The procedure was accomplished in mid-April 2017. I did not track that month as it was half and half as far as the old and new. Starting in May, I tracked a comparison chart between the months of 2016 versus 2017. November 2016 was a very mild and January 2018 was colder than normal. However, late in the Fall of 2016 we turned our thermostat to 73 (normally 72) and during the winter we turned it to 70 for a while and then to 68 as we normally kept it year-round at 72. Too much energy was being used. Overall, after one full year, our electrical bills have gone up just under 4% after spending over $4900 to reduce them. I cannot recommend this treatment to anyone. "-" sign means increase in energy use that month. Remember, our thermostat is always set on 72F (now, since Sep 2018, at 73F). 04 Dec 17, turned thermostat to 70heat. Do not count April 2017 as foam was only in for a few days during billing period.

They gave me a quote. I said sure proceed with work. The spray foam jefe came out to spray. That should have been my first red flag, the company I contracted with wasn't the one doing the work. Then they did the walls only and said they weren't going to spray the ceilings. Which would totally defeat the purpose of spray foaming any of it. So the guy literally yelled at me because he didn't have that in his estimate. I then said well I'm not paying for full job since y'all didn't do it. The guy huffed up said they were going to do it. I just went up there with an hvac guy cause surprise surprise one room isn't getting cooled down. Hvac guy climbs over a ladder he put on the spray foam and to no surprise they only sprayed the portion of ceiling that was visible from the lower attic. Which explains why they took their ladder out so soon. The other BS is they sprayed the opening where I could've seen it straight to the roof so the area that was not sprayed was not viewable. Not only that they didn't remove the insulation on the ceiling either. At the end the had me make check out to spray foam jefe Don't use these lazy, lying, crooks
