I own a Real Estate Company in the New Orleans area and he has repaired/ replaced countless roofs for many of my clients in the last 10 years and on my home. In fact, in the last few months he has done three brand new roofs for different clients. He is extremely professional, punctual, and precise. He is hardworking, patient and takes pride in his work. Here in New Orleans, with our weather, wild rain, extreme heat roof's take a beating, when it comes to such a huge yet, necessary investment I trust Brian to repair/ or replace if necessary. Week after week, year after year I have relied on his company, he works with many of my clients at all different price points, to guarantee quality workmanship. He understands roofs can be a cumbersome expense for homeowners and he gives clients estimates with detailed information on all of the options available. When you meet someone who truly cares about their business and helping others, it is special. Brian Mackel is one of these exceptional individuals and therefore I look forward to our business relationship continuing for another ten years. I'll confirm one of the other 1 star reviews as being 100% accurate. When I initially reached out for an estimate I never got a call back with a quote. I should have taken that as a sign and took my business elsewhere. Kevin May was hired to do a job that he clearly was by NO means qualified to do. He half did the job. So many errors so many imperfections. He tried to get away with not properly doing things then when told about them he had an extremely nasty and unprofessional attitude as though this was a service that he was doing for free. He went to lowes to supposedly purchase materials. Only to later find out that he thought that it was okay to purchase chips, and drinks at my expense. Complete and total ignorance. He left trash outside of my home boxes old cabinets ect. he did not clean up after himself neither did he haul off trash from the poor job that he completed. The job remains to have many errors that he feels like I should be okay with. I attempted to report him to the better business bureau but he's not listed. I can definitely see why. Based on the quality of work or lack thereof its clear that he is by no means licensed. I'm not sure who could have given him five stars and why because he is horrible and lacks professionalism and his work is garbage. I will never in life use him if he were the last person standing and I would never recommend him to anybody. I strongly urge you to find you a reputable company that embodies skill and professionalism. I will be taking him to court if I continue to have problems with the job that he was paid to do. He falsely offers a year warranty which he has no intentions of fulfilling. He wants money and lots of it but doesn't want to do the work of the money. Which is sad. NEVER AGAIN... The whole…read moreprocess was BS, they never showed up to do the estimate, the guy said "send me pictures" so I went into attic and sent pictures of the walls and ceilings that I wanted insulated. They gave me a quote. I said sure proceed with work. The spray foam jefe came out to spray. That should have been my first red flag, the company I contracted with wasn't the one doing the work. Then they did the walls only and said they weren't going to spray the ceilings. Which would totally defeat the purpose of spray foaming any of it. So the guy literally yelled at me because he didn't have that in his estimate. I then said well I'm not paying for full job since y'all didn't do it. The guy huffed up said they were going to do it. I just went up there with an hvac guy cause surprise surprise one room isn't getting cooled down. Hvac guy climbs over a ladder he put on the spray foam and to no surprise they only sprayed the portion of ceiling that was visible from the lower attic. Which explains why they took their ladder out so soon. The other BS is they sprayed the opening where I could've seen it straight to the roof so the area that was not sprayed was not viewable. Not only that they didn't remove the insulation on the ceiling either. At the end the had me make check out to spray foam jefe Don't use these lazy, lying, crooks
