I have nothing but great things to say about North Point Orthopedics…read more Dr. Pandhi and Lauren Vander Woude were tremendously supportive during my total hip replacement Surgery. I would trust them anywhere anytime. I also have a shout out to Dr. Evanson who performed hand surgery on me as well as Dr. Rachoy, no longer with practice, who support is still unwavering. I used the NPO physical therapy team for my recovery...SUPER!! Scott and Rich and everyone there were great!!!!! Office great too HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Having previously been to North Point Orthopaedics this summer for care. When I was having a new…read moreissue, I decided to try another doctor in the facility. I thought I had pulled a muscle between my neck and shoulder, and that it would work itself out. As the weeks passed, I started to have significantly less pain, but occasional tingling and numbness, which concerned me. I decided to get it looked at sooner rather than later. So I chose Dr. Nikhil Pandhi to schedule an appointment with. I was taken back shortly after arriving for my appointment. They did x-rays of my neck and shoulder. Dr. Pandhi came in and went over my x-rays with me, which were clear. He checked my range of motion. As well as if any particular positions caused pain. Then he gave me the best case scenario on news, that it will heal on its own. He did not try to sell me on therapy or follow up appointments. He did however give me some exercises to do at home. He took his time and explained in detail my x-rays as well as when he was checking my range of motion and strength of that arm. I was so impressed with how thorough he was. He did say that if I had additional issues or the symptoms worsened, to come back in. And if anything comes up, I definitely will. That is two for two physicians that I've seen at this facility, that convinced me that I went to the best place for my care.

His manner put me at ease immediately, Answering my stupid questions without being condescending or short. I got my shot painlessly and a bit of an education. Wonderful service, amazingly fast and very well organized. Wait time, 2 minutes, no kidding. It's probably just me but his accent is fantastic. I would listen to him read a phone book! If you have a choice, go to Dr. Omar Perez, several offices in the area. No, I'm not getting paid. I just like good quality sevice.

This is about their outpatient therapies…read more Pros: the therapists themselves seems to be knowledgeable and good at their jobs. This review is not about them. cons: Scheduling. My son has mild ASD. Kids with ASD need a schedule to know what is coming next. In addition, my son is starting Kindergarten soon, so for his speech and OT, we need it to be in the evening or on the weekend. On the phone with scheduling, they told me there was plenty of weekend and evening availability for speech and OT. They scheduled us for the evaluations and did them. When it came time to schedule his appointments they don't have a schedule. Suddenly, they don't have availabilities on evenings and weekends. Moreover, they don't really have a set schedule you can create. They'll just call me in the morning if they have availability. Then they want me to pull my son from school SUDDENLY and take him to a random appointment he was not aware was happening. All of that uncertainty is TERRIBLE for kids on the spectrum. It means that they'll be living their lives in anxiety over if they will be suddenly pulled from school for an appointment. They won't be able to focus on school, and they will miss out on quality education time. When I pointed this out to the schedulers (I talked to many, including supervisors), they said, "well, that's just the way we do things." I was also told that a "good mom" would pull their kid from school whenever THEY want me to. FINALLY, the speech therapist that did his assessment got him scheduled for weekly evening appointments. He has his first appointment and the therapist was so great. She even gave me activities to do with him outside of therapy. Great! The next morning, scheduling called me to tell me that therapist is leaving the practice, so they are cancelling all our scheduled appointments. They again told me I have to just wait for them to call during a random day and I will have to pull my son from school. The ugly: I am currently contemplating a civil law suit. We found an occupational therapist with weekend availability. THEY almost didn't take us because you aren't supposed to have multiple OT eval within 6 months. But they agreed to take us if I could get access to the eval Fransiscan did. It took many calls and emails and putting in a complaint with legal that they are violating Hippa by refusing to give me my son's medical data that they were holding hostage. Where does that stand now? Well, I am about to pay EXTRA to the new OT because they had to redo the assessment because Fransiscan still hasn't given me my son's data after about a month of a fight. They claimed they have the package or me to pick up at any time waiting at their front desk. I have been there 3 times to pick it up and every time I go, the front desk workers say there is nothing there for me to pick up. It is about 25-30 minute drive there and the same back home each time. Each time the front desk has no clue what I am talking about. NOW, apart from my son, I am dealing with the similar thing for me. My PT. The person that did my PT eval said I need to go once a week for 6 weeks and then they will re-evaluate. That was in March. It is now Almost august, and they have fit me in once. I have had 1 appointment. My doctor was shocked that I had only been seen once, and is in favor of me "jumping ship." That's right, the doctors in this system know that scheduling is so messed up they are recommending you use other therapy services. SO....If you want to go to a therapist that breaks hippa laws and does not give a rats butt about patient outcomes, go here. If you want services, go literally anywhere else.
