Only took them out of the box once from when purchased to try on. Was told me they couldn't change them because they were "damaged" when I told them that's how they were sold to me they said their employee of many years of experience would never sell a pair of damaged frame glasses and always show the customer the glasses before putting them in the bag (which they didn't). Luckily I was able to exchange them but I would not buy from this location again.

They also have a small section with discounted sunglasses so sometimes you can find some pretty decent pairs there. I don't mind spending $$$ on sunglasses when I know they're going to last. The nice thing about the Sunglass Hut is that they will tighten and/or fix your sunglasses when your big 'ol melon head has loosened them up! They also have the program where, if you damage your sunglasses, you can trade them in on a new pair and get a discount on the new pair. So that helps if you happen to be pinching pennies!

I was in Pearland at the time and I called around to a few places to see about a quick fix and finally LensCrafters said they could do it. I walked in and Rashawn greeted us. I explained my situation and he said it was no problem and to give him a few mins. About 2 mins later he came back and handed me my glasses fixed and wearable again. Rashawn and the LensCrafters team were really great, knowledgeable and friendly. I really appreciate it much and very grateful.

A host of issues have come after that and everytime I bring it in for service It never actually gets resolved. i have a boat that doesnt display fuel levels that is only a year old and it never seems to get fixed for one excuse or anohter. the boat engine coninuesly brakes down and has to come back for warranty repairs but everytime they complete a warranty repair it has a new issue as soon as I pick the boat up. when i purchased the boat here the parts that were upgraded were never returned to me even though I did request them. the batterys that were sold for the trolling system were billed as deep cycle battereys but i recieved basic drive batterys. now the most recent issue the mercury motor has left me stranded in the bay for the 7th time and the dealer just acts as this is a normal thing for a new boat. avoid this center at all cost. go a few miles down the road to big d mairne atleast they have a compatent technician there. i have escelated this through the marine department and have recieved absolute garage customer service from the sales manager at this location.

However, I went back a few days ago since my vision did not seem quite right with my new progressive glasses, my very first pair of glasses ever. After explaining several times that something wasn't right, I kept getting push back and was told that I simply need to get used to wearing my glasses. Finally, they told me I could take new measurements, after going back and forth. We took the new measurements and it turns out, adjustments to the measurements and the prescription needed to be made. I should not have had to press the staff like that to make sure my measurements and prescriptions were correct.

CustomEyes Pearland was highly rated so I decided to give them a try. Scheduling was pretty easy. I went online and requested an appointment and was called back in a fair amount of time to finish. Their office is located right off 288 and Broadway, easy to get to and has plenty of parking. I arrived early as requested and there was still a bit of a wait even after my appointment. We started off with all the usual tests prior to seeing the doctor. Times have changed when it comes to yearly exams. There is alot of new tests they recommend which also comes with more out of pocket expenses. I found the front desk and others to be straight business without the service with a smile. It's not a must, but it does make you feel a little more welcome. I saw Dr. May on my visit and she was a pleasure to see. Super friendly and very knowledgeable. She ordered a few trials for my contacts and sent my on my way. After that is where I felt service went downhill. I have high astigmatism and I knew there would be a wait, but it was almost 3 weeks without a call from the office. I called once and they said they would get back to me and they didn't. The next time I called about a week later, they said one of the two trials were there and waiting to be picked up. How was I supposed to know that without a call. The same thing happened with my second trial. I just found it odd that I had to reach out every time. Needless to say, though I liked the doctor I saw, the overall customer service left alot to be desired. I didn't even end up using my yearly benefits here. I'm glad many people have liked the service here, but I will keep searching.
