The young lady that I dealt with on my lens prescription was very informative and gave excellent customer service. The cashier was awesome, very friendly and was chatting with us, very informative also. She checked us out and we left . We went to lunch and I went to look at my invoice and I notices it did not show my vision insurance copays. I called back to the office and spoke with a nice man, named Darrin. He got my info, looked up my account and said they did not have my insurance info in their system, he got what he needed and said he would get with the optical department. I got a call this morning, he told me everything had been entered and yes, I was due a refund and he could credit my card right then if I could give him some info. He ran the card while I was on the phone with him, told me how much everything was and this $$ was my refund back to my card. He apologized for the office's error. I just want to tell the whole office staff and to Darren , Thank You for your Prompt service of correcting this error. She stated I NEEDED to call my insurance and they will replace it. I said it's not my fault to do all of this it's you all. Overall I only come here for an exam and take my prescription else where. If I can give no star, this would be the rating given today. I showed up for a passport photo…read morewearing appropriate clothing and was targeted by the manager with "remove your earrings", then the person who was supposed to take the picture then stated at another time. "remove your necklace". I challenged her with the rules, since neither brought out any policy stating these items needed removing, since neither item worn obscured by face. I removed both and told the employee to take the picture, and then attacked by mananger and employee with needing to leave, or be removed because of rudeness. It seems to me neither person works for TSA, and both were treating as if I was taking a "mugshot" of course this is not customer service friendly, my challenge was "are you ready to call the police?" Note: if you are Black or Brown, no one looks like you at the store, and I more than sure they do not want us in the store. Take your business elsewhere, and find your Passport by going to the CVS just a mile down the road. By the way, the rules do not state anything about earrings or necklaces, only if your face is obscured which it was not. I am also writing Walgreens Leadership about this and the manager escalated everything instead of deescalating it, so much for her managerial skills. They require training and stop thinking they are employees of TSA or the jail, it is a Passport (have had many of them) and none responded so unprofessionally.

Dr. Merritt is extremely friendly and always answers all of my questions, and is patient with me when I can't decide if 1 or 2 is better. They also have a wide variety of glasses and sunglasses in the store as well! Ranging from designer to cheaper options. The last time I went, they made sure I knew exactly what I was going to have to pay after insurance whenever I go and pick up my contacts. I was glad to not have any surprises! They also typically have my prescription in trials which they always offer while I wait for the new prescription to come in. They recently moved to a new location which I like much better than their old one!

I have seen and been through it all with the "front office". From being overcharged hundreds of dollars (and refunded!) to dealing with "non personality-bland persons" front office people, which is ALL of them. I don't know what is going on there, but there is some kind of huge issue. I have never dealt with such an office with an actual handful of people that give such a negative store front. I really don't know how to explain it myself. None of them should be in a position of providing Customer Service. These people prevent this business from thriving. Someone seriously needs to look into what the issue is here, because whatever is going on is greatly affecting this business. Someone help!
