They need to remove the word 'CARE' from their name, because neither do they care nor do they do a good job. My first visit to Dr Brown, glasses received made my head hurt even as i turned from 1 monitor to another. Terrible self doubt and low self esteem in those 2 weeks caused a lot of mental agony. Second visit & Dr Mack is looking at the glasses, says they are very aggressive as is the style of Dr Brown. She tones down the power and prescribes new glasses. This time around my head does not hurt, but the photos are not clear and letters are double-image; i am in mental agony again, as my family has started poking fun at my repeated complaints. I return for a re-check and the assistant notices I cannot read anything with my right eye closed, while wearing the glasses! Dr Mack again looks at this and realizes they were not made per the numbers she prescribed!! Hullo!!! I sit with the store manager to get the glasses corrected 2nd time and she recommends I just cancel my order and go somewhere else. No comfort/care/service/apology from store employees, as each blames the other. And store manager Nikki Ray hands me the prescription and asks me to leave, because she calls the shots there. I had been at my most polite behavior until I sat with Nikki, on my 5th visit and having wasted 9 hours already. They have absolutely no quality checks, peer review, customer training, empathy or conscience. read more

The turnover in this store is unbelievable and the prices are extremely high so any "deal" they offer is not really a deal at all. They need to learn prices on the internet for glasses and other stores in the area are not nearly as high! Then when you ask if they are able to put a new prescription in a pair of glasses you bring in they say sure but as you will learn they are too thick and pop out and you have wasted your money. read more

I really liked this LensCrafters. The store is set up with plenty of room to walk around, explore and try on eyewear. I first came in on a Saturday for an eye appointment. The Doctor was great and efficient. I was late since I went the wrong location and they were very accommodating as soon as I got there. I was in and out in under a half hour. I then took my prescription over to one of the helpful ladies and she helped me pick out my first pair of glasses. I asked her for honest opinions and she gave them to me. She was wonderful. My glasses were ordered in no time at all. I even had a coupon (received online for making an appointment) that I was able to combine with my insurance for extra savings. About a week later, my glasses came in. They were correct and are what I needed. The process was completely smooth and the price was great for the quality. They have different price ranges for frames which I appreciated, since I am really hard on stuff I didn't want to spend too much. I also went to another store and got some made within an hour, the price was cheaper but the quality wasn't near as good and the service definitely left something to be desired. I will return to this LensCrafters next year for my exam and updated glasses if I need them. read more

I usually see my normal eye doctor but because his schedule was fully booked up, I visited here. Staff was friendly but the optometrist is not very knowledgeable. Complained about blurry vision in my left eye and wanted to get it checked out. They ran the normal battery of test and said I was fine. Still had issues when I left but they didn't catch anything. Made the issue to my other eye doctor and he moved me in right away. Once I got to my normal eye doctor, they found out my retina was detached in one eye. Unbelievable that a normal optometrist couldn't find that. Basically wasted $180 at the eye doctor there for nothing. read more

I LOVE this place. Braden was SO, so helpful to me when my glasses got stepped on the frame was twisted up and needed to be fixed (titanium no less). I had actually taken them to Vision Works, since it was at the entrance where I parked. The guy there was not friendly and after a few minutes gave up and said they couldn't be fixed. I'd just gotten them a couple months ago and was hoping Lenscrafters could do some magic. People there have always been friendlier than other places I've shopped for glasses. The glasses cost over $350. Braden took his time working with them and didn't give up. He got the lens back in and the metal frame straightened out enough for me to use them again. Yay, I was so happy!!!! If I'd have been able to hug him I would have. I have bought other pairs of glasses here i the past and I'll be SURE to come back. If another person had said they couldn't help m I may have given up and had to spend another $350-400 for a new pair. Non existent customer service. My son and I walked in, there was no hello or may I help you. There were no customers in the store at the time. Two sales associates (girl and a guy) were sitting at their desk they never got up to say hello or ask if we needed help. My original plan was to go to the St. Johns town Center LensCrafters where I've gone for the past five years to have my eye exam follow up and seek possible new frames and my lens prescription. The St. Johns town Center location is a very busy location and therefore they were only able to secure me an appointment a week plus 2 days out from the day I went in to inquire. I made the appointment, but was really in a sense of urgency as I felt my vision Rx had changed; I wasn't seeing things near as I had before. So I called the Southside Blvd. location to inquire if by chance an earlier opening for an exam could be secured. Lo and behold there was a 2:00 pm opening the next day with Dr. Ann Nguyen. I arrived on time and I was greeted and personally escorted to the receptionist area to validate my appointment, sign pre-exam documents, necessary HIPPA disclaimers and wait for the doc once I handed over my personal information. I must've sat down and was summoned to the first stage of the exam within a minute. Excellent wait time for an appointment! Before going to the exam area I took note of the pristine way the store was kept. Each representative was neat and presentable, carpet vacuumed, windows washed, the panoramic showcase bays were free from vacant spaces, previously tried-on frames were recovered and presented by brand for the next customer to try on. Dillion was a charismatic person who started the great experience off and handed me off to Dr. Nguyen who was friendly, approachable and with great humor while being professional and courteous. After all was said and done and her exam findings were finalized and we discussed the immediate steps then the follow up plan, I proceeded to pay my dues, celebrate the insurance coverage and head to the showroom of frames to go through the process of elimination to select the one frame that'll reign victorious through 2018. Big shout out to Nikki Ray the woman who discussed coverage, discounts, lenses options knowledge, assisted in the right frame selection and more. She was effortlessly good at her job and answered questions and patient through the frames process. Ultimately, the very first suggestion was my final choice to become my new frame of choice. Nikki obviously knew her subject and what worked best. I was thoroughly pleased with my decision to go to this location for service. I recommend it and I look forward to returning to pick up my eyewear and interact with this great crew of professionals. read more

Came in to check out some frames, staff immediately greeted me and a very informative gentleman (Isaac) helped me throughout my whole search. He wasn't pushy or rude but actually very helpful and kind! I looked at a quite a few pairs before finally settling on a pair. The gentleman explained all of the details and options for lenses and the whole experience was pretty quick. Check out was easy and the glasses only took an hour to be made! Wow prescription glasses have come a long way! Overall, very pleased with everything and will return next time I'm in need of sunglasses and/or prescription lenses. read more

I'm all about quick and easy. This was neither. First of all- while i was waiting for the eye appointment i overheard the staff making fun of a customer who was having a hard time putting in contacts. Like i'm sorry but if you have never done it- contacts are not easy. So that really put me off- and then i overheard the doctor talking to the staff about how annoyed he is with the owner because she keeps scheduling him without asking? Like maybe don't share that out where I can hear you? The lenscrafter staff was fine, once they took my insurance it took a minute to figure it out. Their selection is either super expensive or cheapo- and you'll probably end up spending 100 on glasses with your insurance. I ordered glasses and was told that i would be notified when they came in.....except i wasn't. I waited two weeks before just calling and asking when they would come in only to hear that they were there. When i picked them up they just handed them to me...like i could have snatched anyone's glasses if i knew the last name. All of this to say- i won't be back. read more

They know that getting an eye exam isn't an easy experience for everyone and neither is the collection of eyewear to select from. The store staff on the other side is also very nice. LensCrafters are overly priced! I would not recommend in getting your frames/lenses from them. Just to get one lens replaced because it was scratched, LensCrafter was going to charge me over $300 because they have to replace both and are not able to just replace one, even though my frames/lenses are not even 6 months old. If you do buy anything from them, be sure to buy the protection plan even though you will be out of luck after it expires because they will just encourage you spend more money towards new pair of glasses! read more

Kaitlin is RUDE. Girl with the blonde hair. She lies about what insurance covers ..This location sucks! I had an appointment at 1:00pm I filled out the paperwork and waited to be seen for a hour. Which is ridiculous, what's the point of scheduling a appointment if you guys aren't going to hold up your end of the bargain? On top of waiting an hour I went to the back for the eye exam.. I believe my "doctor" was Maria Rodgers. She pissed me the hell off. I asked if I could have my husband come back with me and she asked me, " Why do you need his opinion or something?" I felt like that was a very slick and sassy comment which should not have been asked. Also she asked to dilate my eyes I asked if there was another option because I didn't want my eyes numbed.. she then tells me no there is not. I haven't been going to lens crafter I had been going to vision works who had other options instead of dilate they would take a picture of the eye. So anyway I turned that down. Once the eye exam was finished I went to the front to check out. The young man at the desk informs me that I need to pay $50 for the contact exam. Which pissed me off even more. As I stated I go to vision works.. and that wasn't something that they did. So I asked why was I charged $50 and he said because it was for a contact exam. Which is BS! I said so if I would've just told you I need a update prescription you would have given me a prescription for glasses and contacts and I would not have been charged? That's BS! It's just $50 but I still feel like I shouldn't have had to pay it that's what insurance is for. They cover that stuff..Needless to say if you wear contacts and glasses just say you need a prescription for glasses because it is the same thing and they will charge you more even when they do nothing different or extra. I mean she didn't do anything. I waited a hour for a 10 min appointment and for a "doctor" with a sassy mouth. I ordered contacts with them and it takes forever as well. I'll never come back I don't like this location. They freaking suck! read more

My confirmation for my 10:30am appointment was made at 9:40am, the same day. Being asked "Um, are you still coming?" doesn't bode well for the upcoming appointment, but since I hadn't had any choice to confirm earlier, I did. Showed up, exam was fine, no issues there. When I went to go pick out my glasses, they took down my insurance information and I spent 30 minutes picking out the perfect frame that would be covered by my insurance. Having researched before hand, I was prepared to pay for the cheapest option through my insurance (time's are tight) or $10. Much to my dismay, I was informed by the sales agent that my total cost for the day was $95. I declined and left. I understand that commissions need to be made, but don't lie to me. Ended up taking my prescription to LensCrafters at the Towncenter where I paid 10 dollars for my new pair and had my new eyewear in less than an hour. read more
