I went to Trillium 3 times as my glass were so uncomfortable and painful I couldn't even wear them. Every time an adjustment was made a different part of the glasses caused pain. In addition these are progressive glasses and when the adjustments were made they didn't fit on my nose correctly which caused issues - I can only see farsighted. When the last adjustment was made I was rather concerned and asked 'what if I can't wear these'-I was told to check Amazon for some kind of eyeglass gear and if needed to call the manufacturer. Although effort was made to fix my glasses I don't see why I should be searching for something to fix my glasses nor call anyone. I purchased the glasses from Trillium, although you may not be legally liable, I would expect much more than this. Well I got arm guards for the arms of the glasses and it didn't work. Now I have scaley, red soars on the sides of my head and they hurt.

Everything was very efficient and easy to follow. They only allow a few patients/clients in the place at once. Since there was only one doctor working today, I had to wait a bit in between my exam. She was engaging, thorough in her examination and took the time to discuss how my vision might change with age and even recommended Ocusoft Hypochlor Gel for my dry skin patch on my eyelid that I get occasionally during allergy season. They offered a three-year optometry program which seemed like a great deal. Since the first visit, I have given this business every opportunity to provide me any level of customer service. The problem with the Durban Pavilion America's Best Contacts and Eyeglasses location is the management of the store itself. There are plenty of staff members, but none seem to have any grasp on how the day-to-day operation works, nor do, they understand the customers drive their reason for existence. Over the course of three-years, each time I visited this store, the staff members would walk around in disarray, talk with one another, and become fixated in wonderment as to how to accomplish even the simplest of tasks. As many other reviews have mentioned, you will wait an inordinate amount of time to simply collect your prescription, and pay your bill. And, while doing so, the employees here will do their very best to let you know just how little you mean to them. If the term "Section 8" were an eyeglass store, it would look just like the America's Best at Durban Pavilion. I will gladly go back to paying higher prices to simply get better customer service.

My eye was swollen, my vision started to become blurry, and it was uncomfortable. I called Atlantic Eye Institute to see if they could fit me in for a same day appointment. I was NOT holding out hope, but when I called I was pleasantly surprised they had something open that afternoon. When I arrived I filled out virtual paperwork, and then waited in the lobby until my name was called. I can't remember the nurse I had, but she was pleasant, asked a bunch of questions regarding the state of my eye, did some observations, and then walked me to an open room. Dr. Diaz came in happy as a clam. Greeted me with a nurse. I told her I was sorry that my eye looked disgusting and she smiled and said these are interesting to us. So that made me feel somewhat better. After looking at my eye, she decided to drain the stye, due to the size, the discomfort I was having. It didn't hurt, she prescribed me a steroid antibiotic cream, and made me a follow up appointment and I was on my way. I was happy and grateful they could fit me in on the same day, because I was miserable before I came in.

Not only were we treated like a VIP but it beats the big 2, Lencrafters and Vision works in care and service. The only drawback is the selection of glasses. However, we were pleased with our new frames that we get every 2 years. In the future, contact lenses might be an option, but I can not put the lenses in my eyeballs. I guess it is a fear of poking myself in the eye. I had one reservation about Coastal Clear Eyecare since my eye prescription changed every year, I could not retain my old prescription for my Rayban sunglasses. I would have to pay an additional charge. They did advertise some sort of special. If you are in the mood for an eyecare lab that is low key and will treat you as a person and not a number run don't walk to Coastal Clear Eyecare. Tell them Jerry sent you!

We arrived just before his appointment, but staff advised us the doctor fell a bit behind schedule that day. We browsed frames, & my son went back a few minutes later. I spoke with the doctor in passing and informed her my son had ASD. We discussed him previously having contacts, but a few years passed since he last had them. She took me back to the room as well in case my son needed "backup." After his exam, the doctor set up my son to try a pair of trial contacts. The first time he ever tried contacts was in the office of a different national chain optometrist. He spent nearly an hour fighting to put in the lens while the staff spoke shortly & rudely towards him. We ended up leaving that location and trying again the next day. This experience at MyEyeDoctor was entirely different. The staff and Doctor Rogers spoke with him kindly, quietly, and calmly. When he experienced difficulties, they all encouraged him gently. When he succeeded after maybe 15 minutes of trying, the staff & doctors all cheered for him. He was so proud. We also ordered his glasses while we were there. Because we live out of town, they shipped his glasses to our local MyEyeDoctor. Everyone was helpful and kind during our time here. We will definitely recommend this location again.

They still proceeded to fit her for contacts without her consent/signature. Then gave her sample contacts, when she got to the counter she was told she owed 80 dollars for the contact fitting. She reminded them she did not ask for that service. Then was asked to remove the sample contacts out of her eyes (she had her own pair of contacts available). . Then the staff went and proceeded to go next to her to make sure she removed the sample ones they provided(without consent) and throw them away. The staff and dr were rude pushing a sale and trying to force something on her she did not want even when she told them no to that service. I would not recommend going to this location if you want good service. Be careful with the extra services they push on you, even if you dont sign or consent for it they could still try to charge you for it. I work for a major insurance company and will be telling all my customers not to go to any of there facilities!
