Warby Parker is known for less expensive glasses, and I saw in the window that they had some styles that I knew she would like. We poked our heads in and made an appointment. We showed up this morning for the appointment and we were quite early, but they were able to see us early too, which was a real delight. The sheer lack of paperwork was refreshing, the pre-appointment stuff online was quick and relevant (seriously, why does the eye doctor need to know if my grandma had asthma?!?!), the in-store was simply showing my insurance card. EVERYONE here was just simply amazing, too. Extremely personable! After my daughter saw the doctor, she came out to give me a status update on her eyes, which was appreciated. Checkout was fast, and the price with my insurance was incredibly reasonable, far less than the other eye doctors I've been too, including big chains like Stanton Optical and Lenscrafters. I was extremely pleased with the experience here, big thanks to the team for making it so nice! J.Ja

I was not informed beforehand that discount cards were not accepted. I only found this out after my eye exam, which was frustrating and left me feeling like I had not been given all of the information I needed to make an informed decision about the cost. Especially, upon arrival I inquired of this more than once. I was also not told that the doctor would not be physically present in the office. The exam was conducted remotely, and there was noticeable background noise from children/others while the doctor was apparently conducting the appointment from home. For an eye exam that cost $120, I expected a more professional and controlled environment. Not to mention they didn't have trial pair of contacts like most other establishments I have utilized in the past. Had I known ahead of time that the doctor would be conducting the exam remotely, that discount cards would not be accepted, no trial pair of contacts were not available and what the experience would overall entailed, I would have definitely opted to cancel and go elsewhere before proceeding. My main concern is the lack of transparency. Customers should be given this information before the appointment and before being charged $120. I hope the office takes this feedback seriously and does a better job communicating these details to patients upfront.
