I have some inquiries about the stocking at this location, which is smaller (less stock) than some other ones I've been to. Who is buying all of these mirrored pit-viper, oakley, gaudy color, wrap around, sports glasses? Are there that many professional fishermen in Birmingham? This is the only occasion these glasses seem acceptable for. It seems like 1/4 of the store is covered in these. Apologies if this is un-hip of me. And another thing: the stock here seems exceedingly expensive. It seems like other Sunglass Hut locations and online carry brands that are more affordable ($50-$150 range). I think they should carry a bit more of this and a bit less designer in store. I don't appreciate the tactic to make you spend more by only offering expensive glasses. I ended up purchasing a pair which the sample fit wonderful in store, but by the time I put them on in my car after I left, I noticed were very crooked on me. I brought them back a couple hours later and the wonderful saleswoman attempted to adjust them, but they were too cattywampus and we ended up just ordering a fresh pair to my house. I learned my lesson to always try on the pair you're actually taking home! Oh well, such is life.

Some of the best retail customer service I have ever seen, so great I had to come on here and leave a review. I ordered my replacement lenses and when I came back to get them installed Bo was there, I had a pair of Steve McQueen Persols that needed a screw, Bo found a perfect fit and started to clean them. The frames on my persols needed a lot of cleaning, Bo offered to keep them at the store clean when he had time. He truly went over and beyond to help. Thanks Bo!

I went in twice, within the same several days that I visited the Macy's location. In those two times, there were two different females working. The first visit, though more pleasant, still wasn't anything special. Asked if I needed help, I replied. "Those are over there" with a finger point. Ok, thanks?? Second visit, (as referenced in the previous review) was never even acknowledged. Female clerk was flirting with a guy, who when he left, never even looked up due to being deep into a texting war on her phone. First of all I was very clear about our needs that day and stated them clearly in my review well. I made any kind of statement that morning that I would not be purchasing from you ever! Furthermore, after your refusal to help I stated that my husband and I both wore glasses and had you helped us we would have chosen you for future needs. Also, if you had been kind to my son and I and helped him find a style that suited him, you never know, we may have gone ahead and purchased them from you and then went to lens crafter for a quick pair that he could use later as his backup. Secondly, what you sadly still fail to understand is the concept of customer service. Every time someone walks in your store there is no guarantee they will purchase from you. I was still a potential customer that day and for future needs. Had you treated us like the customers that we were I would have been back.
