The office is on the small side but even with that they had a very nice selection of glasses to pick from. The waiting area is small but very nicely set up. They had a few kids toys but not many. They did have a coffee counter type thing going on though. The doctor was so nice and great with my daughter who was nervous about the whole procedure. I will for sure bring my other kids here when it's time for their eye exams.

After years and many different doctor visits to find what was causing severe migraines and pain in my neck and back, my two year battle with medical problems led my unsuccessful treatments (spending almost $4000 in tests and medications from my Neurologist to Orthopedic Doctors) to a suggestion to get my eyes checked even though I had no "symptoms" of eye issues. Through a family member's referral to Dr. Harrelson, I was able to make an appointment the next day. The care I received more than exceeded any expectation or any experience I have had with the countless doctors in almost every field. The most sincere interest and problem solving ability he showed actually made me walk away from my visit with more knowledge about how my medical conditions were possibly connected to vision problems I wasn't even aware of...basically, for the first time in over two years I left with a new found hope and even more importantly, understanding. He treated me as a concerned friend would, giving me insight into my medical issues...not false hope...but the potential of being able to relieve some of my pain and other options we would try if the first attempt was not successful. He also was able to give me personal referrals to other doctors in different fields that he trusted. I recently moved to Alabama and I've been a patient here for the past 3 years. Each year, there…read morehas been a problem with my glasses, my husband's glasses and my contact lenses The eyewear & contact lens staff seem to be very unorganized. They were supposed to mail me my contact lenses in 2025 and 2026. Each year, when I elect to have them mailed, the office sends me a text saying that they are at the office and ready for pick up. In turn, I have to leave work to get my contacts. My husband ordered eye glasses after his appointment, and it took them over a 6 weeks to finally locate them, after he had to continuously call to check on his order. In addition, my computer glasses still seem "off".....even after I provided them with the prescription from my eye doctor in Ohio. Although I'm pleased with Dr. McClintock and his professionalism, I cannot take the office staff being so unorganized. I'll be seeking a new facility for my eye care.
