In addition the optician argued with me about my sight and told me my doctor did not get the prescription correct. It was time to move on. I was very fortunate to find Soto's Optical. All the staff were friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. This was a very refreshing change from the previous optician. If you have worn glasses for any length of time you know when your glasses do not fit properly and your vision is not corrected properly. At this point I was very frustrated because I could not see properly. I ordered my glasses and just picked them up today. What a big difference. I can actually see again. I would highly recommend Soto's Optical Boutique. I will continue to support this business in the future.

But today, while there, we found some hard to find Labubu boxes. Say what? But I noticed they were all taped shut with masking tape. Turns out, my inclination to be skeptical was right. The boxes were real, but the packages inside were FAKES. Unabashed fakes. Being sold for more than retail. Eyes were bulged. Heads were extremely lopsided. Hands were upside down. Tags had misprints in the name. When we asked the young girl behind the register, she admitted that they only bought the bags and then put them in the real boxes. So... all but admitted to selling fakes. And yup, no refunds/returns. Helpful. Sell sham stuff then conveniently have no refunds/returns. This store knowingly bought fakes, likely Lafufus, to sell them in legitimate PopMart boxes at full price. We wont shop here again. Zero integrity. FULL Intent to swindle. Never again.

Buyer beware! Fatima Moon sells you a big load of lies…read more This is the first time I've ever been to an eyeware business that sells you on frames and lenses, but does not give you any proof of what they just told you they're ordering for you. Additionally, this is supposed to be a high-end concierge service. Yet she did not listen to me when I questioned her pushing me on getting the two frames I picked out with progressive lenses for reading and distance, yet i've only had computer progressives in the past, and I spend thirteen hours a day on a computer for work. When I pressed more, she offered to give me computer lenses in my old glasses as part of the package price she offered. I decided to move forward and, as I was leaving, tried to give her my old glasses for the new lenses. She said, "No, I can do that quickly when you come back," and then shared how she fits all the lenses herself. Upon return to pick up my new glasses and expecting to get the new lenses in my old glasses, she only produced the new frames and lenses. When I questioned her, she said, "I didn't order computer glasses and claimed I told her I couldn't afford them?? Which makes no sense because they were part of the package price she offered me.... she then found her scribbled paper where she wrote out the package looked at it said, yep, i'm right.I didn't offer you that" and then proceeded to rip it up without showing it to me!! I'm not confrontational and didn't want to cause a scene, so I just left with the two overpriced glasses that don't fit my lifestyle. She texted me a week later to check on them and I politely shared my concerns. She said that she could take back the frames. No problem, but the lab will not refund the lenses. She also said the lab would change the lenses if I wanted to switch to computer progressives. I thought about it and decided to ask if she would take one of the frames back because they're kind of heavy anyway, and replace the lenses in those frames with computer progressives in my old glasses. At this point, she now started claiming that she doesn't take back frames and stated that clearly nothing will make me happy? Obviously, that's confusing because I just told her what would make me happy.... I was very taken aback by this and professionally shared how disappointed I was that I felt like she had duped me from the beginning because she never put computer progressives in my old glasses, even though she told me she would. She responded to this by telling me, "I was "out of my mind" this is all on text.... She went crazy..... she's very unprofessional and not trustworthy. If you're going to take a risk to do business with her, make sure she gives you everything in writing of what she's "selling you on" Finally, keep in mind that she likes to brag about all the rich Sarasota, people that spend crazy money in her store. Including 40 year old retired lawyers on long boat key and all the other rich Sarasota, folks that spend thousands of dollars in there, unnecessarily. *these were her words.

It was just all way too complicated. Go to a regular eye doctor and bring your prescription there to get glasses. Lesson learned!
