If you can't run the sound system forget about being a venue. If you are going to be nasty to those who rent for the weekend stop renting for the weekend your rudeness is gross. Your kitchen supply's need washed and needed tools added. Stoves both kitchens in and out need a good scrubbing they I doubt would pass a health inspection due to rust dirt dust yuck and dishwasher was not connected to be used out of order yet no sign igniting pilot lights are Manuel. Also not good at communicating or cooperating with hired professionals. I would choose Sungate Place as my wedding venue again in a heartbeat! From my very first inquiry with Joanna and Ken up until my last they proved to be so kind, accommodating, patient and communicative. I booked my date around a year in advance and it was quite amazing to see just how much they were constantly improving their space and offerings as we awaited our special day. I also booked their vacation rental the night before my wedding, just like the rest of their facilities, it was very well kept and clean. I honestly lost count of how many compliments I received about the venue during my wedding, and how many times those helping me plan my wedding (other vendors and my family) complimented how great Ken and Joanna were to work with.
