Wow! This was the perfect place for a wedding! The deck is right on the lake and surrounded by trees. Just stunning! The staff was also super helpful and friendly. 25 adults and 4 kids spent a week here in the Cascade Lodge. Everyone had a great time!! It was comfortable, lots of space for everyone. Beautiful scenery, nice patios, good kitchen, lots of pots, pans, dishes etc. We enjoyed hiking (watch out for poison oak & check yourself for ticks afterwards), floating around in the swimming lake, fishing, playing pool, feeding the llamas & donkeys, the kids enjoyed catching pollywogs, too. We really enjoyed all being able to stay in one place and enjoy cooking and eating together, that can be hard to find, so this was great! It's easy to get to from I-5 and there are lots of things to do and places to visit nearby. Patti was very helpful when needed and super nice. One suggestion would be to have the washer/dryer in the shed between the parking area & the front patio. read more

I had to give you one star because thats policy. I have cancer after being here for one hour just to look at the property for an event next year, I cant believe you call this a place... literally awful. one. the lodges are death traps two. the lake is a puddle... no joke. three, the rentable tables and chairs will require tetanus shot because theyre so eroded and awful. notice the use of awful- because it is. I havent seen that many stains in my whole life. the carpets were beyond riddled... which is being nice. I would suggest this place for an event that required ...actually i wouldnt. I dont wish that on people. really go visit before booking!!! ITS PHOTOS ARE TRICKERY NO LIE!!! read more
