Electrical Contractor ec13007240 Solar rx11067037 I would like to file a formal complaint against a solar contracting company based out of Ocala going by the name of Sundurance Solar, (A.K.A. Ocala Solar Power, B & B ELECTRICAL LLC, SUNDURANCE INSTALLATIONS LLC, POWER HOUSE GRID LLC, BATTERYSTORAGE.COM, INC, SOLORACK LLC, I contracted with them to purchase a solar power system for my townhome several months ago. They have completely ripped me off and deceived me throughout every stage of my transaction with them. 1. The solar panel system was incorrectly installed on to a portion of my neighbors' roof. 2. I've been calling them for months with no responses regarding this and other offenses I'll mention below. 3. I've verified that the solar panels they actually installed are completely different (brand, make, model #'s) from what I agreed to purchase according to my contract and permit applications. 4. I've also verified that the power inverter they installed was NOT NEW but rather previously used. If someone could please confirm that this complaint has been received I would appreciate it. These companies unfair and deceptive business practices are wrong and should not be allowed to continue. I can only imagine I'm just one of their many victims. My wife finally decided to write an account of our interactions with Sundurance Solar: I concur with Shawna. Sundurance company, their owners and staff are the most dishonest people that I have ever had to be in contact/deal with. If there was a possibility to rank them minus infinity, my husband and I would. I do not usually write any reviews on any company, but this company outdid itself. I would never ever recommend Sundurance Solar LLC, its owners or employees to anyone. Our story begins in July of 2017 when the Sundurance Solar dishonest representative/sales person misinformed us about the terms and conditions of the proposed contract. This was followed by a number of emails and phone calls prior to the installation of a 50+K solar system with multiple reassurances and so forth. The contract and the solar system installation were done on 07/17/2017. To make my story short, after multiple phone calls, reassurances, false promises by the Sundurance Solar Company, the system was inspected by the Orange County for the first time on 09/22/2017 because Sundurance had not submitted a request for the inspection until a week or so prior to the date of the inspection after our phone calls to them. The story does not end there. The Orange County inspection rejected the work done by the Sundurance company because the "system wiring" was "not installed as per approved plans" along with at least 8 other problems highlighted by the Orange County. On repeat inspection by the Orange County on 10/05/2017, the verdict stated "All items not corrected - Rejection JV47). The Sundurance Solar company promised to send us the check for the payments that we have been making on the non-working system. When my husband send them a copy of our payments, at first they informed us that they received the documents with our payments as was indicated by the assistant's email that we received. Then several days later after my husband called them b/c we did not see any checks in the mail from them, they informed us that they lost my husband's email. Subsequently, after multiple phone calls on our part, the front desk person from the Sundurance Solar company even said that the check would have been mailed two weeks back. We have yet to receive it. Today is 11/04/2017. My husband has been calling the company on a daily basis. He "looks forward to speaking to the Sundurance Solar company front desk person, who on almost daily basis explains to my husband how the Sundurance company is fighting for our family's interests with the Orange County". On two occasions, my husband was able to speak to Darren, who listened to my husband, did nothing, and referred my husband to speak to the front desk assistant. Also he and other owners are almost impossible to reach during business hours. At 10am they "did not come yet", at 1pm they are "gone for lunch", at 3pm they are "still not back", at 4pm nobody picks up the phone. Nobody (including secretary) returns phone calls either even when promised. Today is 11/04/2017. The contract was signed with the system installation on 07/17/2017. Above is just a brief description of the story that is missing other colorful details of the dishonest conduct by this company. My husband and I feel that we have been emotionally abused by the Sundurance Solar company. They took advantage of us. This company is DISHONEST and should be ashamed of themselves. Was a nightmare, the panels are cheap, little savings and they disapear

BUYER BEWARE. My solar panels were installed on 10/27/2017. Since then I have left multiple messages asking about the status of my permit. The panels have to be inspected by a county inspector before the utility company will swap out the meter and bring the panels online. Neither Darren, Mike or Beth will return my calls and the county has no record of a permit for my address. This lack of response to a customer that paid $33K to have the panels installed tells me that this company is looking out for themselves and not the customer. I am supposed to get a battery back-up also but since no one will return my calls I don't believe that will ever happen. Based on the lack of response from ownership I do not believe my warranty means anything. Steer clear of Sundurance Solar. read more

I hate to give them one star! They installed my panels on 13 July and have never completed installation of my monitoring equipment. The reason is that the system was a $24k mistake on my part. My electric bill has not gone down at all. I am filing a complaint against the principals with the State Attorney General for elder abuse. Furthermore I was sold SolarWorld panels and they used cheap Chinese panels. I have been advised that there is a class action lawsuit against Sundurance for selling SolarWorld panels but installing cheap imports. read more

LIES&EMPTY PROMISES! contract was not honored,different panels were installed,pool heating panels were not moved even do it is in the contract,that was the beginning,8 months after install i have 4 panel the barely produce any power.after 12 months wires connecting the ac/dc converter to the of switch caught on fire,tried to contact them several times since problem begin but with no luck,only lies&promises .& my luck suniva the brand the company used files 4 bankruptcy,horrible experience,big,big mistake..43k $$ blunder on my part for allowing sundurance 2 do the job! read more

I usually do not do online reviews, but when I saw the negatives below and compared it to my experience, I could not be silent. This is without a doubt the best experience we have had with a large purchase. From sales to installation to post sale service, everything has been excellent. There were a few delays on the way, but they communicated and explained everything, so it was a non issue. Great company. I will recommend them highly. read more
