Kyla, assisted in the care and was extremely caring and very sweet. She made the temporary bridge which fits very comfortable. The last three visits my husband and I have had, we've been called back 25-30 minutes past our scheduled appointment time. It's frustrating to arrive 10-15 minutes early, then see everyone that arrived after you called back before you are. As many times as they call, e-mail, and text with appoinment reminders, I expect them to honor my time and be prompt as well. But most frustrating is the lack of communication of Dr. Thompson's departure. I visited him in September, with a follow up the next week. I was surprised that a different dentist performed the procedure. When I asked, I was only told that Dr. Thompson was no. longer with True Dental. My husband called before his visit a few months later asking who his denist would be, but was only told the practice had several dentists. He didn't find out who his dentist was until he was in the room. There has never been any formal communcation about the change. We are looking for another dentist with a smaller office that provides more personal service and values their patients.

I'm really glad I did. I made an appointment about 2 weeks ago, and I was so happy to hear they had openings for new patients. I chose a 1pm on a Tuesday and I literally was in and out in 30 minutes. I call that winning. I arrived at 1250, was greeted by the receptionist with a smile and paperwork. They had gone over my insurance when I had called 2 weeks ago, so I just had to do preliminary basic health reports. At 1259 I was going to give them my paper and I was called back. I was out of the door at 130 on the dot. You don't get this anywhere people :) Also Cassie was my dental hygienist and she was very nice and thorough. We talked about my dental history and I told her I had X-rays taken In April of this year, and at first I was told my insurance wouldn't pay for the X-rays this time, but after some talking, since I had new Insurance company, I was able to get X-rays. I was then greeted by Dr.Myers, who ended up doing my first cleaning. I have seen a lot of dentists, and I believe this is the first time the dentist did my initial cleaning and not the hygienist but I could be wrong. He said the next one the hygienist would see me for a cleaning and that's fine with me. I left with a happy smile because no new cavities were seen, and all I needed was a cleaning. Multiple people had recommended this office to me over the years, and now I see why. I called because I was in severe tooth pain. They were quick to schedule me in *SAME DAY* and I got a tooth extracted in no time. Everyone in the office was quick, efficient, and kind. Later in the week I went back for another, and they were equally quick to schedule me in to relieve me of pain. I'd say this is the most accommodating dentist I've been to- they certainly don't make you sit in pain any longer than you have to. Notably, Katie at the front desk was extremely genuine- her personable customer service helped relieve my dentist anxiety as soon as I walked in the door. Mark McComie likes to commit insurance fraud, he charge me for fillings on my #8 & #9 tooth when all he did was actually polish my teeth when I first came to him. Then he filed claims with my insurance company saying he filled my #8 tooth when all he did was throw desensitizer on my tooth because he overfiled my #8 tooth when he was in the process of filling my #7 tooth. And when he filed it down too much he made it sensitive (I didn't know was as sensitive until the numbing wore off) I verified this with his assistant while I was there that day because I felt it. So I took pictures of it when I got to my car and also when I got home so that I can have evidence to prove to Mark that he actually did file over on my #8 tooth But when I came to him with this information after a couple of weeks he tried to claim he didn't do it and that he runs and "HONEST COMPANY" and then he said he would fix it, well he quickly threw some desensitizer on it very sloppy, it took him less than a minute but in the process of polishing my tooth he chipped my #8 but I didn't know he did it until about a week later. When I felt it I thought it was just excess agent left on the tooth, but what makes him so horrible is he knew he did it and didn't tell me. You have to be a real horrible dentist to know you damaged someone teeth and not say anything, unless you purposely damaged that person's tooth. I don't know if he's a racist or he don't care how he treats people. Your not a good Dentist if you have to deleted all negative reviews on Google to make yourself look good. We all need to report this scam artist to get him shut down.

In addition we were told that the procedure would be billed first to our dental insurance, then Medicare and lastly our supplemental medical plan since it was a medical procedure. We paid almost $1900.00 then when the dental insurance paid $236.75 they advised us that Medicare was not billable and they could have charged us more so we would not be receiving a refund. If then they would have billed our supplemental, had they paid anything, they would have kept that too. They would have known that at the time of the original estimate. Huge run around. Dental care was excellent, but billing process is a hoax.

I've gone to highly rated dentists while living in California and will say Dr. Deena shaped two beautiful veneers that are far superior. They are perfect in shape and color while still looking very natural, unlike many veneers that lack that variance in color of natural teeth. She's an artist! Their dental assistant, Kendyll, is also highly competent and friendly. Donna in the front office is always so lovely to chat with and is on top of all the billing and insurance dealings. She does a great job explaining everything.  Alani Dental Center is very fair with pricing and has never tried to talk me into unnecessary treatments, unlike some dentists I've been to over the years. Holly was super quick in getting these done & knew exactly what she was doing. Not to mention that she was incredibly sweet! To my surprise, this super cheap x-Ray also came with a consultation! Doreen checked my gums, taught me a bit about why I was having so much decay. I had so many questions & she so patiently answered them all! I then met with the treatment plan counselor, Courtney, who helped me figure out what promotions were running so I could get discounted! I've easily paid 3x for 1/2 the amount of treatment I got at Aspen. We chatted about what was on my X-rays & the recommended next steps. We then got to work! The office was packed but they figured out ways to squeeze me in, which was super appreciated. I came back the second day. After what must have been a million cavities filled, I feel no pain!!! Woot they even took the time at the end on the fillings to give me a chance to feel around my teeth & told me what to look for (a cliff). Dr. Boling offered that if anything felt weird, they could shape it better! Oh & I almost forgot Gema one of the assistants even took pity on me when I mentioned that I had forgotten to eat breakfast or lunch & gave me some of her food!!! Fair warning, I don't think she brings enough for all patients ;) I definitely recommend this place! Btw - they even have TV at the operating chair!
