I was not disappointed, in fact, I was delighted. Their staff was welcoming and friendly. Their vendors were the example of the Sunshine. They were bright, polite, professional, and helpful. Cheers to the dream coming true for our High Desert Citizens who hoped something like this market place would happen! I am learning a lot about the 2022 Apple Valley Community... I am learning of the Local Legends and The Families. I am seeing the love, compassion, and kindness. Curt was incredibly helpful and accommodating right from the start. Payment via credit card was seamless, and the process was super easy. Curt even texted us a map of the office building and clearly directed us on which rooms to use. The office itself has a nice aesthetic, very modern with a white and gray color scheme and sleek glass tables. The chairs were perfectly comfortable, though they did have some noticeable scratches and patches on them from use. I really appreciated the amenities in my room; there was a printer you could easily connect to via an app if you needed to print, and the thermostat was zone-controlled for that specific room, meaning I could set the temperature exactly to my liking. My only real critique and suggestion for improvement is to install actual locks on the office doors. While I was in the middle of my important meeting, someone barged right into the room, even though the light on top of the door was glowing red to indicate it was occupied. Obviously, this isn't the fault of the owners, but people are idiots and don't pay attention to indicator lights. It was highly disruptive, especially when the entire purpose of renting a private conference room was to ensure I could be in a meeting completely undisturbed. Aside from that one hiccup, Curt was wonderful and very pleasant to do business with. It's a fantastic, modern workspace option, and with a simple lock addition, it would be absolutely perfect!

Keep an eye out for it, as the turn-in comes up quickly once you turn right from the street. It's immediately following a traffic light. Since I arrived at night, I couldn't tell whether there was additional parking in the back, but the initial lot is tight, only allowing about 3 or 4 cars. The architecture is unique, and the interior is all-white, quiet, and well-maintained. There is a pedestal sign at the entrance directing you to the rooms. While this is functional, a more modern or clearer directory better matches the building's contemporary vibe. We used a spacious room that featured frosted glass doors for privacy. It was equipped with several chairs, folding tables, and a TV with laptop connectivity--perfect for presentations or board meetings. There was even a countertop area for snacks and coffee. Overall, the space was clean and provided security (there are cameras in the rooms). I would rent here for a meeting, provided the small parking situation isn't an issue for a larger group.

Load up and belt the family in the car/truck (up to six members) and the admission price is very reasonable. It includes parking. The fair only runs for two consecutive weekends. I guess gone are the days of two full weeks of fair fun. Bear in mind that this will be very, very small in scale compared to other county fairs in Southern California. You could probably finish looking at everything exhibit wise within a couple of hours. It is limited in livestock exhibits, in general, and the home arts and crafts are held in just one building. Keep expectations low if you enjoy fair exhibits. The two buildings housing the various other business vendors were also not full at all so shopping for gadgets and whatnots will be minimal to non-existent. However, there were ample food vendors with various choices of typical fair fare. There were also plenty of carnival rides available. I did not stay long enough to watch the shows but there was some musical acts scheduled. The fair grounds are clean and appeared to be safe. Could use a few more benches to sit and rest on. Good for a few hours visit with friends and/or family. Probably not enough to see and do for a full day. The venue is small enough that there is only just a mild amount of walking to access areas. I will probably revisit in a few years.
