I promised Christina and her staff a review and I am going to live up to that promise right now... Let me start out by saying what an awesome person Christina is. She is Kind, Funny, and Very Personable. That said when it comes to being a Wedding Coordinator she is the ultimate wedding party whisperer! She is awesome at what she does and that's saying something when your job is herding YOUNG CATS! (Old cats too, I'm the only one that didn't pay attention) She is firm with instruction but with a sense of humor and silliness that made everyone feel very relaxed and able to follow and retain her instructions during the rehearsal and the ceremony. Christina and her assistant have a real eye for detail and continuity. From the ordering of the flowers and having them be exactly what my Daughter wanted, to the placement of them on the arbor and tables which was stunning. From the Newlywed table to the welcome table, the desert table, the bar, the photo booth, the DJ, The entire layout of the room was prefect and absolutely beautiful. The whole event from my perspective went off without a hitch and that is all thanks to CC's Celebrations. My husband and I started planning our daughters Quinceanera and went with CC's Celebrations and More. Christina, Sandra and the rest of CC's Celebrations team over exceeded our expectations. They were absolutely incredible!! Their professionalism and attention to detail left us and our guest impressed. Christina made sure to meet with us (by zoom calls, extremely convenient) to gather as much detail as possible to ensure 100% satisfaction. I applaud her efforts, she is truly amazing. Fast forward to the day of event and Christina, Sandra and their team were on fire. Decorations from entrance, photo ops, tables and center pieces were on point. I had the distinct pleasure of working alongside Christina as a photographer for a 16 Debut. Her event decorations, scheduling, and directing were all taken care of down to the finest detail. She was direct, extremely friendly, and informative. She made my job much easier by having the whole event run so smoothly. I would like to start out by saying that Christina went above and beyond meeting all of our expectations. For the flowers, I gave her some ideas of what I was looking for and she totally ran with it! We wanted to have flowers set up at our intimate ceremony in the desert and she made several trips to the location to make sure everything turned out perfectly. On the day of our wedding, she dropped off all flowers and rental items where our reception was being held then went to another location to set up more flowers for our ceremony and even waited there until our guests arrived to make sure everything stayed in their place. I booked CC's celebrations for my daughters Quinceanera. Christina got back to me right away and stayed in contact with me constantly to make sure that I got the look I was going for. It was very reassuring to have a great line of communication throughout the planning process. The day of the event I was pretty stressed out about some other things that were not turning out as planned. Christina was already at venue finishing last touches on the decor when she realized I was stressed. She came straight to my rescue to help anyway that she could. I had high hopes that Christina would help me with my wedding. I was so stressed with the planning so I thought I would take a good chunk of my savings and hire her. I wish I would've listened to my first instinct about her. She's very good at convincing you that you're in good hands and that she will take care of everything. At our second meeting she showed me the budget planning that she had already started for me to impress me, so I hired her. As soon as I gave her my deposit, contact with her was pretty much over. I hired her to help me find a venue but instead I was spending hours searching for venues myself. The first time we went to look at venues, it was because I sent her the info and the locations I wanted to see. That bothered me a bit but I left it alone. On the second trip, she showed me one venue that she found. I ended up liking it and wanted to book it but she was always in a rush and instead of being there with me during the booking like the contract states, she left. I was getting very bad vibes from her. So I set up another appointment with the venue so she can actually be there with me. I was letting her know about my ideas and details that I wanted to do with the venue and her response was that it was fine the way it was. If my idea wasn't within budget I'm sure there's other ways of letting me know than to just shut my idea down. I asked her for reccommedations for photographers which she did send me two, and after that I didn't hear from her for a whole month, the only text I received from her was a reminder that my payment was due. During that month I was emailing tons of photographers myself and making my own meetings. I was feeling like I was really wasting my money on her. I then texted her that I really wanted to book a photographer and asked if she had any other recommendations because the other ones she sent me wasnt really the style I was looking for and I wanted to look at more options before committing. The photos are very important and expensive so I wanted to be sure I was making the right choice! I asked her to send me more and she decided to send me the same ones again because she works with them. I asked her that I wanted other options and she decided to tell me that the ones she sent were very good. At that moment, I knew that it was enough. I felt forced into choosing the people she works with, doing what she felt was right and she wasn't taking my opinions and wants into consideration. I let her know how I felt, like I was doing all the work and she told me that she's spent hours on my wedding and she's been waiting for responses from other photographers. That raised a red flag, since I've been contacting many of photographers myself, I know they take no longer than 24 hours to respond, definitely not weeks. She pretty much lied to me, slacked on my wedding, ignored me for a month, and took my money. After I refused her services, she had the nerve to email me that she had no idea why I felt that was necessary and that she found me everything I needed. She left me with an unfinished budget plan and a venue she didn't even book with me. Instead of being relieved from all the stress of school, work, and wedding planning; she just took my money and left me with so much more stress and less time to plan. Brides, be careful when booking with her. She talks a good game but your wedding isn't anything to be played with. I don't want any other bride to experience what I did so just please don't risk it and spend your money elsewhere. read more
