I wish they would not clearly be expecting tips after wiping down your car but that is the only downside to this wash. The store had the chain-specific items such as Jacksons Bake Shop baked goods, a hot foods section, and deli-prepared items. By the refrigerated and frozen foods section, I spotted some motor oil options available (I had bought a quart of oil the day before and mentally tagged this chain to remember in case of needing oil while out driving). Across the aisle was a selection of frozen novelties, of which some Häagen-Dazs items caught my eye. Looking over other cold items, they also had Icee slushie/slurpee options available. However, volume-wise, the single package of a Häagen-Dazs vanilla milk chocolate almond ice cream bar sounded most appealing, so I went with that. Payment was straightforward and the counter workers were friendly. The store and attached Shell gas station were moderately busy, so I went with a second area of parking a little ways off from the entrance of the Jacksons store, at the far end of the Shell pumping stalls. The staff is always miserable they're never smiling they're very rude the manager does not care about anything to do with his customers or his staff he will stand there and just be quiet while there are situations within the store even when he's asked for assistance. I mean if I attempt to top off my tank purchase $10 in gas, and hand the cashier a $20 bill, they WILL NOT give me $10 in change, causing me to have to leave and get gas somewhere else. The staff is rude and snotty and leave an all-around bad taste in your mouth for hours after you leave. Ampm ruins my day at least once a week. I can't tell you the number of times I have crossed the street to a chevron to get some decent service.

The pumping stations/stalls were easy to maneuver into for both my dad (driving a U-Haul) and I (driving a Toyota Corolla). Gas was a fair price, and it was easy to find the gas station from I-5. We had no payment issues here and fueling up went smoothly, though it was a little dirty around the pumping stalls. There is also a small convenience store if you want to grab some supplies or a snack.

A couple of the pumps are SUPER slow! It can be quite frustrating when in a hurry. Overall, it is a decent gas station. The convenience of having a market on the premises is a plus for those last-minute grocery staples.
