We came around 11 am, and it wasn't too crowded with most queues having at most 3 cars waiting. All the pumps have the extra long hoses, so cars go to either side, regardless of where their fuel cap is located. I did notice that for most queues, cars would wait until all three slots were open before proceeding (eliminating the need to go around cars, or worse, backing in to parallel park on a middle spot). Once it was our turn, we got the middle spot. Using the citi costco card meant one tap is all it took to validate membership and provide payment method. And we only had to pump 5 gallons so was done quickly. We did leave first, going around the first car, but didn't bother looking to see if the next car in line would try to parallel park into our just vacated spot. Also didn't notice if there was a full-service lane (remembering that until 2023, this was the only way to pump gas in Oregon).

I haven't had any issues with the pumps being out of order or card readers not working in quite a while, so I've added a star since my previous review. They have their own rewards program which is free to sign up. They take Safeway rewards in addition to Chevron rewards. They also have special deals where you can earn extra points on certain days of the week or holidays. For example, this weekend (4th of July) they offered 2500 bonus points for a fill up of 8 gallons or more. Also, each time you fill up with your Chevron rewards, you automatically get 5 to 10 cents off per gallon. Every little bit helps with gas prices today!

Conveniently located near Vancouver Mall, near shopping, restaurants and Wells Fargo Bank. They offer a rewards program where you can earn savings on gas and convenience store items. You can keep track of your rewards on their free app. You can also set the app up so they automatically email you a receipt for your gas transactions when you enter your phone number for available rewards on the gas pump. I love this feature because sometimes pumps won't print a receipt. This location also has a convenience store with a large variety of snacks, beverages and last minute staple groceries for a quick stop on your way home. Overall a nice, clean gas station in a high traffic location. Accessibility is easy to enter and exit. I would recommend this location.

On the basis of that long experience, I would highly recommend this fuel center because of its convenient location in a good neighborhood, easy-in/out, and their clean/uncluttered lot. Now it seems, I have to drop the "highly" from my praise. In the past week I've been inconvenienced/delayed on consecutive visits by malfunctions of their computer system - momentary interruptions or unexpected reboots - either before or while I was pumping gas. Long lines form at the window while the clerk vaguely explains to each customer that we can't pump gas (or pay with credit or debit card, or get receipts for gas already pumped), because their "system has gone down". Not good, Fred Meyer. Ger 'er fixed, or customers like us (who pass up other gas stations to get to your fuel center) will soon stop visiting your location.

There's a great feature having 3 pumps on both sides for each island. Plus there are lighted signs to indicate pumps in use or available. During my 6/11/26 visit, regular gas was much cheaper than my usual Shoreline site and barely a wait. Same for the main Costco warehouse in Ridgefield.
