We came around 11 am, and it wasn't too crowded with most queues having at most 3 cars waiting. All the pumps have the extra long hoses, so cars go to either side, regardless of where their fuel cap is located. I did notice that for most queues, cars would wait until all three slots were open before proceeding (eliminating the need to go around cars, or worse, backing in to parallel park on a middle spot). Once it was our turn, we got the middle spot. Using the citi costco card meant one tap is all it took to validate membership and provide payment method. And we only had to pump 5 gallons so was done quickly. We did leave first, going around the first car, but didn't bother looking to see if the next car in line would try to parallel park into our just vacated spot. Also didn't notice if there was a full-service lane (remembering that until 2023, this was the only way to pump gas in Oregon).

Jubitz Truck Stop is wildly entertaining! I can't believe I've never been here, given that I've…read morelived in Portland most of my adult life! This north Portland commercial complex has something for everyone, and I highly suggest stopping by to check it out. First and foremost, this is a truck stop with all of the ammenities one would expect to find in such a place. There is a convenience store, laundry facilities, showers and overnight accomodations. But this truck stop takes things to the next level. Visitors will also find a movie theater, an oil bar with seating a great customer service, a massage parlor with a wide variety of modalities and services offered, a large family-style eatery, as well as a lounge and entertainment space that hosts well-known musical acts touring the country. Jubitz has been around for a very long time, in various iterations, and it seems to only get better with age. The overall scope of this place is remarkable. The restaurant is massive, the lounge is as well, and the big names that perform here are pretty impressive! I've bookmarked their performance calendar and will be sure to check out one of the future dates myself.

I mean, let's be real: it doesn't cost the gas station anything to provide customers with air. It's literally everywhere. Looking around the area, there are other gas stations that provide air for free, 25 cents, or 50 cents. So I'd advise finding one of those if it is air that you seek. If you want gas, whatever. This station is fine.

I usually stop at a 7-11 on Airport way on the other side of Interstate or someplace on 82nd Avenue. This time around, I was coming in from Sauvie Island and needed a little help finding one from that direction. The car map directed me to a relatively expensive Union 76, of which I passed JL Mini Mart on the way. I turned around, pulled in, and filled it up. It wasn't the cheapest I'd seem, but it was good enough. The only inconvenience was that the pump required me to declare an amount, of which I guessed incorrectly the 1st time. And now that it's legal to pump your own gas in Oregon, this experience was all of my doing.
