I asked her if someone else can help me and she just decided to leave the counter and did not come back for almost 15 minutes. I think she was just trying to ignore me. Unfortunately due to water and environmental conditions the bottom rusted and leaked, necessitating replacement. Abt could not have been more helpful, in this time of need. The Abt office (Nathan) immediately and fully addressed the situation. The Abt plumbers delivered fast and truly excellent replacement with a new Reliance 50 gallon hot water heater and installed all the necessary copper pipe, valves and fittings---including full labor at no charge. The plumbers (Russell Cartwright and Tyler Fite) installing the unit were very meticulous and highly competent in every detail. They also were extremely helpful and courteous. I have used Abt exclusively for over forty years and recommended their products and service to numerous other home owners--no one has been disappointed. Their appliances and equipment are always top quality but their service and commitment to stand behind and service these products is both outstanding and exemplary. Basically they sold me a completely broken system that can't be used and I can't exchange it. Nothing like getting completely ripped off for Christmas. Adding to the complexity of my multiple service requests were that remote access tools were not available due to security restrictions at my workplace. I worked with Zack and another tech for several days and they both exhibited remarkable patience, courtesy and in-depth knowledge of these systems, and various makes of cameras. They managed to help me restore service to my downed cameras and point me in the right direction on other issues, all without being able to see our network remotely. As someone who has worked in IT & Support for more than 20 years myself, I feel I know good service when I see it and this level of thoroughness and patience is memorable.
