    Starbucks here almost always hits!

Really solid spot overall! The Christmas festivities were super lively -- tons of people, great music, and that cozy holiday energy everywhere. Sundance Square has always been kind of a road-trip muse for me, and the mix of shops and restaurants just makes it even better. Such a fun place to wander around this time of year!

the big sparkly hat is quirky and fun photo op. is a pretty nice plaza. the lighting here at night is aggressive.

On a trip to Fort Worth, we checked out Sundance Square. Tucked in, you'll find a nice oasis. There's some impressive street art that gives the square some character. Also, water fountains where the kids can have some fun. A couple of restaurants and businesses are in the area. And sometimes you'll see events held here. Sundance Square is listed as a top 10 attraction in Fort Worth. It makes for a cool place to spend an hour.

Having once been employed at a downtown business, I miss working near Sundance Square. As usual, the Square, along with the surrounding businesses, were all decked out with holiday decorations and cheer. My sister and I walked around while waiting for reservations at The Cheesecake Factory. We also enjoyed the safety of downtown as there were law enforcement and security officers visibly patrolling the streets and sidewalks. Come enjoy Sundance Square. It is definitely a family affair during any time of year.

This place was very beautiful to walk through. I honestly loved the silver hat and the water fountains. Reminds me of when I was a kid and we would run through them. Good place to relax and have a good time, love that there is security there. I found out you're not supposed to sit on the hat until after my pictures.

The Sundance Square fountains on a beautiful Saturday afternoon- shutdown until further notice.

Sad. Absolutely sad. I know that we are still in the age of Covid-19, and that there are tons of restrictions, mandates, and life adjustments around both businesses and municipal recreational areas that are supposed to keep citizens safe. However, when there are plenty of restaurants open at full capacity and Sundance Square is closed? That's truly disappointing. The glorious fountains within the middle of the Square? Turned off until further notice. Additional seating within the square by Del Frescos? Roped off, and shut down. The Starbucks next to the fountains? Empty on the weekends. Its so bad that even the pigeons stopped coming here to defecate. What was once a part of downtown Fort Worth's glorious renaissance has now become a Covid-19 casualty. Mayor Parker, please do something about this.

Sundance Square is such a fun place to come for a date night. I love how everything is decorated and festive for Christmas. We love walking around and looking in all the little shops. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from. There are even a few bars close by if you want to stop in and have a drink. Overall just a great place to wonder around and see what you find.

A lot of fun to hang out on the weekend with some live music in the background and people hanging out in the open air . Great vibes , worth checking out

Lovely spot to take a walk around downtown Fort Worth. Just a few blocks from hotels like Aloft and The Worthington. I was there on a rainy night, but still enjoyed the displays of the water fountain and the big jolly holiday tree. It is heavy on Christmas, without mention of other winter holidays, like there's a massive nativity thing. But it was a clean, safe, chill environment to walk around and get some steps. Melt Ice Cream nearby was a treat.

My 300th review goes to Sundance Square! I especially enjoy spending time here during the holidays. I love Christmas trees and their annual grand tree just warms my holiday spirit. The strung lights over the water fountains adds to the festive atmosphere. They even have Santa at the stage area for picture taking. Speaking of picture taking, you've got to take one with the tree! And be prepared for people asking you to take pictures for them. I always happily oblige when asked. You're helping a family, friends, or couples capture a special moment. I take this task seriously and enjoy seeing their faces light up when they see their pic. Starbucks is on the Square for your hot drinks to keep you warm or ice cold drinks for warmer weather. Which, is also a nice time to enjoy the Square. Great for a family outing, hanging out with friends, or nice date night. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. My friends and take our desserts to go and enjoy it leisurely on the Square and people watch. It's a great hangout place right in the middle of downtown Fort Worth!

If you end up at WHBM, I'll mention that their store manager Karina is the sweetest salesperson you could ask for. If you're ever in the area I'd definitely recommend stopping here! While several of the stores do cater to somewhat more mature customers, it's a great place for TCU students too; stores like Anthropologie and Free People immediately come to mind. Even in some of these stores that normally cater to older customers (mainly WHBM) I've found some cute items that might be appropriate for something like a sorority function; don't be afraid to have an open mind. Also, several of the clothing stores here seem trans- and GNC-friendly in my experience. As mentioned above I've had great experiences with WHBM, but Ann Taylor, Chico's (sister brand to WHBM), Madewell, Anthropologie, and Free People also felt welcoming as well.

Last year, they had computer issues and asked us to move our appointment time after we had already arrived with the kids dressed and ready. We understand that things happen, but having to waste an extra hour with little ones in full Easter outfits was incredibly frustrating. Fast forward to this year, and somehow the experience was even more disappointing. We scheduled our appointment for 11:30 and arrived early at 11:15 with our whole crew ready to go, only to walk into complete chaos. They were unable to print pictures, had staff on speakerphone asking for help, and were checking families in in a way that came across as rude and unprofessional. The first appointment of the day took nearly an hour just to receive their prints and leave, which immediately backed everything up. What was most frustrating was seeing walk-ins taken before scheduled appointments while staff appeared to still be setting up on Easter weekend. Again, we understand that technical issues happen, but the lack of preparation, professionalism, and communication made this a really disappointing experience for our family. What started as a tradition is now something we're seriously reconsidering for next year.

One area that remains the same is the area surrounding the movie theater. I remember my first theater experience here watching the motion picture Aladdin. I'm glad the mall remains open and has kept some of its original charm. Sadly, many malls are having a hard time staying afloat. During my two hour visit, I experienced quite a bit. First I'll start with the least enjoyable parts. When I first walked in, I immediately noticed a woman at the lower-level sports bar and grill wearing a thong and a shirt. Not a short skirt, like her coworker only a thong. It's definitely not what I expected to see after returning for the first time in five years. She quickly moved out of view when she noticed my reaction, but it still left a strong first impression. As I headed up the escalator, I was approached by staff from La Perla handing out menus and trying to guide me into their restaurant. The same thing happened as I walked through the food court. I wouldn't call it a bad experience, but it did feel a bit overwhelming as my first encounter upon entering the upper-level of the mall. From my experience working in a mall, I've noticed food court staff often offer samples, which I think is a more inviting way to attract customers. A small taste can go a long way, when a restaurant wants to acquire new customers and grow their clientele. I read reviews regarding the food court establishments beforehand, and many mentioned rude service, overpriced and subpar food. It would have been nice to try good authentic Mexican cuisine rather than the usual Tex-Mex I tend to eat. I did stop by Mr. Churro, where I enjoyed a cup of ice cream fully loaded with toppings of my choice. Next, while shopping at Burlington and Ross, I noticed loss prevention stationed at the entrances. Having my bag checked and showing my receipt felt a bit uncomfortable, but I understand it's become a common practice to prevent stealing. Another unexpected moment happened while I was shopping. A young toddler suddenly balled up his fist hitting my shopping bag like it was a punching bag. His mother told him to stop but didn't apologize. Later, I saw him hitting his mother repeatedly while she did nothing to correct the behavior, which was uncomfortable to witness. On a more positive note, I really enjoyed the vibrant cultural atmosphere of the plaza. The beautiful quinceañera dresses, crowns, bouquets, and accessories are stunning. The cowboy boots, hats, and western attire also stood out to me. There's a center stage for performances, a creatively designed Dino plaza, and several eye catching displays that make for great photo opportunities. Overall, I had a great time and would come back on a weekday when it's less crowded to enjoy the many food court options and shops.
