The professionalism of the technicians really stood out, and I want to give a special shoutout to Kannah, who did a wonderful job on my pedicure--gentle, thorough, and so kind throughout the entire service. Yes, it's on the pricier side, but honestly? I am a 70-something with fine and now thinning hair, so cutting it well is not easy. Nancy did great! Collarbone length. The color was spot on. Also, as it turns out, she has Bear Island roots, and she knew all my neighbors. Best, because of her lake background, she really gets what the weather, wind, sun, and water can do to your hair. In fact, as she told me, "Lake hair don't care."

Changing colorists can be stressful and these two ladies were careful to match my color and product exactly. I was further impressed my little touches of comfort like and hand/arm massage while my color set and a neck massage during my hair wash. First problem was that you don't get the entire 90 minutes of massage. I thought it was weird that I was in my car leaving at the time of the end of the massage. I asked and she said I was all set, as she counts the time you undress/dress before and after the massage. Which I think should have been made clear. I also stepped in dog poop once when getting off the table. She did not apologize or give me a tissue. When I asked for certain areas to be worked on during the massage she would say yes, then look at the clock. She would wait until later in the session to work that area again for me. It wasn't fun since I was in pain and that's why I asked for more work in that area. So, I guess she likes to do cookie cut massage session instead of the what the client wants. Plan on lots of yawning from her (as it always felt like she would rather be anywhere else) and a very dirty room/bathroom. I'd be leery of mentioning that the room temperature isn't right for you, she screamed at me when I mentioned that I was hot. I should have left a long time ago, but I needed work in order to keep working. Next time I'll pay attention to the red flags better and realize it's better to drive farther for a friendly and customer service-oriented practitioner

Friendly, professional, and calming. Great massage with my manicure and pedicure. I was on vacation so had no other plans for the day. I have tried to give this place numerous visits and every time I leave mostly disappointed. The…read morelast visit from a week ago has solidified that I will no longer patronize this establishment. I went to go get a pedicure a week ago. I asked for a spa pedicure, which is supposed to include "extra Massage". They really don't take time to clean up the nail bed and things like that. I usually overlook all of these things because at least the nail polish ends up lasting. This last visit however, the nail polish was absolutely junk and started chipping a few days after I got the pedicure. When I went back to request a polish change, the person helping me when I walked in assumed I was there for a full pedicure. When I explained that I was not there for a full pedicure, they changed their minds and told me they did not have time to take me and to come back in an hour. I've lived in the area for at least three years, and have been struggling to find a quality nail salon that will not overcharge me and will also do a good job. This place isn't it.
