If the person we interacted with tonight is the owner of this location, I can confidently say Sundance Spas in Amherst, NH won't be in business in a few more years. The level of un-professionalism my wife, myself, and daughter experienced tonight was shocking--so much so that I'm still in disbelief. How this individual manages to sell any hot tubs is beyond me. We visited Sundance Spas for the first time today, on January 16th at 5:30 PM. We wanted to see the Sundance Cameo in person after weeks of serious research. We're ready to purchase a luxury hot tub, and we very easily may have purchased this one tonight if the experience was 100% different. When we arrived, the store was completely empty despite the lights being on and the door open (they close at 6 PM). After walking around awkwardly for over five minutes, someone finally emerged from the back. He didn't introduce himself at all. He just gave us a "hey" and walked over. He was tall, older, with spiked gray hair and an arrogant, annoyed demeanor. I've done my research, so I knew most of the details about the Cameo already. However, I had a few specific questions about the spacing, depth, and warranty that I wanted clarified. Unfortunately, this man clearly wasn't in the mood to provide answers or even basic customer service. When my daughter sat in the tub and couldn't reach the headrest, (which he looked annoyed she was even doing so and made sure to tell her to take her shoes off), I jokingly mentioned we might need a hot tub booster seat for her. His response was a sarcastic "I guess ...." I then asked about the warranty of the steel frames and he said, "10 years." My wife followed up, asking if he knew why it was only 10 years, and he snidely replied, "What, you need more?" He then added, "How do I know? You'd have to call corporate, I don't make them". The way this came out too was so rude sounding. That surprised us...my wife and I looked at each other like "what was that" lol From there I said something along the lines of: "I'm getting some bad vibes here, so I think we're going to leave now. We came in ready to possibly buy this Cameo, just had a few questions, but apparently you're not interested in selling it. So, we started to walk out and I said "Have a good night"....He quickly replied..."Sensitive, huh?" LOL I laughed in disbelief and was about to turn around to respond but my wife stopped me. I have to say...I'm SO glad we visited this store, because it saved us from a long-term headache dealing with this dealer. We were literally prepared to spend the $18,500 cash tonight on this. But what this guy for some crazy reason doesn't understand is that for a family making an investment like this, they don't just look at the product, they look at the experience, as once you buy the tub, you will be tied to that that dealer. The relationship matters more than the hot tub, since they perform the service for next 10x or more years. Here's my FREE advice to the Owner/Management of Sundance Spas in Amherst NH. If this gentleman is a salesman...fire him...he is going to sink your business. If this gentleman is the owner...get into a non-cusomer service business, because you are not cut out for this. If you are the owner and do want some real advice, here it is: Start by developing a customer-first culture. Greet your customers with a smile. Introduce yourself. Shake their hands. Ask how you can help them and provide thoughtful answers to their questions. This is basic customer experience. When you show genuine care for your customers, your business will thrive naturally. People will be so impressed with your service that they'll leave glowing reviews without being asked. In the hot tub industry, it's not just about the product--it's about building relationships that span generations. To potential customers: do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Sundance Spa owner 11 months. the 680 series started to over heat. What they do not tell you......Sundance Spas does not honor any warranty directly from the consumer. you are SOL if you call for help. What they will tell you is that your waranty is valid only through the vendor you bought it from and no other dealer will honor the warranty. if your vendor has no service techs available then you have a broken spa as stated from the tech at Sundance Spas web site, "nobody will work on it. they made no money from the sell". DO NOT BUY A SUNDANCE SPA unless u are sure your seller can service it. read more

Service dept is nonexistent. I have tried twice to get them to service my Sundance spa that came with a house I bought. In January the told me to "Call back in the summer, we are busy". Ok?.....So I did, no response. Only reason it's not 1 star is the showroom is pretty nice. But good luck getting them to service one of their tubs. On to the next guy! read more

I have replaced the control panel board TWICE in only FIVE years at a cost of over $1,000 each time. When asked Sundance says sorry only guaranteed 6 months each time. Sundance further chimed in "things just aren't made like they used to be so they wear out faster" Gee really? But your prices have more than tripled!!! Going to the junk yard now. Today I went into Sundance spa in Merrimack to get some information about hot tubs, since we are looking to purchase within the next week or so. The owner of this business treated me so rudely, I was actually scared he would get violent. After walking in and waiting about 45 seconds, neither of the two staff on the floor acknowledged our presence, so I asked "is there anyone who can answer some questions?" The man who was at the desk alone was who I was addressing, but it was the other guy engaged in conversation with other customers who approached me and said "well we dont believe in shoving it down customers throats." His tone was a bit pressured, so I replied, "You mean that's what I'm doing?" He said "yeah". I was shocked and responded that perhaps we should shop elsewhere, and he agreed. As we were walking to our car, he followed us out and began videoing us and our car and plates. We exchanged a few words, and he told us he was the owner. All the while he videoed us as if we had done something wrong. This man began to make me feel violated and threatened me. Not to our surprise, when we went to another hot tub store and told them what had just happened, they said they heard simular complaints from other customers. Purchased a brand new tub from them middle of 2021, delivered end of 2021. Dealing with mark and his team in the beginning was very easy and they were very helpful during the purchase process. Fast forward to summer 2022 I had a problem with my tub (still under warranty) and required service. I had to call multiple times to even get someone from service to call me back to schedule someone to come out, I kept getting told they were busy. Took almost two weeks to just get a call back to schedule the service. I asked and confirmed multiple times with mark that everything would be covered under warranty and there would be nothing owed by me. About a week after scheduling the appointment a technician came out and was very nice and fixed the issue, needed a new temperature sensor. I asked if this is normal since at that time the tub wasn't even a year old. I was assured it wasn't normal for that to happen and I was all set. This service was 7 months after delivery. As the tech was leaving he said there was a $150 travel fee for him coming out. I explained I was told no charge because this was under warranty. The technician even said normally the travel fee is waived in cases like yours bc of how close the issue was to delivery date. He asked if he would like him to call the owner mark and inquire about the fee which I agreed to. While he was doing that I called Sundance directly and spoke with a rep who said it is normal practice for dealers to charge a travel fee on warranty calls but that $150 seemed high to them; they directed me to the warranty card and it did show a travel fee could be charged. I was upset bc this felt like a surprise fee. The tech came back and said mark said the fee stands but if I would like to speak with him separately I could call in a payment later. I agreed. I emailed mark my concerns on 7/19/22 and received no email back. I did call twice and was told a message would be left for mark to call back but never got a call back so I assumed mark withdrew the bill. I specially stated in the email I am not saying I refuse to pay but I would like to discuss with him my concerns. Fast forward till a month ago. Again my tub is spitting out error codes in the winter. First noticed was on a Sunday, I call on Monday and explain the issue. Mark actually answered and took my information down and said service would call most likely by end of day or Wednesday latest; I inquired about the error code and if this would be covered and he said yea. No call come Wednesday. Call Thursday and was assured I would get a call by Friday to schedule service, nothing. I call on Tuesday of the next week and told they are busy but that they have my information. I wait until the following week to follow up and get a Nathan on the phone. Nathan puts me on hold. Says he can't find my account. I said that's odd mark took all my info down two weeks ago and assured me I would get a call. Nathan started mumbling and said they just closed my account and would no longer do warranty work on my tub. I was shocked and asked him to repeat. I said why didn't you tell me this 2+ weeks ago when I requested service and he said I dunno but it looks like that charge was never addressed. I said I called multiple times and emailed mark directly about that months previous with no response and that I would have no problem addressing the bill if I spoke with mark. He said "I don't know what to tell you man" so I asked to speak with mark and was told he wasn't there. I called Sundance directly and had to get permission to have my warranty/service switched to another dealer. Sundance even explained to me that that branch can't refuse you warranty coverage as you purchased from them. I filed a complaint direct with the manufacturer and the rep said she would add it to the other complaints they have received about this dealer. I had the other dealer come out within 4 days and they fixed the issue. After mark and this Sundance get your money they don't want to standby their product. Would not recommend them. read more

The Sundance Spa that we bought has been good. We've had it for about 7 years. We had the lights go out and it was under warranty and they fixed it. When you get a spa, you can expect the cover to require replacement every 3 or so years. The fabric they use just cracks in the sun, ice, and snow ... I had hoped it would last 5 years but I get it. We live in a tough place for hot tub covers. However, here is where I have a problem. The owner at the Merimac NH store is rude and condescending. We didn't buy our spa from him personally but from one of his employees, who was great. But later, as we bought our covers, we seemed to end up with him. We purchased our latest cover at the start of Covid 19 (Feb? Mar?) and expected some delay. We also purchased a new arm for lifting the cover. All was supposed to be delivered for free. The arm came in and they delivered it free as per their sales pitch. The cover did not come in on schedule. There was a delay. Okay, we're reasonable. How long? "3 weeks more," they said. After 4 weeks, my wife called. "3 weeks more," they said again. We waited again and then again until finally, the owner gets on the phone and starts shouting at my wife. "We don't know! It's Covid! They never should have shut down the economy!" and goes on this semi-political rant that no one would really care about especially my wife. If you don't know, say you don't know and stop telling us "3 weeks more!" So, the cover finally came in and this owner guy tells us that it is $175 to deliver it. What??? He's obstinate. He's a jerk and I can think of some other names. So, we drove over and entered the store. It's a nice store. We're wearing masks ... well, we don't know these people, we should wear a mask. How do we know where they've been? They have no masks. They have no social distancing. He was talking to a prospective customer and wow, was he turning on the charm with them! It was all so two-faced. A woman helped us get our cover and she was pretty nice. We won't be going back. There are many hot tub manufacturers out there and there are many facilities that sell them. Even though our spa is pretty good, I'd still recommend you go somewhere else than the Sundance Spa store in Milford, NH. read more

I bought a Sundance Optima 880 from here about seven years ago. I haven't had a single thing go wrong with it, and whenever I have had a maintenance question the guys have been very helpful and generous with their time. One of the guys lives in my town and when I needed a new frame for the cover (which I bent one winter by opening it with way too much ice stuck to it)he even saved me a trip to Merrimack by dropping it off on his way home. If you maintain your water chemistry, which is trivially easy and cheap, these things are built to last a lifetime. They are beautiful and they stay that way. I changed the water a few weeks ago and posted a picture of the empty spa on Facebook and got endless compliments on how gorgeous it was. There is a lot of garbage out there for sale. Don't be fooled by cheap prices, you get what you pay for. I use my spa daily, year@ -round, and I do it without fretting over it breaking down. That's worth the money to buy the best. read more

We visited Sundance last weekend after researching different spas and visiting several other spa/hot tub dealers in the weeks previous. When you are going to be making a large purchase you want to make sure you are getting exactly what you want right? We walked into the showroom and we're greeted nicely and told if we had any questions feel free to ask. We perused for a while without anyone over our shoulders or lurking about, giving us time to speak with each other without being in earshot of the salesperson. We loved the "no pressure" approach. When we did have questions Marc (turns out he's the owner) came right over. He was incredibly helpful and informative. We really liked that it is a family owned business. Both Marc and his wife were in the showroom. Marc spend almost an hour with us, answering questions on different tubs and functions. We were able to sit in each tub to see how the seats would feel etc. We did purchase a tub from Marc and we are glad we did! We would definitely recommend Marc at Sundance Spas if you are in the market for a hot tub/spa or sauna. read more

Don't waste your time! Absolutely HORRENDOUS customer service. First off, we walk in to the larger gentleman with the glasses behind the counter giving us attitude right off the bat. He was rude, Condescending and talked down to us the entire time! just left a bad taste in our mouth. There 5 mins and we were already ready to walk out. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. If you're in the market for a spa, like I said, don't waste your time! We went to oasis spas down the road and they were worlds better! Can't say enough good things about our experience with Sundance Spas in Nashua. Purchased a Sundance Optima from the owner (can't remember his name) back in March after going to 6 other spa dealers in the Quechee, VT area. They could not have made the purchase easier! We called a number of times with questions before delivery, they warehoused the spa for a number of months before our property was ready, and delivered exactly when I asked. The delivery was very professional and they took great care of the property and the spa. After installation we continued to have a number of questions and they were always very responsive and polite. Maybe you can save a buck or two going somewhere else, but I don't think you can beat the service and responsiveness. read more

Bought a hot tub from them and after 2 years we had to replace a pump at the cost of $600.00, we have also had to replace jets at almost 150.00. The Edison is nice but their warranty sucks. They are not customer friendly once they get your money. I would never but from them again. read more
