In our quest to find rental clothing, we came across Mountain Threads and Jared, and I am absolutely certain that it made our ski experience that much better. Jared was responsive, helpful, and kind - both on the phone and in person. He opened the shop early to accommodate our ski time - which was incredible - and $40 for all of the rental wear was a solid price. Easily a 10/10 - you won't go wrong here!

I believe a helmet could have been included, but the ski park included a helmet in their equipment package. I would recommend Mountain Threads without hesitation.

That wasn't done here so this feels fair to me. My best friend and I went into the north location on June 3rd, my bday, to try to find something cute to wear. I had a baby and nothing fits me anymore. I was so excited to find a cute pair of black Free People overalls that were comfy, short and fit my mom bod. I tried them on and got them with a credit that I had. We then went to my sister's house, there were a group of us there for my birhday, and everyone was so excited about my find. I tried them on again to show everyone but when I took them off I was HORRIFIED to find vaginal dishcharge inside of the pants that I had just purchased and now had tried on twice. It was not a small amount and it was not from since I was wearing panties and it was DRY. I was so disgusted and upset, it was a buzz kill on my birthday, it is so gross! I called right away and explained the situation. Whoever I spoke to acted like they were mortified. I explained the situation, that I had alread taken the tags off and that I did not live close by. I was reasured that I could bring the pants in and get my cedit back when I had a chance. I asked if I needed anything, if they needed my name or would put a note on file. I was told not to worry about anything. My mom, best friend, my husband and sister all heard the call because it was on speaker. I know one of us has a picture of the pants and tag which we will find, I do have a screenshot of the call made that day. My sister washed the pants for me because I was not okay with having them around my daughter. Once clean, I kept them in the car until I had a chance to go. Well, the north location that I went to is closed so I waited until I was near the Littleton location, which was today. I don't live by either. I was told that because I don't have the tag and it was in June that the owner said that I could not have my credit, which goes against what I was told on the call infront of a bunch of people. I am mad because it was their responsibility to check that outfit before it went out and someone else's dry bodily fluids touched me, twice! To be told that this would be made right on the phone and not have that honored today is wrong. We all know that they probably paid a few bucks for the overalls at most. They can easily see that I purchased them on June 3rd. They couldn't make a really disgusting situaiton right over a few bucks and that to me shows a complete lack of integrity. The fact that I was sold an outfit in that condition shows a lack of integrity. This review was earned on my birthday. I should have just done this then and posted the pics. Now I am going to tell anyone and everyone that will listen because it's gross and it is bad business.

After working retail, clearance is my best friend; as a plus sized customer, Maurice's clearance is not. I'm not sure who's idea it was to jam the few plus size pieces in with the standard sizes in clearance, and I'm not sure why it was allowed. Even thrift stores have the convenience of separating their extended sizes from the rest. The regular priced areas are always extremely tidey, and you're bound to find at least two pieces you can't leave the store without.

Things here are a bit more cozy, clothes are slightly more traditional, and it's not as fast-paced. You can tell the staff really care about their customers. I've been working with trainers on my new service dog. (We still have our original dog too) in he just completed the Colorado K-9 Federal/Prison training program. Ok that's my back story..... I am now able to go to stores (my husband is still in the store) shop by myself with no anxiety, fear, PTSD panic episodes. Now for Walmart: we are greeted in a very friendly manner when we arrive. Employees say hello to me, I am not self conscious or fearful that the store is angry. I want to thank Walmart for the kind treatment and respect I am given. We actually find reasons to shop there.
