The best ice cream and water ice ever! The price is a little high but I think it's worth it. They have so many flavors. I get the mint choc chip ice cream with chocolate jimmies. My friend always gets the double choc chip water ice which is his favorite. The other flavors that are good are baileys water ice and the peanut choc water ice. I've been coming here for ages and they never dissapoint! They have about a billion flavors..including sugar free and fat free, but best of all is their fat free frozen yogurt - I had to check with them multiple times before I believed it was fat free. It's a staple summer treat for me and my family. Super creamy and they can put it in a gelati for you too...Speaking of which, they also have the most amazing Peach Mango water ice - puts Rita's to shame!!! Definitely try it out. It also has a super homey old school ice cream parlor feel since its family owned. We stopped here after a visit to Digger-land. Solid ice cream joint with a great mix of flavors and options. I had the Peanut Butter Fudge water ice which was delicious. Prices are great as well. Will visit again when we are back in the area for sure! read more

Okay, so I've literally gone to Sundaes since it opened and I loved it. There is no doubt that the water ice and ice cream is delicious, but the service is horrible and gets worst every year. Recently, my orders have been wrong and I never said anything (because I use the drive thru and I'm half way down 73 before I notice its wrong). The one and only time I asked for an incorrect order to be corrected Sundaes refused. To make matters worst, it was one of the owners that refused to issued a correct order. I really do love to support family owned and operated business and I loved Sundaes's ice cream, but I refuse to support a business with such poor customer service. If you don't care about service or being treated with respect then go here, otherwise if you prefer a nice ice cream experience keep it moving!! read more

I grew up in Berlin, NJ unfortunately but what isn't unfortunate about Berlin is Sundae's. They unquestionably have the best ice cream I've ever had...puts Ben and Jerry's to shame. They have the 2nd best water ice I've ever had next to Italiano's in South Philly, but their water ice is different anyway so it's tough to compare. Their peanut butter fudge water ice is one of the most incredible things I've ever eaten in my life. The fat free frozen yogurt is made with Yoohoo. It's out of this world and the best fat free fro yo you'll ever taste. If you're in Berlin for any reason on a summer day then stop here. read more

Great Ice cream, sub par servers. At our recent visit to sundaes in Berlin, we went ahead and ordered 3 items from one of the girls behind the counter, she promptly asked us if it was for here or to go, as to which we replied "to go". She then went ahead to get our ice cream and returned with them as if we were eating there, with no lids on the container. A simple mistake which could have been corrected effortlessly and which we were not troubled by at all. However the girl behind the counter made it obvious we were wasting her time and deliberately rolled her eyes and was kind enough to make a comment about her current customers (us) to one of her coworkers. The comment was not needed nor appreciated. Especially for something as simple as putting lids on ice cream and bagging it to go. (Like we had asked for originally). Other than that the ice cream was great as usual, but we will be thinking twice as to where we go next time for dessert. read more

I used to love Sundaes like it was my job when I was little. But over time they've just gotten worse and worse. The last couple of experiences I've had left me wanting to wait til the next summer to have it again, if that. If you order an ice cream that hasn't been ordered in a while, it'll taste a little chalky. So just stick with the typical and save your mouth the experience. They've also raised their prices by a lot in the last couple of years, so not my favorite place, but still worth a summer night visit. read more

Tons of choices and the neatest drive-thru design ever. I stick with the radio ball, regular sized. The large is gigantic. The vanilla bing cherry is perfect. The cherries and thick and fresh and never frozen. It pairs so divinely with the Bailey's Irish Cream water ice. It's a cream water ice so you're in for a chilled treat. By far one of the best ice cream spots in the area! I live about 20 minutes away but nothing compares to Sundaes! They have very cool sounding ice cream flavors such as "Thunder Road" and "Sympathy for the Devil." Their water ice is also very good. My girlfriend always gets the coconut. They also have a sign inside that talks about the health benefits of ice cream! It is a little pricey for just ice cream, but it is well worth it! read more

First the plain coconut got about 20% sweeter, so I started buying the coconut chocolate chip. I had it the other night and ugh!!!! It was inedible.
