Anyway we went to Playa Bowls at the pick up time and our order was nowhere near ready. My son told us we were at least three orders away from them working on ours. When we finally got our bowls at 10 AM the bases were soupy and melty. The fruit quality was delicious but the base should not be soupy. The problem is that one worker set up the bowls while someone else finished the fruit-toppings, etc. they were busy and obviously can't handle the volume. Consequently our bowls suffered in the process. I think for the three bowls my son spent close to 50$. I noticed the other day I was there that there really wasn't a sense of urgency by the people behind the counter to complete orders either. I might be finished with playa bowls this trip. We'll see. I still love the vibe and the food- I would've liked a better experience- I guess I got spoiled all those other times.
