If you're craving soft serve in Avalon, this is the place to go. Even though there might be a long line, the line moves very quickly since the options are limited (in a good way!). You have your choice of vanilla, chocolate, or twist ice cream and a few rotating flavors of frozen yogurt. There are several options of specialty cones (including cookie and pretzel) as well as many options for toppings. My go-to is a twist in a cone with rainbow jimmies (yes, not sprinkles - we're in NJ!). This never ceases to disappoint. Our family favorite ice cream place for over a generation. My son waits all year to come to Avalon for the chocolate shakes. I prefer the vanilla shakes. The ice cream tastes perfect, and the consistency is much better than anywhere else.
