Thanks to Elizabeth Gaffney PA-C, I am now free of my second melanoma. She found a spot no bigger than the period at the end of this sentence. Dr. Ewanowski excised the lesion and now the stitches are gone and NO melanoma. The complete staff from check-in thru the exam were very friendly, professional and caring. On March 26th, I had an appointment with Dr. Abrouk to have the stitches removed from my leg biopsy.  He prescribed medication for scarring. Dr. Abrouk asked if there was anything else I needed assistance with. I asked him to examine the puffiness under my eyes.  Dr. Abrouk said he would prescribe Tretinoin compound medication.  He said put a thin layer under my eyes.  I received the medication in the mail, I sent him a message on the patient portal asking if he could confirm the medication and how to use it, he did. On the second day, my eyes began to burn, I was in excruciating pain. My tears were burning my skin. I tried to contact Dr. Michael Abrouk, via patient portal and phone, but he didn't respond. I made an appointment with my primary care doctor and was told that I had a chemical burn. My eyes were red, and my skin swollen and distorted around my eyes. I was prescribed an ointment to help the pain. I made a follow up appointment with Dr Abrouk, I now have new dark marks, blurry vision and swollen eyes. Dr. Abrouk said I had an allergic reaction, but I could use the same medication he prescribed for my face to help clear up the dark marks on my leg. If I'm allergic to it, then I should not be using it at all. During the visit he made me feel very uncomfortable as he kept touching my leg when there was no reason as this visit was for my eyes, which really disturbed me. I had three different doctors confirm that I have a chemical burn on my face and that this medication is never to be used under the eyes. I believe Dr. Abrouk's lack of care for my issues concerning the area under my eyes and his inappropriate touching of my leg was deeply disturbing. My primary doctor referred me to another dermatologist, and I was told that I have a chemical burn and Tretinoin medication is never ever to be used under your eyes. I am currently taking additional medication, anabiotic's to help repair the damage under my eyes. My face is still swollen, I would not recommend Dr.Michael Abrouk to anyone. His lack of knowledge and compassion is appalling. I will never trust him with any issue I have.  He should never have touched me anywhere that was not an area of concern. I thought this ordeal was over, however, after checking my Patient Portal I discovered Dr. Abrouk had added another prescription.  I called the office but could not get through for several days, so I decided to go to the office and ask my questions about the prescription.  One of the nurses took my information and said she would be back in a moment.  She came back 25 minutes later and said she was not able to get an answer as to why the new medication was loaded to the portal.  I requested she call me once she spoke to Dr. Abrouk, however, it took two weeks for me to get a response. This is indicative of the lack of professionalism of this office. I would not recommend Dr. Abrouk to anyone.  Because of Dr. Abrouk, I now must see a Dermatologist to correct the new issues under my eyes and an Ophthalmologist as I have blurry vision and the area under my eyes is still swollen. Dr. Abrouk is the worst physician I have ever encountered for several reasons; poor judgement, unprofessionalism and no empathy for his patients are just to name a few. Let me start by saying I have never 'reviewed' a doctors office, but this place has zero respect for time. I went to the N. Dale Mabry office in December 2024 for to have a few spots looked at, this office was GREAT. Eric Moreno saw me on time and took two biopsies. He said they would send them to the lab and let me know if either spot was cancerous. About two weeks later the office called me and said one spot on my hand was cancerous and needed to be removed, we set an appointment with Dr. Christopher Ewanowski (I have been told he owns the practice and is the 'surgeon') at the Van Dyke office in Lutz. The appointment was set for 11:30AM on April 14, 2025, I arrived at 11:15, did the 'paperwork' on the provided iPad, paid my required amount (receipt shows payment at 11:20AM), and sat down. At noon, 30 minutes after scheduled appointment, I inquired of how much longer it would be, they receptionist indicated I would be seen shortly. At 12:15 I inquired again and she said that it will be 'awhile longer' as there were several clipboards ahead of me; I decided I needed to reschedule the appointment. When rescheduling I asked if I could an early appointment, they said the only thing they have is July 7, 2025 (today) at 12:30PM. I arrived today at 12:15PM, the receptionist was busy checking out a patient, greeted me, and said she would be right with me, I waited. A few minutes later she 'checked me in' and I asked her about the wait time (based on my last experience on April 14), she said unfortunately there are several clipboards (4+) before you and I do not know how long it will be, but it will be at least an hour (additionally she asked someone that I could not see in the office how long it would be and I heard this person say 'there is no way to tell'). I asked to reschedule it, AGAIN, this time for first thing in the morning because it is obvious that they run behind; her answer to me was 'the only time(s) available are 12:30PM', I asked why couldn't I come in earlier (I was willing to come in at 7:00AM if it was available). The answer I was given is that it is a larger / more complicated spot so that is when we can see you; you would think that if it is a more complicated removal you would do it first thing in the morning, guess not. Needless to say I am frustrated with Suncoast Skin Solutions. read more

I made an appointment a few weeks ago to see Kendall Melendi. Booked online. Received two notifications to confirm the appointment, which I did. Left work and arrived a few minutes early. An hour later was still not seen. I was never advised how long it would be or why I was not seen. Suncoast Skin Solutions charges a fee if clients don't show up on time but expect to be able to cancel or move your appointment without notice. Kendall Melendi's lack of professionalism and basic courtesy is disappointing. I now have wasted my entire morning, used time away from work, and have not been seen for an appointment. I now have to make another appointment waiting several more weeks. If Kendall treats patients like this in order to see her, I can't imagine what her behavior would be like once I get in. Kendall Melendi never apologized or gave a reason why I was not seen. I would not recommend Suncoast Solutions or Kendall Melendi. Her God complex is off the charts, especially considering she is not even a doctor. The U.S. medical system is such a challenge and having bad actors like this reinforces how badly patients are treated when they seek care. I hope if Kendall Melendi ever needs medical assistance, she is treated better than the way she handles people. No one deserves to be disrespected like tis especially patients. read more

Dr. Mehta is an awesome doctor. I had a small cyst and it was remove in 10 minutes. The doctor's assistant was great and Dr. Mehta explained everything and it was painless. The staff and office people are always polite and helpful. If you are looking for a great dermatologist place I highly recommend this office. read more

I highly recommend Suncoast (Lutz location). Dr. Ewanowski and his crew are professional, helpful and competent. I had a lipoma on my forehead that has bugged me for the past twenty years or so... and I finally decided to get rid of it. Made an appointment, and went in. They examined it... agreed it was a lipoma, and scheduled outpatient surgery for it about three months out. Finally the time came, and they removed it. Great staff (Jordan was with me the whole time, and was wonderful). I was used for training... and that was fine, they all did a great job. Basically painless, and fairly quick procedure. Won't leave hardly any scarring, nicely done sutures, and not even any bruising of the area. Naturally I had some post surgical edema in the general area that lasted a couple of days... but that is pretty normal. Got stitches out a week later... and while I don't think this made me any prettier, at least I don't have that knot on my forehead. Like I said... highly recommended! read more

Avoid this place if you value your time and don't want to contract a skin disease. I had an appointment to see Xuan de La Torre. After a 20 minute wait in the lobby, the technician insisted that I sit on a wet seat, even after telling her that it was still wet. After I declined to sit on the wet seat she adopted a rude and confrontational attitude. I sat in the exam room for over an additional 30 minutes without anyone notifying me that there would be further delays. Despite employees casually walking by the room. The excuse given was they were behind schedule because of dermatology "emergencies." There's a hospital 1/4mi. away. A patient that showed up after me was already checking out, and I had not even been seen or checked in on. I also question the cleanliness of this place as an open jar of petroleum jelly had someone else's hair in it. Which they intended to use on patients. read more

Xuan is the reason I come here! She is extremely knowledgeable and professional, while providing compassionate care. She does beautiful aesthetics and is so quick with her injections. Parking is really limited at this site, especially towards the end of the day. I would advise giving yourself at least 10 extra minutes for parking. The office staff are always welcoming and the office is super clean. Calling for appointments and getting through can be tedious, but they are good about returning calls and filling prescriptions. i got there and was not impressed with the lady at the desk attitude and wanted me to sign some kind of thing saying i would pay 50 dollars today so i declined and that ended that. she said it would not be today and about the 3rd or 4th time asked me why i was so rude , when i felt she was so i said have a good day and left. between Medicare and united health i never have to pay anything and ain't paying them anything. i have no idea why my doctor sent me there in the first place and she said her doctor might know. i see reviews saying informative and i guess that is when she has you stand there while she sells some skin cream to someone. read more

This place is wonderful! I had the pleasure of receiving Botox from Beatrix at SunCoast Skin Solutions. Her work ethic and professionalism were what combatted my nervousness (my first experience). She was calming and beyond kind which was fantastic but she is also a perfectionist and that is why I knew I was in good hands. I am over the moon about the results!! The doctor I see is attentive and I have seen improvements with my condition. I would recommend on that front. I gave only four stars because their billing is not always accurate. I've had a few occasions when they tried to charge me the wrong copay. At one point, I had no copay and was asked to pay "my" $30 copay. When I told her that I don't have a copay, the woman cheerfully said, "Okay, that's fine." I was recently overcharged by about $80. Thankfully I checked my EOB when it came in, so I got a refund. I would recommend this office, but it would be nice to know that I'm not being overcharged. Check your EOBs :-) read more

Their offices are clean and modern (except the office close to USF). Only criticism is that it took them 3 months to schedule a procedure to remove skin cancer from my face. Needless to say, my spot grew during that time and was considerably larger than expected when they removed it. read more

First time here and the staff was very friendly, welcoming and caring. I went into see Dr. Swan for some spots on my forehead and she found a dark spot on my left shoulder. She did a biopsy and NO PAIN! She was very caring and has a great bedside manner, especially with my anxiety. Her assistant was also very sweet and kind. She was excellent and showed a very caring personality. Really appreciated her and Dr. Swan for her knowledge. I would definitely recommend this place, the staff, and Dr. Swan. The Staff was very friendly and inviting. I went for IPL full face facial therapy with Rochelle. Numbing cream made this procedure tolerable with only minimal discomfort. I love Rochelle the medical aesthetician! I've seen her for 5 microneedling treatments. She's professional, nice, encouraging and helps make the torture as comfortable as possible. My skin has become more clear, pore size has decreased; and some fine lines have softened. It's definitely not a drastic change but it's been wonderful to see an improvement in my skin. Even in my low 40s I get pimples and blackheads. It was a splurge but I'm glad I tried it. On occasion, the office has some special packages and discounted prices. I took advantage of it. I normally go to their Bruce B Downs location for my skin checks and Botox. This is the only location for an aesthetician service. She's very busy so expect to book out several weeks or months. The office staff are friendly and welcoming. The wait time here isn't too long like the other location where I receive care. read more
