I ordered, blinds, shades, shutters for my entire home…read more The shutters I wanted were double hung. bottoms can close independently from the top and the top can be left open for air flow with the bottom closed for privacy. The woman who came out to take my order did not understand my request and I got window shutters that were all one piece with just the louvers able to move (there was no separation in the shutters). When I called and spoke to the owner, she understood what I wanted/requested and said since most people don't order that type of shutter her salesperson was unfamiliar with them. In order to resolve the issue, she ordered what I did want, and I had to pay the difference as they were more expensive. No concession was ever made by the owner in terms of customer service or my additional wait. In addition to the shutters being wrong, the shade I ordered for my kitchen window was the wrong size as the salesperson mis-measured. The initial order I made took over 3 months to come in and then I had to wait several more months. No concession was ever made for this either. So finally, the new shutters came in and were hung. They were exactly what I requested except they were cheap quality and there is over a 1 inch vertical gap right down the middle of the shutters. I asked the installer why there was such a large gap, and he blamed it on my window frame and made it obvious he was annoyed with my complaint. I called the owner and sent a picture and told her I was very unhappy. She basically said unless I could send her a picture of what I wanted and had in a previous home she could not help me. She also claimed to have called her manufacturers, and they all said they were unfamiliar with what I wanted. So, the end of the story, no concessions were ever made to me, no money ever refunded and I hate the shutters. I will now need to spend more money to replace the awful shutters that I have on two very large windows. They look absolutely awful.

A large mechanical blind was going to be installed because of size of window and height. After 4 years later, I started seeing sunlight peek through different areas and didn't think anything of it. Found out that the glue was deteriorating. Fast forward to November of 2025 I reached out multiples times and eventually heard back from Rob asking me to be patient as they reached out to the manufacturer to see if anything could be done. It is now middle of September 2026 and the blind has completely come away as the glue no longer held the material together. This is very disappointing as I do not know of anyone that routinely changes out their blinds every 5 years especially when the blind was around $6000. I have reached out multiples times again and my calls go into voice mail. If you are thinking about using Time for Blinds, maybe think twice. The value of work done and the customer service is not very good. I would be disappointed to see this happen to other people. If I could post a picture to see the quality of a $6000 blind and how after 4-5 years has deteriorated I would.

I had black out blinds in the bedrooms installed and panel blinds in my living room a while ago…read more It was a couple that had brought me the swatches for the honeycomb style blackouts as well as the varieties of colors for the panels too. I picked out 5 track for the panels to have the blinds open up on each side. Once fully closed, they overlap nicely. While open they aren't exactly lined up on either ends. The blackout blinds had to be broken into 2 sections due to the height of the windows, they were 8 feet tall, the solid wasn't ideal but doable. The bigger section from the start would get stuck while trying to close to the ground and will often get stuck about 2-3 inches off the ground. The panels have to be carefully closed or they will bend and fold onto each other as they close over and pass the tracks. The right side must be closed over first and then the left. Sometimes I have to fix them so they don't bend as they go over the previous panels to nicely lay as planned. The panels are a bit more money but they look cool and give a nice shading, but not too much. All told, it was under $5k. The blackouts still leave gaps to the walls and soffits.
