Jim came up with a system design that has far exceeded what I initially had in mind. My primary goal was to fully cover APSs demand charges / peak hours. After about 4 months of the system being online, we have not seen a single cent of peak/demand charges and our net bills have been a credit. This is even after unexpectedly adding a hybrid SUV that charges every day. Our setup: 17kw solar with two Tesla Powerwall 3's.
