Worst of all, there are homeless people living in the park. They broke the locks meant to keep everyone out. This is really disappointing to me. I just had open-heart surgery, and had planned on using the park equipment to aid in my recovery.

They have a full playground, with some of the largest sun shades I've seen. The rubber flooring surrounds the play structure and there is no sand anywhere. There are several benches and most appeared to be in the shade. The entire site is pretty small, but it's designed really well that it feels much larger. There are two picnic areas with tables. Some tables have built-in chess/checkers boards. One picnic area is close to the playground and the other is in the back of the park, in a more quieter space. There is also a gazebo type area, with concrete flooring, but no tables or benches. Additional highlights are the 8+ exercise machines and equipment that are scattered throughout the dirt walking path around the park. They are designed for anyone 13 and up and they use your own bodyweight, which is great. Each one has a placard with instructions on how to use it. There is also a multipurpose center, but I'm not yet sure what services they provide, other than after school care (listed on a posted flyer). The building has two unisex exterior restrooms. Outside the restrooms are two sinks, with soap and an air dryer. This is not much of a park for sports or even throwing the ball around, but there is plenty of other things to do here. It could even be a great location for birthday parties! Street parking is on Lankershim and side streets, plus they have a small lot. Check out this new find. Pack a lunch and bring the kids!

In colder seasons this pool might be too cold, but in the hot summer it is the perfect temperature to cool off and if you are swimming laps you won't overheat too quickly like some newer pools that are heated to 84 degrees for example. The pool is like the pictures and they have a big rec area to swim with the family and six lanes to swim laps. I would recommend getting to the pool at the start of the hour since they have to get everyone out of the pool at the start of the new hour. The facilities are old and probably the worst part of this pool. At the front entrance there is a cage where you can pay for your visit ($4 for adults). The Men's area is a bunch of benches for changing and there are no lockers, only mesh bags, but I wouldn't leave my stuff in there since there is no locker room attendant. The bathroom is fairly typical except the toilet stalls are a lot shorter than normal ones. The showers are not bad and it is one main pole with 5 shower heads around it. To enter the pool you also have to pass through the shower area. There is also one big handicapped stall with a shower if you want to have some privacy. One thing I did not like too much about the changing area is that there is an area that I think is meant for passing out gear if a team is to use the area and it is a window with chained fence. The only thing that stops the staff that walks in there occasionally is a curtain. It did not bother me that much, but I figured that I would mention it. I would go again, but make sure that if you go in the summer you bring sunscreen because there is not natural shade so if you stay longer than an hour protect your skin and put on sunscreen.

Yes, how else would I get to the back? She told me I had to take my clothes off and just be in my swimming suit since I wasn't planning to go in the pool with my husband and daughter. Totally fine, I did as requested. However, the issue arose with Margaret's approach. Did you pay? At the end of the day we're customers, paying to use the service and the customer service was absolutely atrocious.

I've been visiting for a year on a weekly basis. One thing to be mindful for are the horse scat droppings that some horse riders apparently are careless to pick after. I've walked during the morning, midday, afternoon, and evening time. I've felt safe during all times of day and even bring my family on weekends.

There are so many fields of grass that I believe are used for sports and then a lake that's for fishing it looks really clean and well maintained. The grass that I saw was soft and green with wildflowers, I did not see any foxtails so that's a plus! Looking across the way and seeing the actual Damn is pretty cool, it looks like a very grand structure!

But as for the park itself, it's one of the best you are going to do in North Hollywood this said of Burbank Blvd. Outside, they have a nice playground area for children, so it's good for families, and their is a nice big, open soccer field. There is also an outdoor basketball court that is fairly well taken care of. The tennis courts are pretty healthy as well, and there are two of them. On the inside, there is a basketball gym. The upkeep of the gym is definitely nice, and there is a stage as well. As for activities, they've got a pretty good list of them. They have soccer tournaments, they have basketball leagues for most age brackets, they have open bboy dancing on the stage on sundays, and they have a community workout that happens I believe on thursday nights around 7ish pm. So at those times, the tennis courts are jam packed with neighborhood moms and whatnot doing their workout routine thing. Of note, this neighborhood is primarily mexican, and as such, there are very few english speakers hanging out. The employees all are bilingual, and a lot of the neighborhood kids from my apartment go here, and most of them are bilingual. I am as well, but I only speak English and Japanese, so when Im playing basketball, tennis, or soccer with the other locals here, it's a bust as far as me knowing what the heck anyone is talking about lol. I know that my team usually just tries to give me the ball lolol. Anyway, overall, I am very happy that I have a nice place to come and shoot hoops and play tennis and soccer, and it's right next to a Starbucks, Target, and a few chicken and burger joints, so it's easy to eat or drink something right before or after as well. Our family had a great time at Woodbridge Park. Other families were present and everyone had space…read moreto romp and play. One child was skating the perimeter and others were climbing or swinging. The larger park is great for a quick jog or tiring a dog or two.
