He had a rough past, but came to us healthy and needing to be neutered before he was available for adoption. The Rescue Alliance uses Healing Hearts Mobile Vet Unit, which services animals from rescue groups and in low income areas. After calling several times I was able to take our great dane to their Mobile Vet Unit when they were in the East Valley to get neutered. I brought him in around 9:00am to a staff of 4 friendly women! They made me feel at ease. I got a call several hours later, letting me know he was ready to be picked up at noon. They helped me load him up and gave me plenty of instruction on his post surgical care. I really appreciate people that are able to help animals in need - so 5 stars for Healing Hearts!

This is a great free event over at Arrowhead Country Club off 75ave & 101. You do have to register…read morewhen you get there and then you have access to all the free active kids fun stuff. There was a huge ball to climb into and roll around, tennis from professional instructors, basketball, tug of war, bean bag racing, dancing, there was a race to see how long and far you could run, free smoothies, face painting, sponsors that gave away free beverages, and the more activities you kids did the more tickets they won and you can turn them in for prizes at the end. There was a DJ hosting the event and even got the adults involved. It goes from 9am-noon and there are events every few months, so go to their website or find them on Facebook to be added to the invitation list.

I first discovered this incredible group back in January during one of their desert tours. I was so impressed by the enthusiasm, depth of knowledge, and the fascinating discoveries shared along the way that I knew I wanted more--so signing up for Talk & Taste was an easy decision. And it did not disappoint. What stood out most was how beautifully organized the entire experience was. At each stop, passionate volunteers shared unique edible desert delights--perfectly paired with just the right amount of information to spark curiosity and leave you wanting more. A heartfelt thank you to Mimi, Diane, Abby, and the many dedicated volunteers who make this "best kept secret" so special. If you're visiting the Valley--or even if you live here--make the trip to beautiful Cave Creek and experience the desert in a way you never have before. It's an experience you'll truly cherish.

This is the first time…read moreI had visited this location and similar to other outstanding locations in the valley, this location is very well organized, clean, and well lit. I mostly focus on men's clothing, including suits, shirts, ties, and belts, and this was a excellent location for those items. This Location had an abundance of really nice suits by some really top line brands. I'm talking about finding not one but two brand new 100% cashmere suits. They also had a top notch selection of sports coats including a seersucker that I was really torn about not taking with me. I've been looking for a full seersucker suit for a while and just haven't found it yet. They have the full array of both men's and women's clothing, housewares, sporting goods, kitchen wars, etc.. They also had some furniture items, including a couple of love seats and couches. This location also had more bikes and sporting equipment then I am used to seeing. I also did some shopping for my Lady and she joined me vía FaceTime. She found the shoe section to be really lacking. But again I think their inventory was pretty depleted from the 50% off sale. Also, I noticed that this location separates women's suits into blazers and pants vs other locations in the city group women's suits together where there are full sets available. This made it near impossible for me to shop for my significant other, but the women's clothing section is 2X, the men's clothing section. So ladies definitely will enjoy this one. Also, shout out to the management at this location, especially the Homie Rick. He helped me out by correcting a suit price that was initially priced as two separate pieces. I have had this happened to me quite a bit and I'm not complaining because I understand how hard it probably used to sort it through donated clothing and matchup suit pants with suit jackets but it is definitely appreciated when management goes the extra mile after I have already spent good time sorting through the pants to find the matching jacket!

If the item doesn't fit in your vehicle you have to find someone else who can pick it up for you or forfeit the item. In our case we had no one to get it for us and it was too large for our car. Once we discovered there was no one who could help us with this, we had to forfeit the table. We were unable to get a 'FULL' refund because the staff in the back room kept our receipt. We could only get part of our funds back. So not only did we lose the table, we lost part of our money to Goodwill. Now they get to resell the table and pocket my money. Free. To them. We tried to suggest we come back in the afternoon to speak with the guy in the back who helped us and kept our receipt but we were told it was policy. Never again. Don't get scammed by Goodwill. They don't care of they keep your money or not. HORRIBLE!

Quick glance over the menu and I quickly chose the Eggs Benedict with the Chula salmon and Capital Farms burger patty add ons, the wife went the avocado toast, the Belgian Waffle, and Panna Cotta. Absolutely loved the Benedict. Quality ingredients and packed with flavor in every bite. Wife claims it was one of the best avocado toast plates she's had. I also highly recommend the Panna Cotta. Can't describe how much I enjoyed this bowl as well. Fresh squeezed OJ was icing on the cake too. Great food and great service. Definitely coming back to stuff my face.
