So far compared to Sunstar it doesn't add a lot of added value. There is little reason to visit this mall versus Sunstar so far. Looking at shops already open. As far as the supermarket is concerned that was a disappointment. Yes nice modern en fresh look but cramped compared to Waltermart and no additional selection that would make me go change super. Waltermart is roomy and at least 25-40% bigger. Beer selection is less than at 7-11. So, hopefully some nice shops will be added soon that would make me excited. Also I see no plan for a cinema, what would be another reason for going here.

I spent a lot of time here. As soon as you walk into the mall, it doesn't feel like you're in the Philippines anymore. The canal was nice to see during the day and at night. You can even take a gondola through the canal. They also have an area where you can feed pigeons seeds. They have a lot of the stores and the restaurants that we have in the US. I was joking around saying that I traveled 7200 miles to eat at a Denny's in the Philippines. Lol. And you know I had to hit up the Uniqlo here! Will I be back? Of course. They have a Little Free Library near the concierge desk, just look for the red phone booth (like the kind you find in the UK). There's paid parking and a transportation terminal that's across the street which is accessible by a foot bridge. Don't forget to check out all the restaurants outside at the back of the mall.

A very welcome change is the complex built by Robinson's Land collectively called Summit Ridge. Aside from the hotel, it's a very convenient stop as the shopping or mall area has several restaurants like Gilligan's, Razon's, Shakey's, Hap Chan, Starbucks, etcetera. There are also specialty stores at the second level for other needs. What I like most about Summit Ridge is that there's a supermarket (Robinson's, ofcourse) where we can get last minute or emergency stuff we fail to bring to an out of town trip. There's also several stalls (tiangge) in the open area selling an assortment of items from clothes, shoes, souvenir items and even delicacies. For those who do not necessarily intend to purchase anything and just need a toilet break, you'll be glad to know that theirs is quite spacious and kept relatively clean most of the time.

What I have seen are stores selling clothing - mostly overruns or surpluses of major brands, stores selling shoes, stores selling appliances, and stores selling miscellaneous items like mason jars and the like. You also have, of course, the pet center, and the SM supermarket. The best part, I think, are the foreign groceries where you can get Japanese or Korean ingredients dirt-cheap.
