I loved everything about this company. Their services their promptness and the fair price. We had a gas lined installed for a dual fuel range and also had some maintenance work done on our furnace Because we have LP Brian and Nate were kind enough to point out several items that were missed by the previous owners.. looks like we are all set for the winter and we will be having them back to install our generator and new hot water tank. and they clean up after themselves which is a HUGE plus in my book. read more

Hi Southwest Michigan! I am not someone that normally reviews unless I have outstanding service or straight up outstanding bad and upset about very poor service. The truth behold. My furnace was cycling-- attic furnace. Service tech came out first time and got up there and was on the phone with another service person to diagnose. Opened all the vents in home stated everything was good. That week, it felt like a gas or something wrong eyes burning throat burning. Called came back stated I need to take out air conditioning units-opened vents.(DID NOT LOOK AT FURNACE). 3rd time they literally broke up with me after being a customer for 7 years. Stated they checked carbon monoxide downstairs without looking in attic at furnace. That equals a false negative rating if your output is not close to heater. So... you drove out to inconvenience yourself and me and you knew it when you set the appointment. You should check the "mute" button on your phone Brittany. The wife VP I am sure on the phone which sounded she sounded like a former stripper breaking up. She stated that the last two times they did not go by furnace because there was no access. Sorry- did not provide ladder or drill. I was ready to spend money on a new furnace if need be. Hung up with not wanting to service or empathetic. If VP boss wife lady running show- I understand the 50k jobs are more important than the little ones. But the little ones you never know what they own or what they are building. Business. Huge loss as a current business owner and landlord. ****A new HVAC company came out tonight and diagnosed a cracked heater exchange. Putting out small amounts of Co2 at bottom level compared to attic level. read more

They came on the wrong day, never called, and didn't even fix my furnace. They had to come back a second time to fix it. Despite me giving them my contact number, they called another number constantly. The manager woman is also very unprofessional and rude. read more

I have bought a furnace, a central air-conditioner, and a tankless water heater from this company. I also referred my father to them and he purchased a furnace. Needless to say I thought I was a very good and loyal customer of this company. Therefore I was astonished when I was recently treated so poorly by them. A plumber, who was working on my bathroom remodeling, discovered that the tankless water heater had rusted out on the inside and was on the verge of failure. He said this was due to the fact that a drip valve had not been installed and the water had continuously dripped into the system and rusted it out. He made clear that he installs a drip valve on every one of the tankless water heaters that he installs. I called Sun Services and immediately informed them of this problem. Brain said he would come out and take a look at it. The day he was scheduled to come, he called and rescheduled. When someone finally did show up it wasn't Brian. It was a young guy who was there just to take pictures. He confirmed that it looked really bad and the damage was evident. Having been a good and loyal customer I offered Brian a chance to fix this mistake. I asked him if he would simply take me back to a tank water heater and do it for me at his cost. In other words, I wasn't even asking him to do it for free. He immediately turned this back on me. He stated that I should have had them servicing it annually. I was surprised because this was the first time anyone had suggested this. He said this would have been in my owner's manual. I asked, "Brian, you've been providing ongoing maintenance on my furnace (which was the first thing I purchased from him) twice a year, so why didn't you suggest that on any of those occasions? You were not more than five feet from that water heater twice per year. When you informed me that my furnace and air-conditioner would require bi-annual maintenance I agreed. Why would I not also agree to annual maintenance on the water heater if it required it? You were already out there." He then became indignant and informed me that he was sending back the money that I had pre-paid that year for the maintenance and my relationship with his company was over. I'm baffled by the way I've been treated. If he treats someone like me this way, a person who was loyal to him and his company, how do you think he'll treat you? read more

Was put in contact with them through our home warranty company. The guy came out, took one look at our water heater and said "yep, tank is shot, I will send the paper work in to the home warranty company right now so they can make this quick". Well the following week I found out the paper work still hadn't been submitted. Then, we found out through our home warranty company that Sun Services had said they couldn't replace our water heater till our water softener was removed. So we did that and Sun Services was contacted again. TWO WEEKS LATER, and after 2 phone calls to them (we were told we were waiting for scheduling) we find out that Sun Services is now saying they can't replace our water heater at all! So we have gone THREE WEEKS without hot water because of them and will now have to wait until next week for another company to come fix it, when if they would've told us they could'nt fix it on day one we would've had hot water again within days. I am absolutely livid with this company and will never understand why they found this to be acceptable behavior for a company. read more

Had Services done on my Furnace. Super great! Told me I may need a new one in the future. But did a few minor things where another said, I should junk it. Been running just great and saved me a ton of money. They even came out to my house faster than the estimated.
