I go there just about everyday and a couple of the beds about a couple of years ago got the bulbs changed. All the beds need the bulbs change. With the cold weather you can't put the fan on as the cold air makes it too cold especially since the bulbs are not strong. The renovations look good but with no updates or heat it is not a good experience. I am hoping with the new renovations they will spend the money to make tanning an enjoyable experience. If there was another tanning salon close by I would go even though I would hate to leave the amazing staff.

She showed me to the tanning bed which looked brand new. Back to my "functional" comment about my local gym, this place was not only functional, but a relaxing atmosphere! The staff are great to deal with and very pleasant. They are also very knowledgeable about the whole spray tanning process. I started my spray tan experience when in Miami and also had it done in New York. At those places, and some around the Fraser Valley, staff actually spray the tan on you. Uh...no thanks. I'll go that route when I need to but prefer, by far, an easy-to-use spray tan booth that gives the same results without having to stand half-naked in front of a stranger. And I've tried the self-tanning creams too. Try getting the crevice in your middle to upper back region if you aren't a Cirque du Soleil contortionist. As for price, I have nothing to complain about. Last month, I saw that Perfect Tan had spray tan packages on sale. When I was told that the sessions don't expire, I decided to buy a few packages to save even more. And currently, Perfect Tan has days when spray tans are half price. Lastly, and the reason I'm on here now...I recently had an experience with Lisa, the owner, where she went above and beyond in her attempt to provide me with top notch customer service. So when I went online here and saw the previous review, I felt I needed to leave one of my own.

Came in for the spray tan that is currently the top recommended product as far as spray tans go!…read moreThis was my first spray tan so I wasn't sure what to expect and I actually felt awkward knowing someone was going to spray me down from head to toe in the buff (most people go nude). The spray tech was great. She was super knowledgeable and very welcoming. It had a nice aroma of raspberry and almond, which I have heard that most spray tans aren't so kind on the senses. The spray tan basically works with your own PH level in you skin and darkens based on that. I opted for the PH balancing spray as well which is an additional $5 to the $35 spray tan. The PH balancing spray is supposed to benefit those with dry skin mostly to help the tan set in a little better. I generally have drier skin so I figured I would try this out. You get sprayed head to toe then dry for two minutes, then you are sprayed with a second coat and you are left to dry for five minutes then you're good to go. You can't get wet or go in the rain and have to be wary of your seatbelt rubbing on your neck post spray for 12 hours so its recommended to do this in the evening so that you have minimal disruptions to the spray tan. By the next morning I was a nice golden colour and I loved it! The colour was a nice even bronze that looked natural as if I had been blessed by the sun all summer long. I was very happy with the spray tan that I will likely return again! Located conveniently on 200th street in the plaza with the Tim Horton's and the Wendy's, across from Gold's gym. Definitely a great tan. It seems to be fading like a natural tan. No blotches or weird spots. It s the best I could ask for for a first time spray tanner. ;D

My teenage daughter and many of her friends WEREalso customers. When I booked my appt. today I was told that my minutes were gone with the old owners, and they had advertised in the local papers. I didn't get the memo.. and I've never seen a teenage girl read te paper. I have been in customer service for many years and am aware that the customer is not always right. But the new owner let me leave after telling me that she had done everything she could to let us know of the changes. She didn't offer me a tan, or try to sell me a package, or even be appologetic for the loss. I was a guaranteed sell standing in front of her, and she made me feel like it was my fault for not reading the paper. After coming home,I phoned her and asked why she didn't try to keep me as a customer, offer me anything or at least give me a sales pitch, SOMETHING. She walked into a gold mine of guaranteed clintele. And with little effort, and cost could have retained and built on the already there customer base. Insetad she is losing customers that were well established. At least four of my daughters' friends have left this business. I defended it and explained that it is hard for new owners and it takes time to organize. I didn't realize the level of rudeness. When I phoned the owner, and explained (calmly) my feelings of disappointment. She said she was frusterated as well, was losing a lot of customers in the transition, and then hung up on me. I am upset with their lack of service, I will not recommend it, and bad service spreads faster than good, I'm upset that I am witing this blog and taking time out of my day, and I'm upset that I have to find a new business.

This particular stand up though is quite large which makes the room just that much smaller for when you're getting ready ... it is a bit cramped but worth it . Complimentary eye wear is nice because I don have to buy the disposabl sticker ones if I forgot mine and you can see that they're being sanitized so it's not doubtful as to whether they're clean or not also a great selection of lotions there I bought a brand-new bottle and it was half the price that I was quoted for that same lotion at another tanning salon When I went they told me that the bulbs that just been replaced in the stand up booth, this made a big difference
