Do not use Sun Rentals! I rented a trailer from them and was unable to use it because the tread was completely gone from one of the tires after driving 330 miles to our location. I had to pay to replace the tire, which was 10 years old. They completely refuse to refund me for the tire because I signed their contract stating that if I drive over 50 miles, I'm responsible for anything that goes wrong. I think the fact that their tire was 10 years old should trump their contract. My bad for trusting them to provide equipment that is in safe working order. read more

I thought the rent is a little too high but they are the only place in town who have what I need. They need to be more attentive though treating their customers, it seems like the person there have no energy to even talk , anyway, I got what i need from them and it did what it needed to be done so I am good with that. read more

BE CAREFUL WHEN RENTING FROM SUN RENTALS!!!!! They are not Sunbelt rental. I rented a dump trailer from them. while dumping the back door malfunctioned and closed resulting in damage to the hinges. Even though it wasn't my fault, it was their equipment, I offered to pay half of the charges for repair.the man in charge at sun rentals in Kennewick is SHANE. As SHANE laughed at my offer, he said there was nothing he could do to help and proceeded to charge my credit card for over $600. Remember, this was to weld a hinge, I would hate to see the charge if an engine malfunctioned and he stuck someone with that bill! Just be careful if you have to deal with SHANE at sun rentals. When I spoke to someone on the phone to arrange the rental, everything was fine. When I came in to rent the machine, the fellow that helped was great. To load the scissor lift onto the trailer that came as a package with a small additional fee, they had to use a forklift -- I should have known that I'd have issues when it came time to re-load it. The lift didn't have enough traction and/or power to load itself onto the trailer from a clean, smooth, concrete slab (forward or backward). Add kitty litter, still a big NO! Had to improvise a way to assist the lift onto the trailer with a big ratchet strap while my wife operated the lift. Still not that big of a deal. When I return the lift and mention that they should include a method (come-along, winch, etc.) or technique to get the trailer loaded the guy just says, "NO we won't be doing that." When I replied, "Then you shouldn't rent the f@$%ing thing." He kicked me out of the store and threatened to call the cops on me! I will find out the chain of command and take it to management! read more

One star is way too many for this outfit. My credit card was double-billed by these morons, and I've tried for two weeks to peacefully resolve the mistake. I've talked with three different people, one who I think was a district manager and they all told me the store manager Javier would get this handled. They lost my credit card statement which I provided to them as proof, the manager Javier does not return calls or emails, and now I'm being forced to decide whether to take them to small claims court and waste their time like they've wasted mine and embarrass them publicly, or just file a fraud report with my credit card company which will waste a police officer's time, but get the situation handled. It amazes me that in this current business climate that a company can be so unresponsive to a good paying customer. I will buy a tractor before I would ever rent from these fools again. (Note: the last time I rented from them they had no trailers with working wiring, and when they got one fixed the guy loaded a backhoe on the trailer forwards leaving all the weight behind the axles. When I got to about 30 miles per hour the trailer started swaying so bad I almost flipped it going down Clearwater Ave. I had to pull over and reload it properly which wasted an hour of time for which I was of course charged.
