My hand doctor and my PCP both called in orders for different tests--a hand MRI and an ultrasound. Scheduling with Sun Radiology was fairly easy, though my request for having both tests done in one day/appointment could not be accommodated for reasons I do not quite understand (no one explained anything, it was just a no). I arrived on time for both appointments and still had to wait more than 15 minutes for each test, each time. I was a little confused with the ultrasound, as there were several technicians in the room as it was being done. I believe some of them were students, but this was never told to me nor was I asked if I was comfortable with that. It wasn't an issue and they were nice, but I appreciate having awareness of what's going on in situations like this. For my MRI, I was the last appointment of the day. The tech was nice enough, but I had to go out some random back door as the front office was closed. Some direction on where to find the main entrance where I was parked would have been appreciated. Also, my hand doctor requested a CD of the MRI and that was never acknowledged or honored. Small details can make a big difference. Next time I need radiology services, I will go elsewhere. read more

This is a zero star place. They are horrible waited 59 minutes beyond my appt then takeninside where they asked me to empty my pockets and put in a cupboard in hallway including your wallet phone car keys but no keys to secure it. When asking for key they said we don't have one it is only us working here. They are about 10 or more of them and 3 or 4 patients that have easy access to my belongings. This place is a wack job I suggest not use them and find a more honest safe place. read more

First: everyone at check in, the mammo lady, the scheduler, the girls who did my ultrasound and the techs who accommodated me for an MRI when I have bad claustrophobia: they're wonderful, kind and very nice. My complaint is more about the lack of communication w my PCP. It took many calls to get the results to my PCPs office. After a concern and having to do an MRI its been a week and my results haven't been sent to my PCP and no one will tell me anything. I am having to call both places every day. For someone facing a potential health crisis, this causes a tremendous amount of anxiety. Please be more timely in timely in communicating with the requesting provider. Patients literally live in fear when no one is telling them what their results are. read more

Firstly, I would like to say that scheduling was quick! They got me in not once but twice super fast. So I appreciated that. Check-in was simple and waiting room is nice (good temp, TV/news on). As for my services: Lori was incredible the first time. Kind, gentle, and patient. My results were sent to my doctor at, what felt like, lightening speed. My second visit was with Trisha and my goodness was she phenomenal. They had some early morning difficulties with their machine that caused some anxiety in the morning, but she recovered well and was patient, a superb listener, and ON it! She even got Dr Shaw to confirm the images were what was needed so I would ideally not have to return. I also saw Bri and she was just as sweet and kind as the rest. The staff was receptive to my (scrunched) timeline and were so very thoughtful in doing their best to acknowledge my follow up appointments and mitigate my anxiety. This office is lovely. A+ for the support staff, technicians, and doctor I was in contact with. Will come here again for any imaging services needed. Thank you, all! read more

I went to Sun radiology last year in November. At the time they told me that my insurance didn't cover the exam. And so I had to pay in advance. When I called today to ask for an invoice that I could submit to my insurance I was told that they request the entire bill will be paid in advance in case the insurance doesn't pay for it. I have had mammograms for the last 5 years at Sun Radiology Glendale location. My January 5, 2025 mammogram indicated the need for an ultrasound and diagnostic mammogram. I did not get notified of this until January 23rd. I was told to come in for an ultrasound which if did on the 23rd. Not until I was there for the ultrasound was I told I also needed a diagnostic mammogram but so one was there to do it on the 23rd. I had to return on the 25th for the diagnostic. It took a full week to get the results. Most other imagining centers have a radiologist on site when you have an ultrasound and you get feedback immediately. Sun radiology is under staffed both from the front desk and support staff to the radiologist. I will never return there for services and would recommend avoiding Sun Radiology. read more

Terrible experience here. Its been 8 days since my mammogram/ultrasound and I can't get them to send the results to my doctor or even tell me if the radiologist has seen my exam results. Every time I call them, im holding for a minimum of 30 mins and nobody seems to be able to help or give me answers. When can I have my results??? Next time, i will go out of network and pay more money to get actual customer service, this is ridiculous. read more

i went for a MRI brain with contrast they verify my insurance and ask me to pay $254 my deductible, and now 1 month later i receive a bill for $600 extra, i was almost on the floor i couldnt believe it, so turn out they charge my insurance $1,836 omg can you believe it? i ask how much will you charge a person without insurance?, $500 plus $400 of the contrast, thats $900 total, and why do you charge $1,836 to my insurance? thats why they didnt cover all and you ask me to pay an extra $600, this business is just stealing in our noses, making up prices for profit. never going back read more

I was not told to avoid caffeine for the calcium score scan that I had. Insurance usually won't pay for this test so I paid $75 out of pocket. NowI have to have the test again because the results may not be accurate. I have emailed Sun radiology to request the $75 back but no response. read more

I did not like this place at all. They called and asked if we could get there earlier than the original appointment time. I arrived 30 minutes early, 4:00, my appointment was at 4:30, I didn't get taken back until 4:50. When I arrived I was very patient to wait as I had nothing going on. While I was waiting, the receptionists gossiped the entire time and talked loads of crap about patients. One of them called a girl who was 2 minutes late and told her to reschedule, even though when she looked out the window she said she saw the lady. All 3 receptionists proceeded to laugh about it as if it was something hilarious. My last complaint is about how I was the only person in there that got charged $3 for a disc with the scans. There were about 3 people in front of me and none of them were asked to pay $3 for there scans. Although the person who did my MRI was very kind and sweet, I will not be coming back here. First off, I am in the Healthcare Feild and know how to treat patients. I was scheduled for a Scan on 8/26/24 at 4pm. This location is 40 minutes away from my home, after fighting traffic which took me about 60 minutes to get there, I walk in to check in only to be told that the Tech had to leave early. I replied with why didn't anyone call me to let me know, receptionist response was they called you at 1pm, I looked at her and said would I have driven 60 minutes to get here knowing that my scan would not get done?????? They showed no concern for the inconvenience at all. Problem is, this is the only place that I am able to go to where the scan will be covered, so unfortunately, my hands are tied having to deal with this unprofessional group. I would give this business a zero if I could!!! I called and made an appointment because it was the only place apparently my insurance would cover. This is 40 min away from me. The billing department called and confirmed with my insurance the amount I would owe. I said if it's more then that I will not do the appointment so please confirm that is the amount! They assured me that was the amount and say they guarantee the lowest prices. I get my service done and months later get a bill for almost 500 dollars after I already paid 356!! They then tried to say well that is just an estimated price. I call the office and low and behold the cash price is 450 and will match any MRI company. After months of trying to get ahold of billing after leaving messages and emails and no response I get another bill stating they will take further action if I don't pay. I finally get ahold of someone and I said ok I want to pay the cash price then I would have never agreed to this had I known you were going to charge me over 1,000 dollars!! He is trying to say once it's sent through insurance they can't change it to cash. Which is not true!! I told them I will pay the difference for the cash price that is it and he said he needs to talk to someone to see if that's ok but won't give me an answer on when I can get an answer maybe in a few weeks!!!!! This place is a joke especially with billing!! They are trying to get more money from me with out mentioning a cash price that is much less then what they are trying to bill me!!! Did not see me for over an hour after my scheduled time. My order was scheduled as a STAT and it's been days with no results. Every time I've called the response was "our doctor isn't here and hasn't released it, there's nothing I can do". Awful experience for anyone waiting for results. read more

If we could give a zero we absolutely would! We were sent here through Dr. Daulat for a CT scan. First it took two days to get approval through workers comp and once the doctor got the approval the orders were sent to Sun Radiology, this specific location. They were supposed to call us to schedule an appointment and never did. We had to call them and once we did they said, over the phone that they didn't have the orders, waited on the phone and they claimed they actually did have them. Once we arrived at our appointment 15 minutes early because they asked us to, we waited an hour and watched other people go in and out of their appointment. I went to ask the front desk what was taking so long and she said they were waiting for approval from the workers comp, I told her that was taken care of already and explained we even had to wait a couple of days for that and she got on the phone and said they did have the approval and that they would call us back in a bit. Waited a total of and hour and a half before the CT scan was actually done. This place is horrible, not to mention they knew where we lived while on the phone prior to setting the appointment and knowing there is a location near us, they never chose to schedule us there. The people doing them were great....but it took 16 long days of waiting, 5 phone calls from me and 1 from the Dr.'s office to get the Radiologist to read the tests and fax to my Dr.'s office. Most unprofessional service ever. Came in for a chest x-ray due to Covid. Staff had no training in how to handle this in August 2020. Staff had no idea how to verify my insurance. I was overcharged for the service and after months of calling have been unable to be receive a refund of the overpayment. Even the premises is shoddy. Service was fine at the moment of the appointment, however they continued charging my card after all payments were complete. I paid my $800 bill and then I got a letter for on insurance saying that they would cover the bill. So I came back to Sun Radiology and tried to process through insurance which was difficult, and then they came back around to say I owed even more money ($600). I have called billing multiple times and can't get a hold of anyone and am forced to leave messages that they don't return. I'm very unhappy with the service. read more

I have been sick for weeks and I need to get a scan to see what it was that was doing this to me so I went to sun radiology for a scan and right when I got there it seemed the entire staff was at the front just talking while there were people complaining in the lobby. I just ignored it because I didn't know their situations. I got called back and was sat in a room to get an IV and the lady could not get it which did not make me feel secure at all. They were not very professional and that made me nervous so I just left. I called to get a refund and the lady on the phone was extremely rude saying I had to be in person to get a refund which did not make sense at all. If you need scans done I highly suggest going somewhere else. The only good thing about this place was Ginger, she was very sweet. read more

The girl who did my test not only watched me change in front of her and not give me the space to do so privately, she inappropriately touched my breasts in a non-medical way. No stars, that's what this place deserves. Appointment was at 11, they told me to come 25 minutes early. Filled out forms that took me less than five minutes. It's been an hour since I've arrived and yet nothing. 30 minutes passed my appointment time. What's the point of telling me to come early if you're not even going to see me when it's my appointment time. This place is a serious waste of time. The front desk people just have conversations with themselves and ignore the patients. Horrible customer service. Horrible wait time even if you have an appointment. An hour and thirty minutes passed since I arrived and the front desk still hasn't told me anything. I get up and ask how much longer and five minutes later they tell oh we're having complications with a previous client so you'll be waiting longer. Why didn't you tell me that while I was waiting?? They're completely unprofessional then have the nerve to ask me if I want to reschedule. No the fuck not. read more
