I first came to Dr. Shafaghi hoping…read moreI could find deeper answers to some very difficult questions and long term struggles, now especially as a new father with my first child it was more critical than ever. Honestly, I was really desperate & hopeless because a number of other therapists over many years had failed me, and now I had set very low expectations since I thought I was the problem. So I would have been happy with some new perspective, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only we went much deeper, it was as if so much was waiting to come up so fast--here and now in the care and of this good doctor & the safe atmosphere he has created to allow for it. It's hard to describe in a few words, but the first two sessions seemed to unravel an entire new stage of my life. From a healing perspective, those two sessions did more than years of soul searching, and more than some hundreds of sessions in comparative holistic approaches. I know this sounds like an exaggeration, but it is not. The many years of experience of a good therapist, combining both, therapy and hypnosis, can be profoundly effective in terms of the depths one could reach. Dr. Shafaghi's book explains how and why, and it's well worth a read. May I say, an easy client who is a learner also helps--that was his compliment to me regarding how well I received his help Now he is our family doctor, and I feel blessed he is in our lives. I have a feeling those who encounter him will find new and profound discoveries awaited them. What is most admirable in this practice also is the way husband and wife advocate for one another. I am also slightly troubled by the unfavorable and unfair rating of a reviewer who seems to be speaking from another universe, so I thought I will add this review from my google to show the truth of this beautiful and sacred space.

A family member of mine was diagnosed with cancer, and while researching treatment options, I came…read moreacross Infuze MD. After a brief call with an employee named Paolo, who spoke positively about the clinic, I shared the information with my relative. In hindsight, I realize that in my desperation, I may have overlooked warning signs. At the time, I did not realize Paolo is not a medical professional, even though he was the first person discussing treatment options. The clinic is owned and operated by Dr. Nilda Agnes Abellera, who is board-certified in PEDIATRICS but whose clinic advertises integrative medicine. My relative traveled from out of state to begin what was described as an "intensive" 20-day cancer program. According to her account, the first three days did not feel intensive. She reported that infusion rates appeared slowed, staff could not explain the scientific basis for some treatments, and the doctor missed a planned medication review. She also observed what she believed was dried blood on a chair and described an IV bag fully draining while the needle was in place, which worried her. On October 9, 2025, she said her care was terminated immediately after raising concerns, without timely written notice, referrals, or arrangements to ensure access to medical care until she could establish care elsewhere. Referrals were only provided after I contacted the clinic. This abrupt termination caused a delay of over a month in her treatment and worsened her PTSD symptoms. She also tried to obtain her medical records multiple ways. On October 10, she requested them in person but was denied. She also submitted a written request and used the clinic's online inquiry form. As of this writing--52 days later--she has not received her complete records. When I called the clinic, Paolo was tense and dismissive, and I could not speak directly with Dr. Abellera. Given the situation, I became concerned about whether proper procedures were followed and intended to file a complaint with the Medical Board of California. Additional observations and concerns (personal experience): Family-run structure: The clinic is owned by Dr. Abellera. Paolo appears to manage many aspects, and another family member may also work there. This raised questions about oversight and role clarity. Online reviews: Of 32 Google reviews, 5 were five-star without details. Only one mentioned "cancer," making it hard to evaluate patient experiences compared with other clinics with hundreds of detailed reviews. Difficulty communicating with the physician: My relative and I tried to speak directly with Dr. Abellera; she did not speak with me, and my relative felt the doctor was unwilling to address her concerns. This lack of communication was alarming given her serious diagnosis. Cost vs. expectations: The program cost approximately $1,800 per day. Based on my relative's experience, the services did not match the program description. Others may feel differently, but this was our impression. Social media promotion: Paolo participates in Facebook groups promoting the clinic without identifying himself as an employee, which seemed misleading. I have included a screenshot for reference. In more than a decade in healthcare, I have never witnessed a more concerning divergence from a physician's duty to do no harm: terminating care without notice, effectively leaving my relative without immediate, comparable care options while facing life-threatening cancer.

I legit have ptsd from this place, I've been so angry at the bull crap non compassionate, only look out for your self way to run a business like This... this location will drive you to DO DRUGS... this place has been an authoritarian nightmare after they let some new guy named Isaac who is a counselor basically treat patients like dirt, from the constantly rolled over staff to unfair treatment (some people get let in late and others get locked out 15 mins before!!! oh yah if your there on time before the close say 110 pm but for some reason they get busy in the office, or are ynderstaffed they WILL refuse to dose you after 130 stating the computer won't let them lol... total horse pickey... liars and un compassionately severely underpaid staff being asked to fly through hoops... counselors with 100 plus patients each when the joh description calls for 50-60 each so nope we aren't getting the counseling we need, in fact you can count on getting a new counselor here consistently because they don't give a frap enough to hire and train good people ?? Why would they thus is a cash business and meant to bulldoze your soul and make you feel guilty even more than you do for falling intro drugs... people have committed auicide over this place... rip

They used to be open only till one. Then they changed to: closed at 2...then 130...now 1:20…read more Why anyone's complaining, I don't know. People you've seen let in after the cut off HAVE COUNSELING APPOINTMENTS. But the dosing is closed window closed. People complaining about the hours but the staff, if they are off at 2, they want to be OFF. People wait to the last minute and the line be just the door! So how bout they let you in and when the clock bongs 2,get ready to RUN out the door-- whether youre in line or not? (Do YOU work after you're off for free??) But then there be fights and attitude if somebody who's dosing is taking a little bit longer or talking to the lady about something or waiting for take homes people in line will get attitude and start huffing and puffing. And many of these people, I'm one of them, are from the streets and people from the streets handle shit a little different than normies so they do this to prevent fights and chaos and to be able to get off at the time they're supposed to because people will be lagging motherfuckers procrastinating ass motherfuckers and that's the truth--you know how come I know? Cuz I'm one of them! They say when you don't like something about someone it's because you see it in your own self and don't like it about yourself, that's the only reason you even recognize it in someone else.. I started at that clinic 19 years ago I've gone to Richmond, I've gone to Concord (when it was open). Dr quismorio was my first and only doctor when I became pregnant and chose to stop chasing shadows in the streets. I'm happy to have a guaranteed well that doesn't make me nod off. One that can actually be reduced 1 mg at a time if I choose to. For a long time I was on a 1 mg per week taper and I didn't even feel it a bit. You can't do that with pills. My only complaint, and it's not even with them, is with the fact that I have to go every single day for one dose which is an exercise in tedium, but that's my own fault cuz I missed too many days or I wasn't clean. We don't even have to pay for the gas to and from because of the blessing of being able to get transportation now. Thanks to methadone I feel normal, and my pain from scoliosis, stenosis and rheumatoid arthritis is managed. And as for cities like Concord, who " didnt want 'THOSE kind of people'", that having a MMT clinic, (paid for by the medical insurance that the state brings)?---Well, when you don't give "THOSE" kind of people options? You get mailboxed. You get your car broken into. Get parts SAWED off your car! You get crime. So consider that next time you vote. And if you choose not to vote? Then settle down--no commentary from the peanut gallery, please.

He was gone for a month and when he returned my second visit was worse. He didn't review the test results. I had to remind him he already ordered them and they were done except 3D bone scan and why. He glanced at test results and then said Dr Adam Brooks in same office would get the 3D bone scan preautho done for me. Why couldn't this doc since he is one I am seeing? I had to call Dr Brooks office. They were a joke. He would not ordered or do anything unless I was his pateint. So I had to transfer to him. Which ment another month waiting. He wouldn't order any test until I had my first evaluation from him. My husband and I had told ladies on phone several times I had a knee replacement and having isuues. Day before my 3pm apt, we get a call confirming 1pm apt. They insisted it was never at 3pm. Rearranged our day, on way to doc and we get a call. I am calling from Dr Adams office. ?? who?? Apprently his first name Adam G Brooks, MD. Doc reviewed and seen I already had knee replacement he doesn't see people with issues and would only refer me to someone else. This office has done nothing but waist our time and 4 months. I would never recommend either one of these doctors. Between ladies ansering phones, she could have told us at the begining he could see me. And Dr Busfield passing the buck when it comes to having test done, not reviewing patient files before coming into room is very unprofessional. I let Dr. Brooks office know before hanging up. Thank you for wasting our time. Which is exactly what both of these two have done and work at same office.
