How comfortable is your practice with patients with extremely rare diseases that overlap? I can get into specifics for myself privately but a lot of doctors run when they see my diagnosis list.

Hello Rae, Thank you for reaching out! We always strive to support our patients’ health using TCM…

Have you successfully treated patients with a lumbar injury and radiculopathy in both legs and feet related to minimally bulging and protruded discs? If so how long does the treatment typically take for someone six weeks of symptoms?

Hello Farshad, Thank you for your question. Injuries to the lumbar spine and soft tissues are among…

Have you ever treated patients with Fluoroquinolones induced tendinopathy and muscle tightness?

Hello, tendinopathy and muscle tightness are very common problems we treat. However, we didn't have evidence showing that fluoroquinolones were the cause of any of those cases.

Do you offer Acupuncture 'dry needling' or trigger point injections. My insurance is Medicare and AARP. Is that covered?

Hi Diane, Thank you for asking.…

He has been my family's acupuncturist and the positive impact he has had on our lives is truly immeasurable. He has helped me through chronic back pain, pregnancy-related sciatica, and one of the most memorable moments of my life when my baby was in a breech position. Hoping to avoid a C-section and more invasive procedures, I turned to Eisaku. His treatment helped encourage my son to turn, reinforcing the trust I already had in his care. Before seeing Eisaku, I dealt with recurring back pain for years and would occasionally need muscle relaxers or anti-inflammatory medication when it became severe. Since working with him, those flare-ups have become rare, and I now manage far better without relying on medication the way I once did. What truly sets Eisaku apart is not only his skill, but his character. After my son was born, he came to visit both of us. That level of compassion and genuine care is rare. Today, that same son is now a high school multi-sport athlete and continues to see Eisaku for recovery from the aches and strains of practices and tournaments, as needed. My parents are also long-time patients who rely on him to maintain their health and manage stress. I've tried other acupuncturists over the years due to travel and relocation, but I always come back to Eisaku. He is gifted, trustworthy, and genuinely invested in his patients' lives. If you're looking for someone who delivers results and truly cares, I highly recommend Eisaku.

At our first visit, he patiently listened and answered my many questions and also showed great empathy for what I was going through. He designed a plan and discussed with me that my issue was going to require diet intervention as well. Through his guidance and skillful sessions, I improved over the course of a few months without needing steroid creams any longer. Ever since I've been coming to see him regularly, I noticed an overall better wellness state and look forward to my weekly sessions. I don't sing many people high praises, but Eisaku deserves all the praises. Thank you so much for helping me through everything!

Before setting out to do ivf, I wanted to take a step back and heal my body mentally, emotionally & physically after the daunting unsuccessful 2 years of infertility. I had done acupuncture before but it didn't seem to be a good fit. After a quick search of acupuncturists in the area, I decided to try it again when I saw Anna's reviews. I knew I stumbled upon the right person when my first consultation with her, she went over in depth an extensive background of my period, ovulation, pains, symptoms, labs, etc., and told me more about my body then any doctor ever had! I started seeing Anna in December of 2023, and was initially set on doing ivf in march 2024 and no one could change my mind about it.. until that first appointment. Right off the bat, she said I think you have endometriosis. A word I have heard tossed around before, but no doctor or fertility specialist had ever advised me to rule it out. On top of that, she had found my AMH was higher than normal (4.10 which doctor's said was normal), my thyroid levels were fluctuating, I have always ovulated later (again not necessarily normal), and my lining was way to thin to conceive on clomid/iui treatments. All things fertility specialists had advised that I was a proper candidate for treatments because all my levels looked "normal", when in fact they were not. I took her advice and saw 2 different surgeons who advised me robotic laparoscopy was the way to go. 50% of women with unexplained infertility have endometriosis, yet it is one of the most misdiagnosed diseases of infertility. I decided to go in for surgery in February of 2024. I found out I have stage 3 endo, with it all over my left ovary, behind my uterus, and near my rectum. 3 months after surgery, and 2 months of trying, I got pregnant naturally! I am currently 14 weeks pregnant with a baby girl on the way. I cannot thank Anna enough for what she has done for me! To finally get answers after 2 years, and be pregnant after 2.5 knowing now the main cause of my infertility, is a gift. As other endo warriors know, it is forever. So even if ivf is in my future or another surgery, as I want multiple kids, I know I can BE pregnant. You can't put a price on that. In just 2 months of seeing Anna, she changed my life. I still currently see her for treatments during pregnancy as she doubles as a therapist and will continue to see her through postpartum & my journey to my second, and third kid ;) Please go see her as she knows what she's doing! You will not regret it. She is pure magic.

If you're having any pain, muscle strains, sprains, spasms, etc. then this is the place for you…read more Dr. Kang is simply amazing at his craft. My family and I have visited his office multiple times and every time we go in because of an issue, he magically treats us. (I went in for shoulder and back pain for always sitting at a desk, mom for back pain and digestive issues, stepdad for pain after a car accident). My mom recently visited the office a few weeks ago because she was having extreme back pain/aches. It seemed like there was a huge muscle knot in the middle of her back, but we wanted to go get professional help from Dr. Kang in order to solve the issue. A week before, she got acupuncture at Kaiser because the cost was covered, but it did not help her at all. I think each acupuncturist definitely has their own way of doing acupuncture and I'm in no place to judge since I am not an acupuncturist myself, but my grandfather is a retired acupuncturist and my mom and I both grew up getting acupuncture from him. From what I saw and what my mom expressed, they don't push in the acupuncture needle deep enough at Kaiser to really target the muscles and problem areas. Anyways, the point is that Dr. Kang made my mom's back pain/ache go away by just one session. How amazing is that! I also love that he is not a doctor who is hungry for money. He never tells you to come more than you need to and not in a careless way. When we asked if we need to come again he said to just come if the pain happens to become unbearable again. However, there was no need for that. The pain was already much better on day 1, even though there was still some pain left. And after a few days, the pain was completely gone. Procedure: Acupuncture & cupping therapy. Their cupping machine is super cool. Their cups are connected to the machine and it basically gives you a massage and feels really good. I don't know how to explain it HAHA you have to try it out for yourself. If you don't have a high pain tolerance though it might hurt for you but it's a good kind of pain that will release muscle tension/knots I believe. Price: $100 on your very first visit, $70 for every session after that. This may sound a bit pricey compared to some rates in places like San Jose where they have more acupuncture offices. However, it's still not considered that expensive and I rather still go here because I know that Dr. Kang is great at what he does and it works every time. Some places may be cheaper or even free (Kaiser for us), but it took many more sessions to treat issues we had or didn't even help at all. If you're hesitant and skeptical about acupuncture and other East Asian medical practices, just try it out. Like really, it doesn't hurt to try and you won't know how effective it may be on you until you do. In my opinion, it's much more effective and a faster treatment process than taking medicine for pain so I highly recommend it and especially recommend getting it here at Walnut Creek Acupuncture!

From the beginning, Rose was incredibly supportive and really took the time to understand my body. She was able to identify areas that needed extra attention and worked with me through acupuncture, along with traditional supplements, to help get my body into a better balance. We were preparing for an IVF transfer in the fall, and then, to our surprise, we found out we had conceived naturally right before the transfer! While I know everyone's journey is different, I truly believe the support and care I received from Rose played an important part in my overall journey. Rose is amazing to work with.
