My first consultation was good so I refer my wife and now 2 of us attends the acupuncture session. She recently moved to a new office and I think it's bigger than previous one. We do our sessions every 2 weeks. Some pain are gone, others might need multiple sessions. We will still come back because it helps. Acupuncture is not a miracle cure but it's good to have an alternative from regular doctor consultation. Try them in case you are curious. I have had a bad Achilles heal for the past 7 months. I have tried PRP injections and procedures where the doctor reinjures the area, hopefully causing more blood flow and a better recovery. I received acupuncture treatment here for pain on both wrists, and my pain was worse afterwards. It's very upsetting, especially as I need to bear weight on both wrists throughout the day, every day. I'm a regular consumer of acupuncture and a big believer in traditional Chinese medicine. It is difficult to find a knowledgeable practitioner in the U.S., and though I've found one whom I trust and respect a great deal, his office is a bit too far away from where I live. I decided to try Deng's Acupuncture because of all the great reviews. It did not live up to the hype. Acupuncture treatment does not always offer a cure, but it should not cause more pain. Usually, it does not. Aside from the treatment that left me in worse shape, I now still have needle marks on one of my arms more than a week after Haiying's treatment. This is absolutely not normal. This place was relatively clean but the indoor temperature was 78 during my visit--far too hot to be comfortable. Haiying gave me a discount for my visit because she herself was sick on the day I came in, and it appears she couldn't include some of the treatment that is normally included, such as cupping. I appreciate the discount, but again, there's no reason that acupuncture alone should have worsened my pain. I had a few other concerns for which I sought treatment. My results are incredible! I have had severe wrist pain/ loss of function/ weakness for over 2 years. I have seen countless hand doctors and never really got an accurate diagnosis. I had severe pain in my shoulder after traveling and sleeping wrong / not on my own pillow. The pain was so terrible I could not sleep and I had even taken ibuprofen but it did not help. My husband told me I should go to Deng's Acupuncture so I did. I hadn't had acupuncture for years so I was a little nervous but she was very calming from the beginning. I explained my pain and she told me the pain was actually from my neck and radiated to my shoulder. She must have placed the needles well because after the acupuncture (and some cupping), I had at least 60% less pain and by the next day, all of the pain was gone. Dr Deng is so wonderful! She's one of the best acupuncturists I've ever been to. I really feel a difference between her and some other clinics I've used in the past. She's incredibly knowledgeable, was able to spot something with my thyroid just by looking at me. Dr. Deng was nice, but we wish she explained things more. It was our first time trying acupuncture for a sharp shoulder pain when raising the right arm. Tendinitis? We had no idea what to expect. She did not discuss what she will do? How long? What we should expect as outcome? Follow up treatment? Ambiance was ok, clean. I suppose acupuncture is not for everyone, the pain is still there. My boyfriend felt she was too aggressive with the area that was causing him discomfort. We're still glad we gave acupuncture a try. I had a MTB accident at Mt Diablo single track, and fractured my neck C7 and right clavicle six months ago. After surgery I had three months Physical therapy and didn't get much improvement, right arm couldn't move much. I'm a pretty active person, and love to ride on my bike ASAP, I didn't believe acupuncture that much until I gave a leap of faith to Haiying Deng treatments. I'm a hairstylist and have really bad pain and tightness in my right shoulder. I believe the type of workouts I do also make it even more stiffer. I saw Dr. Deng in August 2020 for fertility issues. When I went to go see her I had 5 failed IUIs and my doctor said I could try one more time before moving on to IVF.
