A few years ago I had Sun City Upholstery reupholster the seats in my golf cart and just recently I had them make a enclosure for my cart and the workmanship, fit and finish is some of the best I've ever seen! The price was commensurate with the quality of work and Ron the owner was a pleasure to work with! I would recommend them for any of your upholstery or enclosure needs! read more

Ron and the crew at Sun City Upholstery are best hands down. I appreciate that Ron listened attentively to what I was looking for. He provided suggestions and expertise to help me make an informed decision. He takes a hands-on approach of making sure the job is done right the first time. His ultimate goal is to ensure you are satisfied with the work. I am very pleased with the outcome of my couch cushions. Thank you again for a job well done. read more

It is amazing to me that this business still exists, other than the fact that no one is online in Sun City. We took three chairs to them for reupholstering. The owner wasn't there when we dropped them off, so the staff told us he would call in a few days to get the details for what we wanted. 4 weeks later they still had not called. When we stopped by to retrieve our property, the woman condescendingly told us " it only would had taken a call to us". Little did she remember, we did call and spoke to her and she was the one that told us the owner would get back to us soon. NOT read more

I had an outstanding experience at Sun City Upholstery. Ron is awesome and very personable. Brad, his tech and his helper were fantastic. The quality of work was amazing. Brad made some custom repairs to my broken out composite board that saved me a bunch of money and time. Brad is a true CRAFTSMAN and not just a parts replacer. Good work but painfully slow in completing the 1 day project. Took them more than a month!!!!

I had a very small upholstery job to do and walked in to discuss it with the receptionist. She appeared to be overwhelmed having to serve the customer ahead of me. She was exceptionally negative mentioning all the work they had to perform and they generally do not like walk ins and want you to make an appointment. it did not take but a moment to realize that they do not worry or work towards custOmer service. I would expect that the receptionist would be much better suited for retirement. read more

Highly recommend Ron and Sun City Upholstery! We had a big job: 18 cushions for an outdoor sectional. Ron had great suggestions on how to improve from the cushions we had and did a phenomenal job. The result was truly perfect. Ron is still intimately involved in the work at his shop and is passionate about his craft. Don't let let simple storefront fool you - this is the best place to go for new or to recover cushions. Cushions for our dinning set are next! read more

I took our golf cart seat to them for re-upholstery. Maria, the seamstress was pleasant, wore a mask and answered my questions. When I returned (wearing my mask) to pick up the seat the woman at the front desk was impatient, rude and unsafe (did not wear a mask even though we were less than 3 feet apart). During our conversation we were interrupted by an unmasked male employee who also stood less than 3 feet away. I planned to get an estimate on re-covering patio furniture cushions but due to the rude and unsafe behavior of the two employees I took what turned out to be $2,500 worth of work to another shop. read more

If I could give Zero I would...I was recommended to them from a friend of mine, did my research and dropped off my golf cart seats 3 weeks ago...They were supposed to be ready in 2 weeks.....I check 2 weeks later and they are not done....I'm flexible and understand that things happen, so they tell me another week...I call today and they say the same thing another week...I call back and tell them forget it, I'll take my business elsewhere...I make a comment that I'd like to speak to the owner and see why my seats are not complete and I make the accusation that they are putting other jobs ahead of mine...The employee actually tells me that this is true, the owner has taken on too much work from cart dealers and is pushing those jobs to the front of the line delaying those of us that are "Average Joe's" When I went to pick up the seats the employees again validated that was indeed the case and that the owner dictates what jobs get done and in what order...The employee begged me to give them a chance and seemed very sincere and apologetic but I could not, in good faith, let that owner take a dollar from me....No calls from the owner, no explanation from the owner who just appears to put his employees in the line of fire for his poor business decisions and acumen...If you're just a golfer or recreational cart user go somewhere else read more

I took my well-worn golf cart seat and back to Sun City Upholstery. When I picked them up a week later, I couldn't have been more pleased. Maria was very helpful when selecting the material and suggested a border trim to match our golf cart color. I am extremely pleased with the result. Marie did a beautiful job. The finished seat and back are beautiful and the trim is a perfect color match. I highly recommend Maria at Sun City Upholstery. read more

I called today and was told no uncertain terms that Brad the man that needed to do the estimate was out of town they didn't know when he would be back and they wouldn't take my number and have him call me and couldn't seem to get me off the phone fast enough so no I don't recommend these people to anyone I heard all these glowing reviews but I was treated pretty badly when I was on the phone thanks but no thanks read more

Awesome people! Excellent work! They aren't trying to rip you off either. Pricing was excellent. Love that they aren't trying to sell you something you don't need either. Had a seat and seat back reworked for my boat. Extremely happy!! read more

Outstanding job. We had sling patio chairs that were discolored and found new fabric to replace it. The pickup and delivery was awesome. The work on the chairs was great and they look beautiful. It however took a while dealing with paperwork/different staff and to work on the chairs. The business is always swamped. Overall we are very pleased with the result. read more

Stopped in early summer to check on getting a quote, shortly after noon. Nice gal greeted me, she said the man that handles residential wasn't in then, so I planned to stop again. Went by again with my sofa cushions just in case, he wasn't in, so I left my name and number. Never heard back. Called a few days later and explained I was waiting to hear about getting my couch redone, again left my name and number. Never heard back. Too bad I actually have two couches, two love seats and three side chairs to be reupholstered. Guess Sun City Upholstery has plenty of work and doesn't need any more..... read more

Ron did all the upholstery for my golf cart. I LOVE IT! Every stitch is tight and it looks amazing. Recently, the magnet fell out which prevented me from keeping the door closed. He showed up at my house at 5:30 on a Friday and made sure everything was fixed before he left. He also replaced the other side door magnet "just in case". He did a great job and understand customer service. read more

Without a doubt some of the most amazing people, with incredible skills of craftsmanship are part of this organization! Not only did they make the welting I required while I waited, they reupholstered the cushion I brought to them in record time! Their work is impeccable, and I must say the staff was so pleasant and joyful, I wanted to spend time just talking to them. What an excellent example of a small business owner providing not only top-notch services, but a pleasant working environment for his employees. I will never go anywhere else for my upholstery needs and i'd highly recommend you give them a try. Kudos to you Ron for a job well done! read more

A co-worker recommended Sun City Upholstery so I thought we would stop by and see if there was a sales rep that might be able to give us a ball park quote on what our project would cost. When we walked in there was a middle aged blonde lady with curly hair working with another customer. She didn't look up or acknowledge us. We brought a cushion with us as a sample to show what we were hoping to recover. We sat it on the floor by some other junk laying there (as it's a very cluttered, messy place) and we began to look at the fabric options hanging on display. She finished with the guest and walked over to us and said "I need to get over there!" and motioned just past us. We moved out of her way and over to the front door to wait. Then, she came over and said "Ron isn't here right now! He had a doctor appointment and has another appointment at 2:00". I said "We don't know who Ron is". She said "is that yours" pointing at the cushion we brought in. I said "Yes, it is. We were wondering if someone would be able to give us a quote on recovering several of these for us". She said "No." And then she said "Well, Ron could but he can't even talk to you until sometime in July". She was very abrupt and rude with her statements. I said "We will find another vendor to help us. Sorry to have troubled you" and we picked up our cushion and walked out. It's amazing to me that people can have such poor customer service and still be in business. read more
