It is amazing to me that this business still exists, other than the fact that no one is online in Sun City. We took three chairs to them for reupholstering. The owner wasn't there when we dropped them off, so the staff told us he would call in a few days to get the details for what we wanted. 4 weeks later they still had not called. When we stopped by to retrieve our property, the woman condescendingly told us " it only would had taken a call to us". I had a very small upholstery job to do and walked in to discuss it with the receptionist. She appeared to be overwhelmed having to serve the customer ahead of me. She was exceptionally negative mentioning all the work they had to perform and they generally do not like walk ins and want you to make an appointment. it did not take but a moment to realize that they do not worry or work towards custOmer service. When I returned (wearing my mask) to pick up the seat the woman at the front desk was impatient, rude and unsafe (did not wear a mask even though we were less than 3 feet apart). During our conversation we were interrupted by an unmasked male employee who also stood less than 3 feet away. I planned to get an estimate on re-covering patio furniture cushions but due to the rude and unsafe behavior of the two employees I took what turned out to be $2,500 worth of work to another shop. read more

If I could give Zero I would...I was recommended to them from a friend of mine, did my research and dropped off my golf cart seats 3 weeks ago...They were supposed to be ready in 2 weeks.....I check 2 weeks later and they are not done....I'm flexible and understand that things happen, so they tell me another week...I call today and they say the same thing another week...I call back and tell them forget it, I'll take my business elsewhere...I make a comment that I'd like to speak to the owner and see why my seats are not complete and I make the accusation that they are putting other jobs ahead of mine...The employee actually tells me that this is true, the owner has taken on too much work from cart dealers and is pushing those jobs to the front of the line delaying those of us that are "Average Joe's" When I went to pick up the seats the employees again validated that was indeed the case and that the owner dictates what jobs get done and in what order...The employee begged me to give them a chance and seemed very sincere and apologetic but I could not, in good faith, let that owner take a dollar from me....No calls from the owner, no explanation from the owner who just appears to put his employees in the line of fire for his poor business decisions and acumen...If you're just a golfer or recreational cart user go somewhere else read more

Outstanding job. We had sling patio chairs that were discolored and found new fabric to replace it. The pickup and delivery was awesome. The work on the chairs was great and they look beautiful. It however took a while dealing with paperwork/different staff and to work on the chairs. The business is always swamped. Overall we are very pleased with the result. read more

Stopped in early summer to check on getting a quote, shortly after noon. Nice gal greeted me, she said the man that handles residential wasn't in then, so I planned to stop again. Went by again with my sofa cushions just in case, he wasn't in, so I left my name and number. Never heard back. Called a few days later and explained I was waiting to hear about getting my couch redone, again left my name and number. Never heard back. Ron did all the upholstery for my golf cart. I LOVE IT! Every stitch is tight and it looks amazing. Recently, the magnet fell out which prevented me from keeping the door closed. He showed up at my house at 5:30 on a Friday and made sure everything was fixed before he left. He also replaced the other side door magnet "just in case". A co-worker recommended Sun City Upholstery so I thought we would stop by and see if there was a sales rep that might be able to give us a ball park quote on what our project would cost. When we walked in there was a middle aged blonde lady with curly hair working with another customer. She didn't look up or acknowledge us. We brought a cushion with us as a sample to show what we were hoping to recover. We sat it on the floor by some other junk laying there (as it's a very cluttered, messy place) and we began to look at the fabric options hanging on display. She finished with the guest and walked over to us and said "I need to get over there!" and motioned just past us. We moved out of her way and over to the front door to wait. Then, she came over and said "Ron isn't here right now! He had a doctor appointment and has another appointment at 2:00". I said "We don't know who Ron is". She said "is that yours" pointing at the cushion we brought in. I said "Yes, it is. We were wondering if someone would be able to give us a quote on recovering several of these for us". She said "No." And then she said "Well, Ron could but he can't even talk to you until sometime in July". She was very abrupt and rude with her statements. I said "We will find another vendor to help us. Sorry to have troubled you" and we picked up our cushion and walked out.
