I went in to get a quote on some expensive outdoor patio furniture to be re-upholstered. Daniel told me he only does cars and Manny will call me. No call and then I called and asked for Manny gave excuse that he was off for 3 days, after a few more days I called again and Manny flips me back over to Daniel and given the runaround for a week and then Daniel tells me if I gave you a quote today we couldn't do it until next month. So I got the runaround for nothing, I won't go back and took my business somewhere else. read more

Poor workmanship. I asked for something very simple to be done and all he did was make my vehicle worse. You could tell that did you not care about your vehicle unless they are expecting to do a complete overhaul. When it comes to small jobs that I am aware of poor poor work I did not end up going back. I took my vehicle to another upholstery place and I was told what a crappy job they did which I agreed. Very unprofessional and I will never recommend this place. if you take your car here, please take complete photos of the outside your fenders your doors even where they're gonna work and compare it to when you get it back and you will see that they actually caused more damage than they do repair. read more

Horrible experience with Danny ,went in to get a estimate for storm damage to my mustang convertible top and seat ,Danny looked at it and then told me he would probably get a estimate to me in a couple of days. But seemed like I was more of a bother .sad thing is I used this company with three others cars and Manny Jr was spot on and courteous. Not having much choice I chose Able auto in Glendale. My husband has a 2012 GMC Sierra. Apparently, it's very common for the center console to disintegrate because it's made with vinyl. With long term exposure to body oil, sweat, dirt and the sun, the vinyl eventually gave out and there was a massive hole. My husband didn't seem to be bothered by it, but it irritated me and looked pretty filthy. I took it to Bell Auto Upholstery and they said it was no problem to repair it. I asked them to replace the vinyl with fabric and told them I wasn't concerned if the fabric didn't match perfectly. They took the console out and told me to give them 3 days. I was quoted $110, which I thought was really reasonable. Six days later, I called them, since they never called me and I asked them for a status update. They still weren't finished. I wasn't a surprised by the delay given everything with COVID-19. Personally, I think you have to cut everyone some slack these days because everything takes twice as long as it used to. The only thing that bothered me is they didn't call me--I had to call them. They said to give them two more days and it would be finished. Sure enough, I picked it up two days later and it looked great!! They installed it, the final cost matched the quote exactly and I drove away a happy camper. After driving for a bit, I realized there were dips in the console. Over time, the styrofoam filler had worn away. Instead of refilling spots that had styrofoam missing before they reupholstered it, they left it as is. Thankfully, you can't see it because the fabric is very taut. Overall, I'm happy with the price and generally happy with the quality. The uneven styrofoam filler isn't a deal breaker for me because it isn't noticeable until you rest your elbow on the console. Ultimately, the console looks a million times better and that's what matters to me!! read more

i contacted Daniel with a request to replicate cushions for the dining area of my travel trailer. I took the cushions in to the shop to have an estimate for the job. Daniel was very helpful , suggested that we choose the fabric by taking samples to the trailer for comparison. He also said that the shop could do the job, but it would be about 1 month until they could get to it. Not only did he quote an extremely fair price, but he upgraded the materials and when he found out i planned to travel in two weeks, worked overtime to have my job done early. I took my Avalon in for a repair of a hole in my leather back seat. I was quoted around 300.00 on my estimate. I was only charged 206.00. After repair I couldn't tell it had ever been damaged. I addition, on the day I went to pick up the repaired seat (they'd removed the back seat for repair; I didn't need to leave my car there), I'd scratched my passenger side door on a pole in a parking lot. The person at the upholstery shop went out of his way to help me with it. He was able to rub out most of the damage. A very good hearted person; he did it for nothing. Rare nowadays especially with franchises as opposed to small family owned businesses. I was really impressed. read more

Excellent work. Attention to detail. Great price. Our 03 Honda Pilot (one star for that piece of junk), the leather seats were cracking and falling apart. At the dealer, it was over $3000 for new seat covers, plus installation. Took her on over to Bell Auto Upholstery and Manny Jr. came out, took a look, and told me to replace it with vinyl for 1/10 the cost. They found vinyl that nearly matches the existing leather and crafted new panels for the cracking leather ones and you would be very hard pressed to tell they are not 100% new. And they did it all in one day. Amazing. BAU is a family run business and it looks like the entire family works there, and enjoys what they do. Can't recommend these guys enough. read more

Fair Prices, Quality work. Customer Service could be better but you get into that kind of business to work not to talk to customers. I'd recommend hiring a front desk person to answer phones and make appointments. Family just doesn't always cut it. I had a leather seat bottom replaced and the only issue was they broke the plastic cover plate at the lumbar support button without telling me. Drove off and noticed a day later when it came off. These guys were booked about a week out, but it was worth the wait, for certain. We had a relatively complicated headliner and visor replacement on our 2004 Xterra. We brought the vehicle in before 9am on the day of the appointment, and had a brand new headliner (including the foam padding) and visors by 4pm of the same day, as promised. The work was excellent. Seams were tight, installation was like "factory" and the color matching was spot-on. Price was very fair, and they communicate with their customers really well. Nice job. Is there a way to give zero stars?? My experience there in one word, SUCK. Their website claims that their "team is up to the challenge" and that they do marine work as well. Took my seat bottom and seat back to them. I wanted new vinyl, cushion and wood as the plywood was beginning to show some rot. The guy looked at it like he didn't know what it was. Cmon! Up to the challenge my ass. It's a single piece of half inch plywood about six foot by 18 inches covered in foam and vinyl. The guy said " he didn't do wood" that maybe he could do something if I cut the wood and brought it to him. Well that means I'm going to find somebody else to take my business. One word to describe Bell Auto Upholstery would be AWESOME! Great service and truly unsurpassed quality. They helped me pick out the right color for the inlay for my seats and it looks and fits me better than when I bought the car brand new. I had a good experience my first time at Bell Auto so I decided to come back again. BIG MISTAKE !!! I paid $1500 for a new Katzkin leather kit to be installed in my 2015 Expedition. When I picked up the car I noticed the headrest was damaged FROM THEM WHEN THEY INSTALLED THE LEATHER. When I asked him to fix the headrest he refused saying it was too expensive !!! IF YOU BREAK IT THEN YOU NEED TO FIX IT !!! So now I have to order a $600 headrest from the dealer to fix the damage they did !! read more
