Dr. Sun has been my acupuncturist for over 5 years. Whenever something goes out of whack, she fixes it. I play lots of golf, wrestle with my grandkids and cut hair 4 days a week. So at 64, I have to stay in pretty good shape. Yet, parts of the body need some fine tuning or sometimes a major tuneup. Dr. Sun has never failed to fix me right up when possible. I had a fractured upper arm and was in a sling for 6 weeks with minimal movement of the shoulder. Once I was allowed to move it, the pain was intense. I had some physical therapy but without success. A friend told me about Dr. Sun. She explained she does acupuncture and acupressure. I have used acupressure for years for motion sickness. What did I have to lose? Dr. Sun gave me a couple of treatments which I called her miracle work because the pain decreased and I was able to move it more. My orthopedic surgeon had me restart physical therapy. I have been going to Dr. Sun for almost eight years now. She has changed locations, and I have changed addresses, but that has not stopped me from going there even if it took an hour sometimes to drive one way. There are times when I wake up with bad neck, neck starts to hurt after driving, back or shoulder hurts after gym etc. etc. and Dr. Sun has been my go to person for all such issues. 100% of times she has resolved my issues in just 1-2 visits. I have had right hand injury since 2011 from punching bag without proper taping. It was difficult for me to twist or hold heavy objects with my grip. The hand got tired and sore easily. I have learned to live with it and move on. About 6 months ago, I decided to give the new acupuncture clinic a try in our neighborhood. Lots of needle around my hand. After the session, my hand felt very sore and I wasn't sure if the acupuncture treatment was working; thus, I didn't return. The hand stayed sore for a few days, and miraculously, after a week or so, the problem went away for good. Lately, I developed tennis elbow. I have been seeing Dr. Sun, when my back starts acting up, for more than four years. She is an expert acupuncturist and I trust her completely. Usually about 4 visits for my back flair ups does the trick. I love the fact that she is easy to make an appointment with and she is ALWAYS on time for her appointments. My favorite part of my treatment is the acupressure massage, boy does that feel great and it is very relaxing. Before my first acupuncture appointment with her, I thought that having needles in you would hurt, but surprisingly it doesn't hurt-- I just know it works. There was a time a few years ago, that my job was creating much stress in my life and I was getting frequent headaches as the result. I was already a patient of Dr. Sun's so the next time I saw her I mentioned my stress headaches that had been going on for some time. I had gone to my primary care doctor who diagnosed my issue as stress related and he provided me with the usual pill prescription. I took the pills for about two weeks, and while the headaches improved, although they did not completely go away, they left me groggy and dopey; so, I stopped taking them and the headaches returned in full force. Dr. Sun's acupuncture treatments fixed me up and the headaches never returned (it's been two years now).
