We just started coming here a couple of months ago, and mainly it was because of all the great reviews we were hearing from our friends and co-workers! They told us that was the best sushi in the whole Dallas-Fort Worth area, and we tend to agree! We also really love their spicy Ramen. My family went in for dinner tonight and Ryan was our waitress. She was absolutely amazing and was friendly and fun! We ordered the Monkey Brains, Sumo Mussels, Ahi Tuna Tower, and Haslet Roll. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented! We also had the Ruby Ocean Roll, which is a scrumptious hidden gem not in the menu and it just melted in our mouths. The experience at Sumo Sushi was not only yummy but so welcoming . We will definitely be back and are so excited to have some of the best sushi in DFW so close to us!!!! read more

I went for lunch and ordered a Louisiana Roll and 911 Roll...They were absolutely delicious! There are so many more Rolls I have to go back and try! The service was great! The teriyaki chicken tasted like it came out of a freezer bag!! And the fried rice was nothing special either. And I also got the vegetable undo noodles!! Literally the worst noodles I've ever had! My wife surprisingly wanted to go out for sushi and although I enjoy sushi she isn't a big fan. We got the haslet roll and it was really good and she actually enjoyed it too! I recommend trying this place out...Friendly staff and good atmosphere I will be back for sure! read more

This place in my opinion is hit or miss. I like my sushi meat cold because fish can go bad really quick and develop a texture coating if you know what I mean. I've had both here. Fresh tasting sushi and sushi I was concerned about. If you want to know if I will be back? It depends if I feel like driving to another sushi restaurant I really really like. I will say that the fish is good, but not worth the crappy attitude of the new waitstaff. Stopped in yesterday. Had a couple of rolls. Had to flag down our server for refills - he rolled his eyes (!!) and grabbed our glasses. He did not bring ginger or wasabi after we asked twice. We would have asked for a different server but it seemed like he was the only one, though it was busy and no manager in sight. Heard him loudly complaining about a customer to someone in the back. What happened to Raymond??? He could teach this guy a thing or two. Until the staff shapes up, we will drive to Fort Worth for sushi. read more

It used to be Queen Sushi Buffet, but now it is under new management and of course the name has changed.
