I've been here twice and had excellent experience both times. The first time I got a beef dish, I'll have to look up the name. I was asked if I wanted the beef cut into smaller pieces or larger. I said smaller and I swear the pieces were 2-3" square chunks. Every piece was deliciously tender, obviously top quality meat. The salad was crisp and fresh and the miso soup had good flavor. It might have been just a grand opening special or something but the soup and salad were both all you could eat. I had two cups of the Miso + 2 bowls of the salad. I loved the rice vinegar dressing on the salad. I agree that the main course was a little bit on the bland side but still delicious. The server did ask if I wanted any soy sauce but I'm trying to avoid things like that because of the sodium so I declined. I would have loved a glass of sake on the side but they don't have their liquor license yet. They are working on it. In the meantime you are welcome to BYOB. My server was a young man who did an excellent job. There were quite a few people in the place and he obviously had his hands full trying to take care of everyone but he checked back with me to see if I needed anything several times. Two different men, owners I think, stopped by to check in with me and see if everything was satisfactory, which it was. The second time I stopped by for lunch just now, 1.6.20. It was cold out and I was in a soup mood. I was actually on my way to another place when I drove past this one and remembered I had wanted to come back here so I decided to stop by and see if they had a lunch menu or any specials. They didn't have either but they did have the ramen soup which they had just started offering. I decided to order it. It turned out to be a gigantic bowl of ramen noodles in the most delicious broth ever, rich and full flavored. In it were plenty of top quality onions that tasted delicious and various other vegetables including cabbage, carrots, mushrooms + pieces of juicy tender pork throughout. There was a little bit of something red on the top that I think was a variety of kimchi and it was delicious. I was wishing there was more of it. About the only thing I would change would be maybe to add a chunk of lime on the side for those that might enjoy that flavor. Again the Miso and the salad were delicious. The Ramen soup was so wonderful. I ate the whole bowl. Usually I eat half my meal and save half for lunch the next day but there were no leftovers from this meal it was just too good to stop eating it. There were plenty of noodles which I was glad of because if I'm in the mood for noodles I want lots of them. This was not lacking. I got some green tea to have on the side and my only objection to the whole meal was that when I peeked in the teapot I was surprised to see tea bags rather than loose leaf tea. If they want to go to the next level I suggest using real green tea not tea bags. Otherwise it was pretty much a perfect meal. They bring ramen to a new level. Highly recommended. read more

Walked in at 8:09. Noticed 9 tables with empty / half eaten plates and napkins with food remaining that hadn't been cleaned up yet. Didn't get food until 8:49. I ordered Pork Tonkatsu Ramen and Curry. Curry was cold and my Ramen noodles were overcooked to the point they were a solid mass in the bowl, the egg was way overcooked with a green line surrounding the yolk, the pork meat was very low quality and slimy. Entire meal was extremely underwhelming yet memorably bad. Service was extremely slow and restaurant is understaffed- to which I can't fault our server as it was her 2nd day and she did a great job given the circumstances. As we left the tables still hadn't been cleared / cleaned. The restaurant also held a very odd aroma, similar to that of an open dish washer. A waitress finally saw us waiting for a long time then took two menus and started walking so we weren't sure we were suppose to follow. Low quality meat is used. The beef was so tough and full of connective tissue, I was unable to eat a single piece. It had a strange flavor as well, as if it were old. The chicken in the orange chicken was like frozen nuggets which were over cooked. You will be charged a "customer fee". Went here for my daughter's birthday. Overall the atmosphere is laid back and appears clean. We got 2 sushi rolls, the monkey roll and spicy California. Both were decent but nothing amazing. Most of our kids got ramen noodle bowls. Huge disappointment as the meat was sparse and the eggs just boiled sliced egg. Plain old green cabbage and broth and a mushroom or two. Can't even compare with the ramen places we've eaten while traveling. The chicken Katsu was ok, the fried rice with frozen mixed vegetables like carrots and corn and lima beans was dry, flavorless and I just left it. My son got a squid salad, disappointing with no flavor. He got a tuna roll but the tuna was chopped up and mushy. My husband got a noodle dish that was suppose to have chicken and it was overall edible but not anything really appetizing. Overall I would say this is an average place with moderate to expensive prices. So many other places would of been cheaper and a better choice overall. They could change some things and make it much better but that will be their decision. 6 are. Ticket was 122.00 we all had water but two and we left a 25 dollar tip. Wouldn't recommend this for a large crowd may be better as a couple. Won't likely return there anytime soon. read more

My mother-in-law and I went here yesterday for lunch and it was excellent! When we first walked in, it smelt a little like mildew but it quickly went away, or we got used to it. It took a while for our waitress to come over to us but was fine since it was our first time to go and we needed time to look over the menu. She ordered chicken fried rice and I got the thin sliced steak and it was so good! Both meats were VERY tender and juicy, not dried out like other places. The rice, meat and veggies were separate but was a lot of food. I didn't get a picture as we dove right in as soon as it came The waitress had offered to bring some steak sauce or some spicy sauce, as I had asked for something spicy, but the steak sauce wasn't very good - TOO much ginger and wasn't what I was expecting. I wanted an original spicy sauce to their place not just once from a jar. The management checked on us a few times which was nice. Overall, we will definitely be back! read more
