Promptly at 1:00pm I took my written test, although I was the last person to take the skills test, the observer had me sit down and repeated the skills one more time and showed me where all the supplies were in order to complete the skills portion of the test. The program's director displays consistent rudeness and evades questions rather than offering clear responses. Communication from most of the staff is lacking, and their replies often come off as defensive, offering no valuable solutions to address issues. Perhaps the most significant and concerning problem is their apparent lack of accommodation for individuals with disabilities, fostering an unhelpful "deal with it" attitude. This issue is especially problematic given my current participation in a rehabilitation and vocational program supported by the Department of Economic Security, designed to assist people with disabilities in re-education. The faculty's performance leaves much to be desired, as they frequently fail to fulfill their responsibilities and respond to inquiries, errors, and concerns with resistance, deflection, and an absence of accountability for their mistakes. In the nine months since I started, more than seven educators have quit without notice, and those who remain take vacations at inopportune times, crucial to the transition into new courses and externships. Proper planning and consideration seem to be nonexistent when it comes to student placement, and overall, there is a conspicuous lack of professionalism. I strongly advise against enrolling here, as you will likely regret the decision later on.

The truth is, the revolving curriculum is so unstructured, students mesh together during different quarters, into classes they're not ready for yet, but the other students are. You're all mixed together, regardless of where you are in progress. Also, Aspen university nursing plan has just been shut down for the SAME EXACT ISSUES occurring here. Currently talking to a friend who is being pushed back because her CPR card wasn't accepted by the school. Even though other students used the same one. The staff doesn't talk to each other, and once instructor might ok something another won't. There is absolutely ZERO structure. None of the chain of command cares. They may listen to you but ultimately they will side amongst themselves. The class credits are non transferable so you will have to start over at a different school. So, just imagine being so close to the finish line working so hard to accomplish a lifetime goal, to it being ripped from you forcing you to start over..if you have the mental capacity to do so. Nursing school is hard already, but these leaders in charge solely care about themselves and a paycheck. Couldn't care less about the emotional and mental trauma we endure in nursing school.
